After my plans were spoiled of going and doing the ‘T4.5 Tree Climb Trail’ in Walla Walla, I decided to clean up as much of west Wagga as possible. This is because I still had a little bit of time up my sleeve but not enough to make it Walla and back. There were a various amount of hides and challenges which led to a great day out. TB visit on all found caches today. On some of the smaller log books/sheets I signed as 30/8 JM. I did enjoy my few hours out and I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for the fun I had while finding them.
Today's Totals:
18 Finds
1 DNF's
After arriving at GZ for this one, I made the find of the badly damaged container after a short time. The log sheet was swimming in water. THIS ONE WILL NEED SOME TLC. I got a fresh piece of paper out and put my mark on it. I am not sure how long it will last because I didn't have a zip-lock bag. I hid it under some camo on the ground and as best as I could to prevent water from entering it again but I don't know how long it will last. Maybe the next finder (or the CO) could bring a replacement cache with them next time it is visited.

Checked all the likely and all the unlikely spots but no luck with this one today unfortunately.

My second and last day of my last minute decision to travel into the Riverina region to cache.
With an early start and a full cup of coffee I was ready to hunt.
In the end I totalled 81 finds for the day, and got back home just after dark.
I found this one on the ground. placed it in the tree in the likely spot.
Thanks for the caches.

Catching up with some late logs
This was our last day in town for this trip before catching the train back to Melbourne later this afternoon and The Drovers kindly offered to take Mrs Crackers out to look for a few more caches.
Again we were pleased to find this part of the park deserted, it may have been a lot more difficult to retrieve the cache if a game had been in progress but as it was the GPSr led me directly to the hide and our name was added to the log.
Thanks once more for the cache scotty 12345 taipan man for the cache.

Found this one on our caching holiday from Adelaide. We were trying to get to a couple of nearby puzzle caches when we couldn't get off the road and ended up at Norman's Oval.
Thanks for the cache.

The long weekend had arrived! What better way than to make the most of it and jump in the car to go on a geo getaway?!
After a quick stop for lunch and an icy cold drink, time to get moving again and nab this one. Found after a few moments of searching at the base of the tree. So after signing the log, I've returned it to a spot in the tree matching the description
Thanks for yet another, scotty12345

TFTC and a bit of exercise this morning !!
Found by Mary & David at 1015. Quite a park here for the locals with lots of facilities. We were particularly impressed by the number of trees that have been planted around the fences. A few of the claret ash are starting to show colour already. Found the cache quickly. Our thanks to scotty12345.
Out early today to get a few caches in the cool of the morning before having to retreat to our airconditioned caravan as the termperatures rise in the afternoon. These caches around Wagga gave a great chance to have a look around and to marvel on the creativity of some of the hides. Thanks to scotty12345 for placing this cache.

We are attempting to log at least one cache every day, so we can add to our streak of "Most Consecutive Days Cached", which we started on New Years Day 2014. Our route today took us to and past some really wonderful & scenic locations.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

A quick find here to make up for the frustration and lack of success with the other Norman TFTC scotty
Found while on a great Caching expedition to Wagga Wagga with the WEEO, first time I have been exhausted by caching! (sorry for the late log). TFTC
Just had a great Caching experience with the Newberys caching the RGGT trail with the Newberys. We ejoyed it so much we just kept going to do these local caches. TFTC TNLN.
Found on our Wagga Wagga trip. After failing to find the cache at the playground, we drove over to the other side of the area for a much quicker find. Nicely hidden away from the public in a nice area. However the log is wet and may need checking. TFTC scotty12345!
Nice big park area - footy, dog oval, etc... Signed the log. Thanks scotty12345
[:(!] While in Wagga for the week I picked a few caches and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

