Nice cache in a beautiful part of the world, found after a sunrise watching session
Greetings all the way from Gladstone, Central Qld Couldn't think of a better spot for a find.Thank you for sharing this beautiful part of the world with us
Today I went for a walk and looked for this one and soon found it. Thanks for the cache.Favo+
Could the next geocacher attending please do some maintenance on this cache. A new container and log are required. With thanks Liz and Bruce
TFTC. Cache and contents are in reasonable condition although it could do with a new Ziploc bag and container.A beautiful day for a walk and incredible scenery. Camping season has commenced in Tasmania this year.
It wasnt the best day for a visit to the Garden but we jumped on it as it wasnt raining. Always splendid to find a Liz and Bruce cache, TFTC
Lovely spot for a cache! Heard of the Bay of Fires some years ago and its been etched into the bucket list since. Todays the day to explore them!
Thanks for a cache is a most exquisite place, coastline, surf and not quite isolation. Beautiful.
What a stunning spot to leave the travel bug we brought across of the ferry from VIC. Thanks for bringing us here
Stunning area and a cache as a treat for being here. Visiting from Canada and enjoying roaming the Bay of Fires. TFTH
Queenslanders heading up the east coast after completing the 3 Capes Walk.Spending 2 nights in St Helens to see the Bay of Fires and cache. Found easily once we read the hint. Container and log in good condition. Thanks Liz and Bruce and robtas for the cache and bringing us here.
Big thanks to Liz and Bruce for creating this cache! Your effort brought an extra spark of excitement to our geocaching quest. This discovery was find number 1,117 for us, marking another memorable moment in our adventure. Living and traveling full-time across Australia in our Coaster Bus, we're always on the lookout for caches to uncover. Currently, we're in Tasmania, planning to explore this beautiful island for around 18 months or so. To see more of our travels, feel free to follow our journey HERE...
We kunnen terugkijken naar 2 mooie weken in Australi!NLBokkie and I are going on holiday to Australia for 4 weeks. We will go to Tasmania for the first week and then travel around on the "mainland" for 3 weeks. Along the way I'll meet my niece, I haven't seen her for 50 years. It will be a holiday full of experiences......Our cache goal is to visit different countries. So we fly back to Dubai and forth via HongKong. We would like to score an FTF in Australia. We do that in Tasmania?? Then the webcam caches in Adelaide and the old caches between Adelaide and Sydney. Then we end up at the Mega in Canberra. A full program which a lot of fun!Unfortunately, after 2 weeks we have to end our trip with an earlier return flight to the Netherlands. My mother passed away and we have to go back. We can look back at 2 beautiful weeks in Australia!
[9052] Holidays on Tasmania, day 13. Today we had enough time to explore the magnificent bay of fire. We started with a walk from Binalong Bay to the Balancing Boulder and headed after lunch up to The Gardens. On the way back we stopped for more scenic geocaches, the last geocaching visit for today became the grandfather virtual. Finally, we spent some time at the beach before we returned to our cabin at Pelican Point. This geocache belonged to our finds today. TFTC!
#2750 This is my day 259, and the longest physical cache find streak so far. I want to see how far I go. I am on a family vacation in Australia, and Tasmania road trip is our main highlight. Today, we drove towards the Bay of Fire and found caches along the way. And here we are at Bay of Fire Thank you for the cache!-crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan @ February 18, 2024 16:47:51
Amazing views from here, white islands, orange rocks and deep blue water. TFTC
Another beautiful location. My 6yo was beyond excited to find a Pokmon card in the hide after I taught him to play the game a week ago. Perfect.
Yesterday I came out here but didnt realise the phone reception would be so iffy. So today I got up at sparrow oclock and hoped to not only find this cache, but see a colourful sunrise.Well, one out of two isnt so bad.TFTC Liz and Bruce & RobtasKeep smiling Keep smiling
