Add me to the list of unsuccessful hunters. There was a bush on either side. One was small and well trimmed and where my gps indicated the cache should be, no where now to hide a cache. The other was bigger, plenty of low hanging branches. I couldn't see anything there either but couldn't get close enough to the trunk to give it a proper check.
Should have been an easy find, however the garden/ tree has been recently tidied and think the cache has been taken away.
Did not find, recent work been done on the holly tree... and think the cache was cleared away as well.
Easy find but hard to do unnoticed as it looked like the locals were turing up for a working bee!!
Great place for a cache. I really love old buildings like this that once were thriving places and now forgotten about and if it wasn't for locals and cachers these places wouldn't very often be seen. I have created a series called buildings of the past that is for caches placed at places like this one. Amazing place and I am sure it could tell some stories. Thanks for bringing me here. Cache is good. Picked up TB. Tftc
On a cashing weekend in South Canterbury with my sister NZ Bozzy

Cheers for the cache.
heading around the district at random taking the old folks out for a country drive on this wet and chilly morning... managed to drive past gz in deep conversation with Mr muggle father... quick u at the intersection and back to the clear and evident hiding place that left my skin crawling after past " interactions" with the same... used the Old Mrs muggle mums walking stick to locate the cache only figure out there was another far easier way to locate it.. and as it happened 81 year old mum was in the vicinity showing keen interest so gave her cache grabbing instructions.. followed by log signing think she would have been a great cacher .. shame it wasn't around 20 years or so go when she was more mobile!
Set out with Schnitzel04. I was looking in the wrong spot but Schnitzel04 found it. TFTC.
I felt like exploring some back roads today, so this was perfect! And not even too prickly, especially considering the hint. TFTC!!

4998. On a four day geocaching tour around Mid-Canterbury and South Canterbury to get our 5000th cache. This was our thirteenth cache find of the third day. Weather was misty and drizzly this morning but fortunately cleared up quite soon and it was now a nice warm day. Had the area to ourselves and it was a very quick find. Thanks, Rodney and Iris.
Easy find with couple minutes of searching. Out with rattusbaggus caching. Dropped USA coin. TFTC
A quick find while exploring in the area today. Nice old hall and it looks fairly well maintained. Signed log, TFTC!
Ah - that side, makes it easier.

Sat in the car and swore at Bitsprayer before hubby bravely retrieved the cache. Damn holly.
Fine day,had to wait for a slow Cyclist to pass, then got scratched finding the Cache, but not to bad.TFTC
What a well kept hall, the locals evidently take some pride in it. That impressed I returned twice!

Last of the mini-power-trail of FTFs kindly placed by bitsprayer. Managed to just fit them in and dash to Timaru for coffee with another cacher. Most enjoyable, and thanks for the diversion! Cheers Gav [10493/FTF]
Continue FTF mission, but another 4th. Tally 2 3rds and 2 4ths, far too slow off mark.
Thanks for these new caches