Having DNFed the nearby one the playground, this one provided quick redemption. Thanks for the series Scotty.
Weather is not bad, little hot day... Great enjoyed drive around of Wagga Wagga for caches, easy to find as very well hide, thanks
A plan was struck with Boot65 to head down the highway from Canberra to collect the RGGT Trail as well as some extra's if we had the time. We had an extra seat in the car, so Rapidlywild joined in the trek. As we had finished the trail it was time to collect a few more around. The muggles from the previous hide watched us trek across to this one, quick grab and we were on our way. TFTC, log was signed as RFB.
Well it was time to invade Wagga Wagga again. Boot65 and FurfacesLL had planned a day trip over to attack the powertrail then move over and knock off some other unfinished caches. So there was a seat left and I requested to fill it.
We began the morning nice and early (although Boot65 forgot to wake in time it seems [:p]) and headed into Wagga Wagga arriving just after 0930. On the way in, we collected a few caches that FurfacesLL hadn't picked up yet and a newish one outside of Yass to get ourselves warmed up for the day.
The target of the morning was the powertrail, so after having breakfast, arriving in Wagga Wagga, we bee-lined to the start of the trail. With everyone on board, a custom stamp made for the trip, the powertrail was knocked off in just over 2 and a half hours. Nice work guys
This left plenty of time to knock over some more Wagga Wagga ones we had unfound. So we worked our way around Wagga picking up caches as we went along. Some I already had, others I didn't. In total, I made about 29 odd finds today and the rest of the crew cleared 100 easily.
The weather was nice, the company was great, the snake that gave one of the FF ladies a heart attack was not so great however was funny. There was plenty of laughter throughout the day and many logs signed. Thanks for another eventful day Wagga Wagga.
Thanks for bringing me along FurfacesLL and Boot65, we are slowly cleaning Wagga out lol.

Started to search but as I turned around it was made easy for me as the cache was on the ground. I think my thoughts were I will take that as time is getting short.

After driving to southern Sydney Friday on a work trip I'm heading home via a couple of days in Wagga.
Today was a day to knock over the new power trail along with a few other caches in and around Wagga.
This was a quick and simple find with no muggles anywhere in sight.
Thank you for the cache scotty12345.
#2450th @ 1252hrs and 90th of 103 for the day.

Wagga weekend trip with Mtrax, Tankengine and Noikmiester to visit new caches and find the Riverina trail Day 2. It looked like some event was just winding up, so I walked over here to visit this spot. All well and a very nice park for all sorts of activities. Yet another milestone passed, happy about that ! Thanks.

Mrs jacko found this one after a few moments searching. We are never sure about caches in these areas but today was nice and quiet so we had no problems.

I was greeted this morning with a calendar free of any entries, including work, so I arranged with Veddadog to go for a tour of the Riverina, picking up 54 finds, 6 DNF's and 450km in a solid 12 hours.
A slightly quicker find than the last, but the GPSr seemed a little unsure under the trees. All's well that elds well, though

A nice park area for a couple of caches. A short look around in the trees and the cache was in hand. Thanks for bringing us to this nice park. Good spot to have a breather before heading off to the next spot.
Bit easier than Norman was. Found this one during a break in our search for Norman. Interesting name for a cricket oval - was that the fellow's name or couldn't he bat very well? TFTC scotty12345
Found on a trip to the Area with Crazy! Nat Girl so she could indulge in a little Munzee scanning. Thanks for the cache.
This is our final day of caching in Wagga, there has been some good quality & varied caches.
We have enjoyed our stay & will have to return one day to find the many still left to be found.
Found this one quickly.

#2666 After a DNF on the other norman cache, this was not so hard to locate. Given the time of year the cache was well concealed. Thanks again scotty12345 and taipan man for the cache. Interesting to see a cricket pitch that isn't also used as a footy ground.
Travelled a short distance from the previous cache to grab this one, much easier than the last, with 4 sets of eyes, watch for bees in the trees this time of year and the cache guardians are fierce blood suckers.

After finding 'Norman', it was over to his brother nearby, and with four of us looking, this one took us longer than it should have. The coords pin pointed one particular tree, but with nowhere to hide a cache, we opted to search elsewhere, and eventually found the cache several meters away.

A short drive away (yes we drove) from Norman where all eyes were on deck for this one aswell before it was finally spotted.
GPS had us bouncing between the trees.
Log was a tad damp, but hopefully these warm days will dry it out.
TFTC in this nice reserve. Cheers.

#373 Found at 1450 this was an easy find with the gps indicating that I was 5M away from GZ I think the DNF at norman may be a result of not obtaining the actual GZ to conduct the search. However this hide and the cammoflarge of the container are worth the hour I spent at the park.
Thanks scotty12345 for another great hide
