We could not find the cache, we looked all around. Will be back to try to find it again.
We needed to go to Mount Tamborine today to collect a junior from camp so we decided to take the opportunity to cache our way there. After finding one target cache, we stopped to collect anything else we passed along the way. I attempted to use my phone camera so that my fingers didnt accidentally encounter any creepy crawlies but there was too much glare on the screen. I decided I had to be brave and stuck my fingers where I couldnt see and lo and behold discovered the cache. Thanks KezzBear
11/2/2024 Find #6829A day out and about with KezzBear and KBreeAHH on a bit of a maintenance check for KezzBear before she ups and leaves us for a new life of adventure. The day was filled with fun, food and memories but with a tinge of sadness too knowing this would definitely be our last adventure together for some time. While KezzBear and KBreeAHH staoinnthe car, I hopped out and began my search. I had a good idea where I thought the cache would be and it turns out my idea was correct and I was soon signing the log. Thanks for the cache KezzBear.
Hoping this cache to be a quick park-and-grab, it somewhat was in the end. A nice hiding spot, and I just hope that another Geocacher doesnt try to stick it too far inside. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [KezzBear](https://coord.info/PR3RM5R) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, the plan was for a walk in Denham Scenic Reserve (Denham Falls, Lip Falls) to host a [Gins Lips Saunter and Swim](https://coord.info/GCAH49F) event at the bottom of the creek/gorge. Despite having visited this area only 1.5 months ago, I had a couple of geocaches that I had trouble finding, and it was a lovely area to visit nevertheless. Despite concerning weather forecasts of rain, it could not have been any better, with dry conditions and the heat starting to set in by the time we finished our hike.It was then a slow and long way home meandering past towns and areas finding geocaches in less-visited areas. Highlights included Lower Beechmont Conservation Area (Freeman's Lookout and the lower elevation area adjacent to Clagiraba Road), Mount Tamborine, and Oxenford. It was interesting to see the widespread tree debris in the vicinity from the "mini-cyclone" / strong winds that impacted the Gold Coast from two weeks ago, and largely cleaned up.
Fun cache, we had the wrong ideas at the start but quickly realised where it had to be
Looked in all the hidey holes with no luck
Then realised it was in plain sight. So easy.

GC may have gone walkabout, have messaged owner to check, or maybe I'm just not experienced enough, only started a few weeks ago
I liked this one. Used my phone to take a photo before putting my hand in.
Be brave! If you have small hands and are brave, you should find it. Found with BrisAvon. TFTC
Not my favourite kind of cache poking fingers into holes ️ dodging ️ but once we had the right hole cache was easy to find . The log was full however there was a space in slot 21 so I used that to leave out names and move on.

After being stung by something a couple of weeks ago, I have become a little more reluctant to stick my fingers in dark places and grope around.
After walking around and considering my options, I narrowed it down to 2 spots and then stuck my fingers in anyway. The second one was the one I wanted.

The three of us were here on holiday, and stopped on the way up the mountain to look for this one.
We found this one after a short search.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache bristracker & SaintsMadHouse.

Nice and easy i took the hint as a challenge but my dad found it and i decided it wasn't worth the pain of concrete to face lots of fun tftc
Much anxiety feeling around for this one. Luckily Gorjess516 was far gamer than me! Also found with Sarahe28. TFTC
Good stop to give the car brakes a moment of rest after coming down the mountain. Fingers passed over it a few times before I made the grab. TFTC. Found w Sarah and Rach on her birthday.
Tftc SaintsMadHouse , we had a great day out today, driving around . After a big day yesterday. The scenery here is pretty special. Thanks for bringing us here.
Took a while before this one was located, all good here. Tucked it back away as found.

Was a little scared to be poking my fingers around, but we found after a few tentative pokes
We found it but the first time we felt it we thought it was just apart of the shelter thing

I’m enroute to nerang for a particular cache and had a bit of time to stop and pick up a few extras.
I had a suspicion of the hiding spot but couldn’t feel anything so moved on.
When all my other spots came up empty I came back to the first one and tried again and managed to get the right angle and felt a familiar container. Tftc

I headed down the coast with The Green Geckos and Muggle65. We had three caches as target today then added 6 more. I found 16 today and unfortunately 2 DNF.
We had a good day.
Sorry for the generic log

Our intrepid trio are hunting today around Tambourine & amongst our designated walk we are seeking an attribute challenge for May. So that’s why we are here.
Found it good spot at the bus stop found something and put something else in there.
On our day out in the hinterland area of the Gold Coast in the good company of Tenkae and Que Sera, we made this find. For a country road, it seems quite busy! Everything is very green around here at the moment due to recent rains and looks so lush.
Thanks bristracker and SaintsMadHouse

Nice easy find, thankyou! Didn’t bring a pen, but will be back to sign for sure
Easy find, second time here and I have finally found it, also the magnetic has broken so it's just sitting there
A plan of grab a bunch of caches on the gold coast was our aim for today, however things never really pan out the way you plan sometimes. We made a list and added a few target caches, then added a few as we passed by, this one made it to the list as we attended to another close by.
A fun find and a nice view along the way and with the log signed and the cache replaced as found we were back to the list for today. Thanks for placing this one here.

Heading up to Mt Tambourine we used this cache location to mark which road we wanted to use going up! The sun had just come out after some morning rain and we were able to make the find without discovering any cobwebs. TFTC.
I was going coastal today
And along the way,
I stopped here
Wrong time of day for a bus to turn up,
so plenty of parking available
Some poking revealed some likely hiding places.
But it took two checks of each spot before I felt the cache
I retreated to the geomobile for a TOTT,
'cos someone had shoved the cach in too far !!
More fun I'spose

Found it! And added a little surprise in there for the next person game enough to put their fingers where the sun doesn’t shine ️hehe
It still surprises me where I am willing to stick my fingers in search of a geocache... at least I still react when I hit something “squishy”... tftc...
This was so much fun! I spent probably 15 minutes looking for it but it was a very busy road!
Checked this and it is there, I have edited some listing details to reflect the position with this new bus shelter.
Sadly i think the csche may be missing as should be easy to find an eclipse tin in this shelter.
Found with Giraffe 18 on our day of driving looking for caches and rocks. Thanks for the cache.
Quick find in the late afternoon, heading back up to Tamborine thanks for this cache.
Thank you! We hunted for this cache with 3 very excited boys. This was our very first find!
