Didn't find, will try again another time if others happen to find it

On my belly with a torch searching any and every possible spot - nope. Surprised that the last person found it? I'd agree with the logs before that - it's AWOL.

13-Nov-17
Cool wee hiding spot, loads of webs but no spiders, tftc

02-Nov-17
Fourth DNF, and this is clearly missing. Raising an NM.

02-Nov-17
There are now four DNFs here, and the last found log (Elihyn, 6th August 2017) makes it clear that the cache has been removed and damaged.

The CO hasn't been active for about 5 years so it's unlikely that we'll see any response to a NM. Reviewer, please archive.

Looks like this is missing had a good look around and after reading last persons entry it looks like it's MIA

Luckily a nice reserve as the number of caches found = 0/2 Sad

06-Aug-17
Couldn't spot cache anywhere. Walking down the track I spotted the cache contents broken on the side of the track

24-Jun-17
The container is certainly a very bright yellow!

It took my boy and I a little while to find, but we got there in the end.
Contents a bit damp, but nothing major. Hid as I found.

24-Jun-17
Great hide! Really had me guessing where it might be as there were so many different spots. I laughed a bit at the "Infectious Substance" label on the side of the Cache!

15-Jun-17
Really cool reserve. Easy find when you read the clues. Need new paper.

26-May-17
At the GZ it was easy to understand the hint. Had the cache in hand quickly. TFTC

Had to use the caveman technique to open it. And 10 years later found a saturated log inside. Put some signed paper in.

05-Mar-17
Another cache where it pays to carefully read the hint! When we did the container was soon located but a bit of a challenge to open it up. TFTC.

#3472. Infoferret offered me a ride up to Levin today to attend the two events being held there. Both of us are working on the DGSC challenge and are doing the bulk find elective. So we decided to make the most of the late summer day and attempt to pick up 50+ additional caches each for the challenge. The problem was that after comparing maps, it seemed that a lot of caches I had done were needed by IF and vice versa. So meant we would probably need to visit at least 70 caches today as well as picking up a kitten to take back to Wellington at 8pm. So on to Queen St East. IF had already done all these caches so was cracking the whip as we raced down the street picking up cache after cache. This one required a short walk through the scenic reserve. I met up with IF who had parked at the other end of the walkway and before I had looked up the hint, IF pointed to where I needed to go. So nice easy find today and cache name soon became obvious. Signed log and replaced cache as found. Thanks for the cache. Cache 18 of 50.

Got stung by a bee and bitten by mossies on the way! But apart from that a good wee walk for 3 good caches. TFTC

18-Feb-17
Taking the opportunity to escape some of Wellington's drizzle for the day with a caching trip around the Levin Shannon, Foxton area with Yeetrees and Gonefishing. Thank you for the geocache.
Some maintenance undertaken on the cache to keep it in shape.

A great walk through the bush reserve, dominated mostly by tawa and kawakawa.A quick find and a good cache. TFTC!

05-Feb-17
TFTC. Getting stir crazy as I've not had transport for 3 weeks so hired a car for a day to do 'a bit of a numbers run'. A nice ramble through the woods led me to this one - you certainly can't miss the object in which it lurks! 432m towards the DGSC challenge if I decide to use it for that. TFTC.

Begins our holiday in NZ in Christchurch, we came from Italy to find our son who lives there for two years.
After ten days spent in the 'island of the south stopping at lakes in Dunedin in Oumaru and be returned to Chch, we decided to go north to the island with a flight to Wellington, the idea is to relax a few days between the sea and the beach course cache, unfortunately we will take four days of rain and wind, impossible to take to the beach.
But we'll make with the cache.
They expect historical cache but especially the GC46 one of the few positioned in May 2000 still alive, among other things, the oldest of NZ.
After the historical cache on the dunes we move into town to other caches
Greetings from Italy
Saluti dall'Italia

Came here some time ago with Team Geocacher Mr. T and had no luck. Today, we had a bit of guidance from Taybee NZ and the cache was quickly found. Needed a "wet one" after handling this container (it needs a bit of attention). Log book was OK though. Tftc.

27-Dec-16
Log is wet so I couldn't sign it... Beautiful walk!

02-Dec-16
Heading down to Mana Island to find some caches and I had a bit of time to do some extras on the way. I love a good bush walk, but didnt have time to do the full loop today.
Cache was found quickly, but is soaking wet inside. luckily the log itself was dry thanks to being double bagged, but I decided not to drop any TBs here due to the wetness, even though it was a good sized container. TFTC.

19-Oct-16
Heading towards the Mega. Thought it would be impolite not to grab a few on the way through. Thanks all for the hides.

16-Oct-16
Logged with GCDroid. What a great reserve. Couple of older male muggles met at the same entrance as I parked up by but clear of the boggy ground. Let them take off and made sure they were well ahead of me. Loved the Tui calling each other while walking to the cache. Found the gz an interesting location and loved the container.

09-Oct-16
Nice spot. Quick find. All good and dry. TFTC

07-Oct-16
GPS had us going round in circles but despite a good search we could not find the cache. Oh dear.

01-Oct-16

As I didn't have time last time I was over here thought why not make the quick grab today, didnt take long only one other walker on the track, ground wet and muddy in places, but lovely all the same. tftc

Thank you. David.

This was a lovely walk to this cache was a damp but good track all good for all ages to use. I found it hard to open the cache but got there in the end I replaced log and plastic bag and placed it in a pill bottle as log was unreadable and damp. I really enjoyed this reserve thank you for bringing me here and giving me a bit of exercise for the day.

14-Aug-16
Cache is looking a bit worse for wear. Thank you to whoever put a new log sheet in! Found easily. Thank you!

