A nice area I haven't been to before. Found it, but the container is gone, and some of the contents were lying in the ground nearby... Covered it up again but didn't have a new container with me. TFTC!
Great cache in a great spot. Good to see one of this size for a change. Nice early morning walk. Thanks.
Cache zombified. In the area for a new puzzle cache and thought I might pick up a few others while here. Had no idea it would be such a steep walk up on a drizzly day. Despite the recent burnoffs cache and contents were in good order. Tftc.
Needed a cache near to habitation that could take TBs and this one was perfect. Short walk from the car and quick find in an interesting piece of the hill.

Good work out up the hill from Quarry Rd and a quick find. I replaced the lid so as not to be cross threaded and now the moisture shouldn't get in. The log is damp. TFTC
Great walk and easy find, nice spot! Liked the cache, but it was a bit wet on the inside
After picking up Smiley from work, the Bear, Smiley and Cub headed to out to find our 300th cache. In the past month we have really enjoyed finding JABs' caches and really appreciate the effort he makes. Therefore we decided on this one for our 300th. We headed up hill and got to GZ in the dying daylight, just in time for the Cub to make the find under Smiley's guidance. Thanks again JABs for yet another great hide.
Found with Junior Cacher, left blue dinosaur, contents a bit damp, left nothing. TFTC
A quick find while on a pleasant afternoon stroll. (Liked the container.) Thanks JABs.
nice spot, nice walk. didnt take anything, didnt realise thats what you do, will do next time when i take the kids (treasure) hunting.
A terrific area and so close to city. THX for enticing me up here. Need to explore more! Lee
In Hobart for the day so took the opportunity to find some caches. Made a quick find took TB. TFTC
On the way to meet up with the Mrs and well since i was sort of driving past the area i called in and after a short search soon had the cache in hand.

I had commitments next week in Hobart, So it was a quick and easy decision to head across early for sightseeing and caching long weekend.. So it was all planned.. I started at Hobart Airport early on Saturday and was loosely en route to the International Geocaching Day event (GC3RMH6) in Hobart. I later headed as far south as South Tasmania 1 (GC408). I had a blast taking in not only the caches but also the sights and sounds. My apologies to the cache owners for my very generic logs, Lots of caches were awesome, however all deserve more than this boring paragraph that I'm devoting.. I picked out lots of drive bys, however also slowed down for the odd multi or puzzle (solved in the field). Thanks to all cache owners for the wonderful caches, great locations and views and all the effort that has gone into the hides. I have taken a bunch of photos and will upload them in the coming week or so.. Back home now I'm slowly catching up on the logging.. I am looking forward to another tip back accross the straight to collect a whole lot of caches that I overlooked. Finds mostly fit into the #2800 - #2900 range.. Thanks for the cache JABs
Haven't been to this area for a while, and this was a good excuse to get out and stretch the legs !
Thanks for the cache, JABs !
Thanks for the cache, JABs !
Howrah Cub Scouts did a Grey Wolf hike through this area today.
6 cubs + leaders + parents did the hike, including our geodad + geokid, the cache owner JABs + his son SmellyBelly8.
They stopped at this cache and geocaching was explained to the group.
A goodluck caching token was given to each cub from our own supplies.
The cubs took nothing and left a log note, ball & badge for their visit.

Found 15:35 while out on an afternoon stroll. Some fantastic views from the top of the nearby ridge.
A quick find by geodad after checking the hint. Geomum made it most of the way but an incorrect turn had us downhill of the cache so geodad did the honors as the sun had just set. There is some water collecting in the cache but not too bad, log is okay in ziploc. Took mini african doll, left marbles. Have had a great afternoon wandering Waverly Flora Park. TFTCs
Been meaning to do this one for ages, tried to grab a fair while ago but there were council workers working too close to the gz but got a free moment to find today. Took 2 TB's and lizard thingy and left 2 dinosaurs and a motorbike. TFTC!!
Good descriptor for GZ. Took "Little Red" TB. Heading interstate then OS. Look out for the next drop.
What a great hide.....awesome cache container.....had to stop and drop for muggles and two sniffer dogs passing by.....very funny added to the fun.....thankfully we werent spotted....tn...left tbs....tftc.