21267During our great trip around the world we arrived in Australia after visiting Canada, US, and some places in the Caribean Sea and Central America as well as Fiji. Besides lots of sightseeing, we can't do without caching, of course. That's why we also passed by this place, searched for the cache, found it and successfully signed the logbook.Thank you for hiding and maintaining the cache. Only thanks to dedicated owners is this beautiful game possible.Wir danken alle Cache-Ownern fr ihren Einsatz, denn ohne die Gemeinschaft ist dieses tolle weltweite Hobby nicht zu realisieren.
On our long term trip from Germany to Western Australia / Tasmania / New Zealand for about 3,5 month, we arrived Tasmania and picked up some caches. This one was a quick and easy found. A very beautiful and mystic place in the sunset hours. TFTC
We stayed near the Pub in the Paddock for a couple of nights and drove here one afternoon to look at the area. It is a beautiful spot. The cache was located quickly. Thanks for the hide Liz and Bruce.
Found on a trip to Tasmania with pineapplegoldy!LWF.Some caches have been signed as "Goldy and Jimmy". Goldy has sent answers and uploaded photos where applicable. TFTC
Goldy and Jimmy are holidaying in Tasmania for a few days. A quick trip away from our regular life to see sights and find caches.I'm aiming to continue my daily streak and fill some Jasmer grid spots. As well as find some challenge caches and as many virtuals as I can.Today we pay our respects to the fallen ANZAC soldiers and all other fallen soldiers around the world. The ultimate sacrifice was made and it is important to remember them.We attended the Remembrance Day Service in Saint Helens to pay our respects. We then made our way to the Bay of Fires for the day, followed by a drive along the east coast to Bicheno.I pretended to be using my good camera to take snaps until the coast was clear of muggles. When I saw my chance, a quick find was made. A lot of log books were in the cache, I dug through and found the current one. I added our names as Jimmy kept look out. After signing the log, we were on our way.A nice spot for a cache. The container and contents are in good condition here."They shall grow not old,as we that are left grow old;Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sunand in the morningWe will remember them."**Lest we forget.**Thanks Liz and Bruce and Robtas for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3786 on the 11th of November 2023.
Found 1/10/23 @ 11:25 AMApologies for the late log. What a stunning area! Wow. Photos don't do this place justice. If only we could move to Tassie.
A beautiful location is an understatement. Such a stunning part of the world. I over estimated and made the terrain rating harder than it needed to be before I found it, about 10 minutes later. TFTC
With phone on 2% percent and a long trip back to the West Tamar I was thankful I could find this so quickly! Happened to have a perfect approach and spotted this cache’s hiding spot. After a lengthy drive I think this will be my only cache for the day but my non-local muggle friends loved the trip across and the outstanding scenery! Now back the way we came!
Jetstar was having a sale…. in the middle of winter, for a destination further south than I already live. That sounds like a great idea!
So a plan for a 4 night whirlwind tour of the northern part of the state was hatched. I’ve seen lots of this beautiful state, but haven’t found a single cache. With plenty of challenges to tick off, and a long list of targeted caches, this week is the time to turn that around.
It’s the final day for this trip, leaving St Helens for Launceston via more of the coast and then inland through Campbell Town and Ross.
After enjoying the sunrise I set about finding this cache. A fantastic location for a cache. The sunrise earns this a favourite.
Thanks Liz and Bruce for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Oddly, this took longer to find than it should have. Possibly my original approach was not the best idea. Anyway, I signed the log and removed a Travel Bug to take on a little journey when I return back home. Thanks
TFTC! The walk to the GZ was short with lots of amazing views. Bring a towel so you can have a swim!
Nice spot, the kids enjoyed the climbing and were keen to have a swim.

