Found on my way to an earth cache. It's a clever hide never seen one quite like it. Thanks.
Our first Queensland cache! We are staying in Caloundra for a couple of nights before we head to Lake Somerset to tackle the Dark side of the cache series. Beautiful weather and scenery, but that sign had me a little concerned for a while.A great cache to start the day.Cheers Wesso Family.

Today GreenGecko1, Muggle65 and I are heading up to the Sunshine Coast again today. The GreenGecko1 told me during the week she needed 11 caches up the coast to finish a Challenge. So here we go.Cache found and signed Wesso Family thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
In the area to complete an Adventure Lab and had to find this cache to see why it had so many .Certainly well deserved and it gets another one from me. TFTC
A last little adventure before da Bush Family says goodbye to Caloundra. I was a bit surprised to see this large warning sign, maybe we shouldn't be exploring here.
We stopped for this one on our way to the earth cache. Cool hiding spot and cool container!
Cache number 3 for the morning. Interesting arriving at this pathway with a giant sign saying look out for unexploded explosives in the area. At GZ, I walked past and discounted the cache sight first. Retrieved and signed. TFTC, find #1405
After a quiet Friday night, we headed out early from Brisbane with Alexander headlands as our target. Friends have a lovely apartment and we are up for a few drinks and dinner at the surf club.So with a bit of time before catching up, we stopped for a quick cache and to close out a nearby adventure lab.It didnt take long to get to ground zero and find the prize and write the log.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to foundCheers
Found today with geoson. Very cool and creative hide. Incredibly creative container too.Geoson says its the best hes ever found so fav from us.A fun adventure near some beautiful views. If it wasnt for the hint, wed still be searching.TFTC!
An afternoon dip meant a chance to grab a highly favourited cache. Clever hide!! Thanks for placing and maintaining.
Wow! An appropriate use of nature to hide a great little cache. Thankyou.
Looks like the cache may have some contact with unexploded ordinance. Interesting cache. Thanks for the find.
I came to do the nearby EC but saw this one so had a quick hunt, after the Gps settled down I made the find and retrieved it from where it was hiding, log signed and returned as found, thanks for placing and

Up on the sunny coast visiting family ️️ we had been warned to expect bad weather for the first couple of days but as luck would have it, the skies have cleared and it's a lovely day. After being stuck in the car the last couple of days, GGCoconut, HJCoconut and I were keen to stretch our legs and get some fresh air so spent a leisurely day hanging out at some lovely spots along the coast and grabbing a couple of caches along the way.
Our first stop for the day was Crummunda Park. It's probably been about 10+ years since I've been here and I forgot what a nice little spot this is. We enjoyed a bit of a play on the equipment before strolling along the waterfront up towards this cache. Must say, it was very tempting to take a dip - the water looked very inviting. We'll have to come and do that before we head back.
At GZ I actually did spot what turned out to be the cache camo but totally dismissed it initially - didn't help that I'd slightly misinterpreted the hint eventually though, I thought 'I know *that's* not the cache but I'll just quickly check it anyway'. Could scarcely believe it when I realised it was in fact the cache! Definitely have never seen that before! Very unique and really had me fooled.
Well done and thank you Wesso Family!

A day of caching fun with Beardman75 concentrating on the Howzat & Fab Four Puzzles plus a couple of trads that I tortured BM75 with…
I found something in the location matching the hint, but BM75 said there should be more to it…
Looking about I found another couple of pieces to the container… so after putting all back together I returned it so it matched the hint…
Thanks Wesso Family

A very cool and unique cache! A favourite for me! Thanks for the creative hide!
I was already having to travel to the Sunshine Coast for work for the coming week so I decided to head up a day early with my wife and pick up a few caches along the way.
After disturbing a family of bush turkeys on my way to GZ the cache was quickly spotted tuck away in its hide. Then came the intelligence test of trying to open the container to access the logbook. This was failed dismally as I poked, prodded and twisted to no avail. The penny eventually dropped with a thud, with an accompanying face-palm for missing the now obvious. After signing the log I took the container over to my wife who remained back on the path. She too failed the test, repeating my exact same motions to no effect. Made me feel a little better at least. This one was nice & easy amongst the dense groups of trees, spotted this one first & signed us into the log
Rode the bikes down the coastal track to find this one. Looked in a couple of places before finding. Liked the container and a nice new log.