14-Jul-16
Found it but it needs a new log as the current one is very wet

07-Jun-16
Decided on a bit of geocaching down this way today to take advantage of the good weather before it deteriorates again.
We had previously done a couple of caches here. This one had been on our 'to do' list for a long time but we'd never quite made it. Although still cool and damp in the bush, it was a very pleasant walk through on this fine winter day. The hint spot was quickly located and the cache found. The log is rather damp and getting a bit tatty, so we signed on the piece of paper left by the last finders. The cache was then returned to its lair.
Upon return to the parking area we enjoyed morning tea in the sun at one of the picnic tables. Thanks for bringing us here again ss girl.

Decided to go for a family outing on this beautiful, sunny Queen's birthday weekend and check out some walks in the area around Levin. We (Godispojken and I) spotted this nice little reserve and decided to try out the tracks. Great hiding place for this large cache! TFTC

A nice walkway here to get to gz we spent quite some time searching for the cache. An easy find once u get to the right spot. Didn't expect to have to explore so far off the track. Tftc

What a cool wooden den and it is certainly inhabited by lots of creepy crawlys! We had a quick scout around with our eyes...too scared to move anything incase a bug ran out but didn't find anything. Mum widened the search and there is was - bright yellow alright! Took us quite a while to open but we got there! Thanks fro bringing us on this nice walk today!

A quick run in to the cache.
When I got there, it looked like there were a lot of potential hiding spots, but I soon found the cache.
Nice hide.
Thanks.

Found with Jesso22 while on a day off work out caching. I was too scared to get too close- even with my huge stick I found but luckily Jess was braver than me and quickly had the cache in hand. After a lot of work trying to get the lid off- even after reading the instructions on the top we finally managed to sign the log.
Thanks for the cache

AtomsNZ and I decided to take Monday off for a girl's day out and go caching. Made our way South from Palmerston North picking whichever caches took our fancy along the way. Ended up getting 40 in total, that's a new personal best for me. Found some really good caches today, a fair few nice big containers, couple of multis and a few good walks, great girl's day!

Man I was almost wearing a mask made out of cobwebs after this walk. This cache wasn't as scary as I was expecting after the description. AtomsNZ had a quick attempt before discovering she didn't want to put her hands anywhere near there, so I had a poke around with a stick and found the cache hiding in a not too scary spot. Thanks for the cache.

#261. Third find on a nice walk through the bush. Fantastic old trees and lots of possible cache hideyholes. GPS had us searching a few spots - lots of wooden dens - but the most obvious one turned out to hold the treasure. It wasn't long before something caught my eye. Tftc!

Heading southward after overnighting in PN.
Haven't been in here before. A pleasant walk. Straightforward find on the cache.
Cache in order; log signed - once I'd figured the child-proof top (oh duh!), cache safely re-hidden, just as found.

THREE OF US HAD PLANNED A DAY OUT GEOCACHING IN THE HOROWHENUA AREA TODAY. ALAS, ONE OF THE PARTY MEMBERS HAD A LATE WITHDRAWAL, SO THERE WAS JUST TWO OF US. IT WAS A GREAT DAY IN THE END. THE WEATHER WAS HOT, WE EVEN HAD A FEW SPOTS OF RAIN TRYING TO COOL US DOWN AT ONE STAGE. I ENDED UP FINDING ABOUT 45 CACHES WITH ONE DNF.
THIS CACHE WAS AN EASY FIND WITH HELP FROM THE HINT. THE HARDEST PART WAS TRYING TO GET THE LID OFF. NICE LITTLE BUSH WALK HERE. I HAVE PUT MY LOG IN CAPITALS FOR THE CO'S PLEASURE.
THANKS FOR THE CACHE AND THE SMILEY. FOUND WITH TOMMYGUN9.

Easy find. Nice hide. Great walk area. Had to hide as muggles turned up on discovery. Luckily there were great places not to be seen. TFTC.

Working in Levin and caching after work.

Had quickly gone back to motel to change into caching clothes and headed out with a plan to attach Levin's caches on my last night.

Had done a couple of other caches in this reserve so was easy to walk to this one to finish the reserve off.

was very well worth the extra walk.

Loved the container even though it did take me longer than it should have to find!

Get a favourite from me.

A road trip with tommygun9 was decided for today so we set off from work at lunchtime for a trip down the line to Levin in a truly dreary, wet and damp winters day.
Into the last few finds for the day now and after initially passing the hiding place I backtracked and seized the prize
A nice little bush reserve and the hide deserves an FP

While I was off searching one possible area and turning on my phone's torch I heard a "got it" from quite a while away as Capperz extracted the cache. It was getting quite dark by this point and the day's mission was soon to be over.

20-May-14
This is my second attempt in a week to find this cache. There is signs of recent clean up activity and I suspect this cache may have been muggled. May need to be checked by the owner.

20-May-14
Possibly been muggled lots of clean up work done after recent storm and area shows signs of very high activity. Can't find cache and GPS said I was right on top of it. May need to be checked.

20-May-14
Wasn't going to be defeated so went back and had another look.
Bingo. Found it about 20 metres from GPS location. Looks like someone on a maintenance crew has moved it slightly, I put back where it looked like it should've been.

This one's been on the "to do list" for a while now.
GPS was very unhappy here. As a result we walked straight past it the first time, & did the loop before we could get coverage back again. GPS got within 15mts on the second lap, so found it quite quickly.
Not many yellow trades here, so left the yellowest pet rock we have - a bee. TFTC

Thank you for taking me even further into this Reserve. After completing the 'Waiopehu Reserve Walkway' cache it was fantastic to continue deeper into this Reserve to grab another cache. Nearing GZ there was a lovely, sweet smell that I wish I could've bottled - it smelt divine.

Thank you for taking me to this beautiful place.