We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to Liz and Bruce (maintenance by Robtas) for the generation of this nice cache Geocachers Garden (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Found with Morgothegeo and Sandyofthesea when we stopped into the gardens to have lunch. Beautiful location TFTC
In Tassie for March, cutting a lap and finding a few caches along the way.
Probsty spotted this one quickly! Lucky, I was looking at the bigger rocks.
What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was amazing and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then a change of plan and we ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.
Liz and Bruce, I found Geocachers Garden today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Nalezeno společně s Radoshordos během měsíčního výletu do Malajsie, Singapuru, Bruneje a Austrálie, kde byla hlavním cílem celého výletu Tasmánie. Singapore se zároveň stává mojí 39. navštívenou zemí a Austrálie mojí 40. navštívenou zemí.
Keš jsem našel během chvilky společně s Radoshordos. Děkuji za přivedení na další zajímavé místo a za další bod do sbírky.
Zdravím z České republiky.
Found it during a one-month trip together with Radoshordos to Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Australia, where Tasmania's was main destination of the whole vacation. Singapore is also becoming my 39th visited country and Australia my 40th visited country.
I found the cash in a moment with Radoshordos. Thank you for bringing me to another interesting place and for the next point to the collection. Greetings from the Czech Republic.

On our way around Tassie for 3 weeks. After setting up camp at the Dora Point Camping area we went for a drive to find some caches and check out the scenery.
Cache was spotted after a quite a bit of searching, all good with the cache. Now to admire the view before heading back for dinner

My friend Anna spotted this one! A good find and a great selection of treasure!
I'm sure it's there but we were short of time and my extra sets of eyes were too busy swimming at the beach. Mind you if there hadn't been people exploring before me I would be very wary in the long grass! We'll be back.
Heading back from the GZ for the Earthcache and this was another target find. All good here, quick find - signed and replaced as found.
Day 5 and our outing from Launceston had us heading over to the aptly named Bay Of Fires. There were a couple of sets of roadworks which caught us out and we detoured via Deedle Dim Road. Called in to a closed trout fishing river hoping to spot a trout and saw a second (for this trip) platypus so that was a good start to the day. More great stuff seen, thanks Tasmania.
We had a weeks holiday booked in Tasmania as a way of celebrating mrs capperz's 60th birthday. What can I say but WOW. What an awesome state and was everything we'd seen and heard about this gem of a place. My main PQ had only Earthcaches and Virtuals and aside from an old cache for my missing month stats I only turned the GPS on when we were stopping somewhere anyway, what a great way to tour a place. Managed one complete set of Ad Labs at the airport, and started another 6 adventures with no intention to complete. Over 50 'real' caches were completed and left behind a couple of trackables to continue their journeys.
I will upload the associated pictures and answers over the next few days or so, need to start to make a dent in my finds backlog.
Oh, and thanks to all COs for their hides, much appreciated for this New Zealander.

Here for the Oceania orienteering championships and found with Firstfox and Famished Fox. What a lovely spot. Not sure what the lines are for on the beach nearby but it is a great place for a swim/picnic etc. TFTC
Today we were exploring the Bay of Fires & our visit to The Gardens was the highlight. Great location here, we all got our swimmers on & enjoyed a splash. TFTC.
Nice quick find, then we popped round the corner and the kids had a paddle in the beach. What a magical spot. TFTC
Day 7 of our road trip around eastern side of Tassie. The weather has turned blustery today but still enjoying the scenery and coffee as we go . Tftc
On a day trip from Launceston to St Helen and back we also checked out the Bay of Fire.
I was surprised that I found this cache so quickly because there are so many hiding spots here.

Very good spot. Close to DNF, but just needed to look from a different perspective... TFTC!
Found this cache while on holidays traveling around Tasmania.
Over the last couple of days we've been exploring the east coast.
Upon arrival the seas were looking rather rough and water spray was splashing at the nearby rocks. The rocks and colours all around here are amazing. Nature sure puts on a display.
At GZ it took us a little while to find the right spot but we eventually did.
Thanks for putting the cache here, we enjoyed our visit to see the amazing scenery.
