Could just be me, but DNF. Reluctant to walk on sand also reluctant to walk away.
A great day out after another covid lockdown.
We left our residence just after 0800 hours with a nice sunny looking day and took a scenic drive around the Flinders Ranges, heading from Port Augusta to Quorn, then north to Hawker, and south to Jamestown returning home around 2200 hours in the middle of a good rain downpour
Thank You for bringing us to these Caches and to see more again soon

There are many corners in this arid land garden and every one you go around brings a new view.
Team TiddlyPop have been exploring the gardens all day, birdwatching, eating and touring. These award-winning gardens are fascinating and very beautiful. So much hard work by volunteers and staff (over decades) have gone into this loving and special creation. The diversity of plants here is incredible. Please support the gardens by visiting - they are partially, but not wholly funded by local council. The ice-cream sampler is a must! TFTC.
Passing through on the way to OD. Although jcody is the family gardener and I'm a bit clueless in this department, it is still an interesting place to visit.
Off for a northern tour with Purrfect Di and Jack...
somehow we ended up at your cache ! ! !
Quickly spotted by Di who was closer to the cache
Nice views all around.
Thank you Dazzatron for another cool yellow smiley on our SA geomap

Keep away from the nasty bugs ( except travel bugs of course )
- keep a distance from people as much as you can, they spread the nasty bugs! [:o)]
- go out and find or place some new caches in our regional areas where it's safer away from bugs!!

Very easy hiding spot , Which was good because it was bloody hot out in the sun but what a spectacular place to visit thank you very much for hiding it ....I would love to have seen a snake while we were here...
Found on a cool, rainy day. What a difference to the hot day yesterday. Cache is in excellent condition and dry as a chip. Grabbed Cache Fighter, and Geowoodstock Denver TBs. Dropped OZ Geomuster, Blue Dragon, Mosquitos Suck, and Ducktails Huey TBs. Happy travels! TFTC and bringing me to a lovely, rugged place. Now to move these TBs along.
Day 2 of our Eyre Peninsula caravan odyssey with the geo-pup, Pt Augusta to Whyalla.
Found at a corner post, not the one we expected! Added new log, dropped TB.

Nice little cache in a nice little spot! First time seeing a Sturt desert pea in real life! Left a few stickers and a trackable in the cache
Cycled out to the Arid Lands Botanical Gardens along the Coastal Path and up to this very nice little viewing hut. A quick find - left a lucky Chinese Year of the Dog Heart token. Log book is full so signed a few pages back where there was some space. TFTC at the Hut with a View.
There was no one around when I pulled into the parking lot for this piece of desert sanctuary.
I parked my bike under the only bit of shade I could find and walked down the wooden boardwalk to find the cache.
Out at the end of the walkway, there was a covered shelter, overlooking the desert environment. I stood there and looked out across the arid landscape, completely alien from what I see back home.
Found the cache, after a quick search.
Thanks for the find.

An amazing adventure! While we were reading about the importance of water for all wildlife and the strategies to survive in arid climate, a thunderstorm occured (and we got wet, although we waited under the roof). Crazy... - TFTC
Great spot whoever put the candle in there it went everywhere I put it the bin and added 3 toys

Spending the night in Port Augusta so wanted to find at least one cache. A LOT of flies out today! Found the cache lying out in the open, not sure where it’s meant to be so placed it tucked under the boardwalk anyway. TFTC
While husband is working wifey can play.
TFTC after seeing some local wildlife I was very careful!

Found passing through Port Augusta heading on to Port Germein for the night. In week 5 of our 5 week outback adventure, heading home to NSW. TFTC
Had fun looking for this one, while trying to not let anyone else around know what we were upto... Absolutely love the view also!
44 degrees but it’s dry heat so just bearable for me to find but too hot for pooch
This mornings heat brought out the smell of the Australian bush as I walked along the boardwalk. TFTC
Dropped off "Australian State Landmarks Geocaching Logo Travel Tag" that wants to go to the Flinders Ranges. This is as close as we'll be going on this trip.
Dropped off ""Dir Mowas, Egypt" Unite for Diabetes Travel Bug" that wants to go to the Flinders Ranges. This is as close as we'll be going on this trip.
Eye Spied, Eye found, Eye logged, Eye trinket swapped, cache replaced in hiding spot. TFTC!
Quick find on my way home from the mine..! Cheers

This was the first cache I was ever shown. Some years later I have come back to log it myself. Thanks
Visited this cache to drop off a trackable. High tourist area so it may not stay here for long.
Heading up north. Didn't stop this time for the Arid Lands Centre, which is worth a visit, as I still had a long way to go. The break was good though!
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache Dazzatron.
best wishes,
Wal

Work's done and dusted for the week which means a free afternoon for caching - the target was to travel Yorkeys Crossing and find caches along the way. Great views and playing dodgem with trucks made the day.
I was watching the GPS for caches on the other side of the road looking for a way in when the arrow switched around to this cache. Great views from this platform. A few muggle names are in the log book - I've stuck the cache a bit further under the boardwalk.
Thanks for bringing me here Dazzatron.

Thought we'd leave a bit of a breadcrumb trail as we headed north on our annual outback trip .
Stopped here to stretch our legs and crane our necks .
TNLNSL.
Thanks Dazzatron.

Drove in to have a look around. Nice lookout.. Thought.. hmmm that looks like a spot someone would hide a geocache. Reached in and retrieved it!
Ho ho!

Another top spot, have enjoyed our tour of the gardens and some bush flavoured ice creams. Easy find in an obvious spot.
Upside down on the ground Bahahaha our morning has turned to hysterical laughing as we grab this cache. Trying to laugh quietly so we don’t disturb the nearby birders.
Traveling on a Central Australia adventure with the awesome K8tybee. On the hunt for as many australian counties as we can get! (And hoping to make it across the Simpson Desert this time). Thanks to everyone who keeps these awesome caches maintained. Such a brilliant trip. Tftc
