This one was still there. I had almost given up and with every passing car, felt as though someone might eventually stop to ask what I was doing. It's near the smaller bottlebrush tree trunk and the mulch has covered it very well indeed. I ended up using a stick to poke & scratch around. It was ant free at the time of signing the logbook.

GPS wasn't sure which bush but as it was wet, we didn't try for long, despite the seemingly helpful clue.
The hint suggested the cache is buried and the tree is infested with ants by the thousands. So although it may be there it was not worth the ant bites that we endured, won't be back for this one.
After a fruitless look yesterday and a shirt load of black ants, I spoke to Apty who remembered finding it but no detail except a description of the container. Today after carefully avoiding the ants it was located and the log signed, thus closing off five blank days in the GeoCalendar.

Found on a pleasant caching day out with friends. Split into 3 teams the object was to find as many of 16 caches as possible around Port Elliot in 2 hours before heading to the pub for lunch. It took my team a little while to find this one but we got there in the end. SL TFTC Spuddymoore!
Off to the big smoke for work, so off caching I must go. Luckily I had great company.... Aussie M & M, brisal5, Locus cache and Honeysucker.
A big day with lots of cool caches to find.
Thanks

Mogni was back in town for the weekend so a GOTHS escapade to Victor was Planned. I was lucky enough to score a seat in the Gothmobile with both Aussie M & Ms and mogni. We were soon to be joined by Honeysucker and Locus Cache in Harry.
The harder it is..the better Mogni is. Another find for her. Thanks Spuddymoore. ] Does you email go into meltdown on weekends [?]

A recent trip to Victor alerted us to just how many caches there are down there, so a trip was planned for mogni, brisal5 and the Aussies. It was a magnificent 16hrs of sunshine (until sunset), laughter and adventure and at the end of the day we had around 80 finds, 2 FTFs and a handful of DNFs. For most of the day we had Locus and Honeysucker in tow, who added more fun and laughter to a great day out.
mogni was quickly on to this one. She really excelled on the Brickyard. TFTC spuddymoore.

I didn't think caches were supposed to be buried. Clue suggests this. Didn't have any luck.
Didn't find it on the first attempt as I checked only two trees.
On the way back, I stopped again on the off-chance I might find it.
The third tree was lucky.
Thanks for the cache Spuddymoore

This kept us busy for a bit, then we found it.... Hint didn't help as it was on the open so you may like to check it & replace as it should be, we hid it a bit better than it was though. TFTC

Today we had 7 finds and one DNF (needs archiving)
I introduced a new cacher who is keen to get on board
Second time looking for this one and we were just about to give up when the newbie proved his worth and came up with the goods.. Not where we expected though. Anyways, happy with the find, TFTC

Geocaching with Braveheart17 over the past few months in the Fleurieu area. Only just logging them all now, sorry. Love the hides and the adventures, thanks to all for the hunts. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Found with Sully1 on our way to Victor Harbour for a couple of more days in this cache rich state.
This was a terrific trip with great weather and friendly welcoming cachers to meet and greet.
A huge variety of hides had us on our toes, and a huge thanks to all the local cachers who provided the fun for us. Thanks again spuddymoore, we did a lot of your hides today

Found with bogonghazy after Semiks Birthday Event at Normanville and heading to Victor Harbour on the way home. Thanks to spuddymoore for the cache.
After another very enjoyable evening celebrating Semik's birthday at the "gonna soak up the sun event" we again joined forces with maccamob and alansee to head out to Victor Harbour grabbing a few caches whilst taking in the great scenery of the area. Being on holidays and not wanting to do any work at all we had no reason to visit mitre 10 but we did enjoy finding the cache.
Thanks again for the cache.
Thanks again for the cache.
Found with Team Crackers and Maccamob on a day out to Victor Harbour. This was my second go at this one and thankfully David found it before long at all.
Found by Mary & David, in company with Team Crackers and Alansee, at 1118. With several teams looking, it did't take too long to find it. Our thanks to spuddymoore.
Lunch break, time to look for a quickie to knock another day off my Caching Calender.
This was handy and workmate & muggle, Jarred decided not to assist on this one, but he wasn't needed. Another day ticked.

Mr S went caching while Mrs S gave a presentation at the civic centre. A relatively quick find today, on the road that leads to a friends house. Container was not covered so was an easy find.
Thanks for the cache, spuddymore.

day out With Firesafe CP and Locus cache Having a lot of laughs and a good time

This was another case of a full on day caching!
I was out with the boys: firesafe, CP Wanderer and Honeysucker and had the luxury of driving a Prado with free diesel for the day, thanks to a friend of mine [^]
Somehow, though, Prado got interpreted as Tarago by our usually extremely competent navigator and so we mainly did urban caches rather than rural ones where the vehicle's potential could have been more full utilised but it was still a hugely fun day and all up I attempted to locus cache at 95 caches: 89 successfully and 6 DNFs
Thank you, gentlemen, for the company and laughs and huge congratulations to firesafe on his 10,000th cache [^] [^] .....which just happened to require a 23km fast run from Aldinga to Mt Compass for the FTF (and our 2nd FTF for the day [^] ). Belated congratulations to Honeysucker, too, for his 6,000th find [^]
Right along the Brickyard and we found this cache, too

Today I teamed up with Honeysucker, Locus Cache and CP Wanderer for a 16 hour caching day caching areas south of Adelaide finishing up in Victor Harbor around 2:30 am.
We hit around 100 caches on the day, even making 2 FTF runs (one in Aberfoyle Park from Hallet Cove and the other at Mt Compass from Aldinga). The second FTF coincided with my 10000 find.
Quick find and sign. TFTC.

Sorry spuddymoore for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks spuddymoore for placing this cache.
Out on a cache hunt this afternoon along the main drag between Mclaren Vale and Victor Harbour. Found the container barely covered by a stick. Still, no ones going to see it because it's out of the way among the bushes. TFTC spudymore.
Found by Hen Pest after nearly giving up.

We didnt like our chances after reading the recent logs but we had a look and BINGO!! TFTC
Had a look but no luck today. Seems to have had a "tidy up" in the local area so might have been removed.
Sad to say DNF.

Well we certainly needed our Barocca by the time we found this one. We were almost ready to give up when it came to light. Thank goodness for that! Thanks for this very well hidden cache.
Found at 1725 with Roostaman on our South Australia odyssey. This one really had us searching but thankfully the eagle eyed Mrs Fred discovered this sneaky little one.
Thanks spuddymore.

We got there first and then came the cycle riding Raw Fish Duke. Cache was found by yours trully.
This time the frog handed the cache to the King of Raw Fish. The favour was returned. The cache Gods were once more in balance.