The GPS said turn left but a bit of a drop deterred us, so a bit of a detour to an easier approach was taken. Took an Indian Chief left a bird card.
went to this cache with my friend abby and hope down the little cliff edge and found cache but had to get dad to undo cache it was to tight thanks for cache
Found this cache on the leap day, as part of a plan to collect at least one cache of each site on the day. I had planned for a while how to approach this and the other cache, and my approach did not let me down. Loved the last log book entry from 2ys. It looked like a cooked jar but alas no cookies.
Thanks for the cache jabs. A great little walk
Thanks for the cache jabs. A great little walk
After a short uphill walk (certainly not of the same demands as the walk to Lady Lake last weekend), we were near GZ. A quick survey of the area and we found access to GZ where a quick find was made. TFTC JABs.
We went to do Black Springs, but as the weather was holding we ended up here. A most impressive cache - the biggest we ahve seen of this type! L bike lock (Having remembered that we will need combinationones to avoid lossing the keys!! and frog (as there didn't seem to be one here) T polishing cloth (to look after the transport we already have!! TFTC L a frog nearby.
My boys were keen to find just one more cache after some frog hunting this morning, so this fit the bill. We were very pleased to find such a large cache. Thanks!
Quick find with Geo-Grandkids while on holiday in Tas. Enjoyed the walk and kids were were impressed with the items in this 'BIG" cache.TFTC
Liked the good sized container. There's some nice walking up around here. Thanks Jabs.
This was quick easy find. The cache is one of the larger ones I've seen, but its well hidden. The hint is what gave it away.
found gz and cache quite quickly after a short walk was very impressed with the amount of things in this cache
This was a great one to find with my child, spent ages trying to decide what to swap. Left Zulu chief (found in Search of Big Tracks).
Had a great walk looking for this cache with good views of the city. enjoyed it very much. TNLN, TFTC
This is a lovely area and you forget that you are surrounded by a city as you walk through the bush on the well made paths. This was the third JABs cache we did in the area today and another great cache. Thanks for the walk in the wamrth and sunshine in a lovely area we were happy to return to and explore again. Took a couple of TBs. TFTC.
I parked in Waverley St which meant I had a 387 metre steep uphill climb to get to GZ. Good leg-aching material but not good preparation when I was about to go for a run. GPS led me to a small cliff but after a bit of a detour the cache was easily found. Most impressive. I didn't swap anything but did take two of the mnany geocoins to move north early in the new year. GFTC.
Hi JABs
Continuing on from GC38QF3 "Information Drive By"; I drove to the nearest point and then enjoyed a quiet, slow walk to ground zero.
It was great to walk up the hill this time as on each prior occasion, I've gone from the other side of the hill which is a much steaper and longer walk. The ease of this track was very pleasant. Solitude was great and not being broken by muggles made it even more pleasant.
Ground zero was quickly found but with the wrong foot wear on, I had to be a little careful on the approach. The cache was spotted quickly.
I signed the log and replaced the cache at 1703hrs.
Great container, good swaps and all good with the cache.
Enjoyed the good views as I walked down the gentle slope back to the car.
TFTC and cheers; OldSaint.

Having previously kept the eastern shore clear of caches, and having to move the car from a 2 hour parking zone, I couldn't resist returning to this area to find a new (old) cache.
I snuck up on GZ, walking in ever-decreasing circles, until I almost fell on the impressively stocked container.
I didn't swap anything.
Thanks for the walk and the hide.

Found at 2100 just on dark. On the way back could hear wallabies thumping through the bushes. Great container. Took Travel Unicorn. TFTC.
After a late start to the day and a nice stroll to GZ we were convinced we could not be FTF. We were pleasantly surprised to find no Tasmanian logs in the book.
We were most impressed with the container. Thanks for bringing us back to one of our favourite walking areas. TNLN TFTC

This area was one of our favoured walks with Nelson, the late Wonderdog, and I had to dodge several dogwalkers this evening but the location of the actual hide meant that I was out of sight while I logged my Second-To-Find, literally while sitting on a log. Whatacontainer!! Took a Cache Buddy, Count Cacheula and left the GeoElement Geo Coin. Then did my service to the Park by pulling out 14 Boneseed seedlings - wretched weed. TFTC.