Looking at a house on this street. Grab this one. Got mulybhands dirty. It was this third tree I looked in.
Found this one nice and quick. Handled with care and placed back exactly as found. Was expecting it to be harder as we had just come away from two way bridge (2) and spent 40 minutes searching there to log a DNF. Haven't been to this side of currimundi before. Thanks for cache placement and a first cache container of this kind for us.
Well that was Mrs Riddells top find for the day!
A fav point for sure coming your way.
Mrs Riddell didn’t know quite what to do with it when she found it but knew it was the prize.
She was gob snaked and soon had it opened, signed and snugly put away again.
The co ords were very ordinary and she surveyed all the paper barks… even managed to climb a few until one broke and sent her to the ground! So it was also her most deadly fit the day too!
But she absolutely loved it!

Out with fng_affl, locating caches for our dates hidden challenge, along with hides which are close by, did have to crawl through a fence to get to GZ, but cache was in hand by time I got there, so signed and replaced as found, wet wet wet, with another sheet in a baggie, thanks for the hide, Wesso family
Wesso Family I found your cache Currimundi Lake on 31/3/2022, 9:15 am. This is my find 3355 and find # 1 today. Had a search around, eventually found it. Not what I was expecting. Nice camouflage. Favourite from me. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out today to keep some caches to help with my "Hidden Dates" challenge.
This is cache 10 for the day.
Left the car where it was and walked down the path to the next spot. Okay, again had to figure out to get in here.
Got it, and looked at the cache. Log is completely drenched. Signed the piece of extra paper in the plastic bag. This looks to be missing a lid to the cache.
Now has our names in it.
Thanks for the cache!

Alycem89 and myself ventured out for a few hours to grab a few caches on the stunning Sunny Coast and what a day to do it because it was a beautiful warm day to do some exploring.
Very very sneaky! Almost dismissed this but after closer inspection it was what we were after. Unsure what the hint meant as we were looking for something completely different.
Thanks for bringing us here.

A plan was set for today to try to complete as many of the sunshine coast caches as possible with a target of 140 (my target). Todays little group was Willis007, Esmiley, newcomer Duppers and myself. We meet at the arranged meeting point; we worked out where we were going and had a plan for the day. It was a little slow start but once all the formalities were done it was all systems go. The day was a lot of fun, with laughs, the usual banter and some nice walks. The plan changed a little as we went, we got a third of our targets, which I was happy with, as it was a big ask considering the caches were doing. We had a few DNF’s which took up a lot of time, a couple of multis that had us stuck for a checker tick. We were lucky to have Esmiley along who had completed a few of the caches and gave us some insight.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the caches and some fun hides and to my caching buddies for the day. We signed all logs and replaced containers as we found them.
Having been here before and had no luck, today we were quietly confident as we had a secret weapon. While we looked around again the shout came out “it’s over here”. OMG, there is no way I would have found that as a cache. Nicely done and a nice hide, adding a favourite point for this one.
All good with this cache and now it is onto the next one.

E_Smiley and Just a Trifle had already found this one, but with so many favourites in its honour, we felt we could not possibly drive-by without at least having a check.
It took some searching, and eventually there it was.
Well, in that case I think we should add another FP to its illustrious connection.
Thanks Wesso Family. Nice one!

A lovely walk around Currimundi Lake today with lots of bird life and wildflowers. At gz, there was a cool looking stump so spent about 10 minutes looking for the cache around here but the gps was bouncing a bit so no luck. Decided to PAF who told me what I should be looking for and there it was, sitting in the open a couple of metres away. Signed log and hid it in an obvious hidey hole next to where I found it as I was worried it would go missing otherwise. Tftc
I found it! Today I came to avenge quite a few DNFs, and this was one of them. Thanks to a hint from a caching buddy, I had a rough idea of what to look for, and it wasn't too long before I found something suspicious. A bit of fiddling and the cache was in hand. Very sneaky, worth a FP from me wesso family!
My DNF doesn’t mean the cache is missing, it just means that I ran out of patience and probably overthought it.

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to Caloundra to attend the community celebration event. After the dismal rainy weather in the morning and attending St Lucia parkrun, we departed in the late morning to arrive, which was hampered by highway congestion. After the event, we explored the area and did a few coastal walks between rain showers, and then followed the *Discover Caloundra* Adventure Lab. A nice area with great beaches and interesting history, that I'm sure we will return to in the upcoming months again.
This was a targeted geocache due to the high Favourite Points (FPs) awarded, with 68 FPs at the time of this log.
We parked nearby, and walked to GZ along the edge of the lake. There was an ivy thorny plant that grabbed me, as I misread its ability to allow me through, thereby scratching my shoulders and face. Nevertheless, we continued to search around, and I spotted a hide technique that I had seen before back in South Australia. Sure enough, it yielded an object of interest, and upon further examination, I soon found the inner cache. This was certainly something different that I had not seen before. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Wesso Family for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Some nice views of the lake nearby.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.
