Happy caching
As this event only comes around every 4 years so this was extra special. thanks again I.C.C for the event.

Plus, a bonus souvenir!
Plenty of rain didn't deter everyone from coming together at the Golden Arches to celebrate this rare day on the caching calendar. The kids enjoyed themselves (but the playground was closed ) and once they had had enough off we went.
TFTE!
Again a huge turnup for an event at this time of the day and under these circumstances!

Great to meet up with you, folks! I already logged, that I had my leap year already in 2011, but it was good fun, and the first found on such a special date! Driving here from Sydney was a bit challenging due to fog and extremely bad view. Picked Suparki12 up in Stanwell Park and off we went, after few DNF in Helensburgh. I guess, we parked straight on GZ, 1.8m away or so, and as we entered the nearby restaurant, in pouring rains, we met all the old friends, and others I only knew from reading good logs. Nice to exchange on a few special caches we loved to find or had some adventure with, or just far away we sought both independently, like The Lord of The Rings in Santa Monica.
Retrieved a few travel bugs, as I might go abroad, shortly... Will see what we do, certainly hope to share some good logs and drop them off, according to their wishes - and if they fit the cache.
Ja, und wiedermal ein paar Deutsche unter den Reisenden! Ihr koennt euch drauf verlassen, dass das Rennen weitergeht!
Thanks for the cach, mate, The Rats, for organizing - easy find!

Theres no better place to keep the kids happy than at McDonalds and for the oldies to grab a coffee and catch up on caching adventures.
Happy 366th day caching
Thanks to ICC and Rats for organising the event.
Thanks Steeba for the 366 Days Geocoin, on the day when I ticked off all the days of the year.
Happy Caching and hope to see you in the wild or at the next caching event.
When Krafty(Charlie) told me he wanted to hold the event at 292 I scoured Google Maps looking for a suitable location, and what a coincidence that this location just happens to be 292 Princes Highway Fairy Meadow!! Mind you I did eat dinner before coming to reduce the temptation of eating something for dinner that has little nutritional value
With two Scout meetings on this evening it had to be a quick stop over for me 9along with Nighteez), but an essential one, as this is one of my last three days needed to complete my caching calendar. Thanks to Steeba for supplying me with a geocoin in anticipation of completing my calendar on Friday!
The usual story of catching up with old friends and meeting new faces that share in our (circle your preference) hobby/pass-time/sport/obsession.
See you all around the traps soon!
Cheers (as always)
Hoojar!
Best wishes to all.

The Arkaroo has had his leap year already last year, in 2011! However, never sought a stash on a twentyninth of february. Sounds good to me having a get-together during the week, as the week ends are always busy! If nothing is on call, I will be there to catch up with friends I haven't met since long or only know electronically!
How I spoiled my leap year? Well, I took a flight on new year's eve 2011 from Oz, slept a night and found myself on new year's eve 2011 in Texas. That sums up to 366 days in 2011 - and on the way back, I skipped one day in 2012 - the 8th of january was simply not existent for me! O Thank Heaven, Dr. Hackelstein!
