We have just been notified by a geocacher that this cache might not be at GZ as many trees have been removed near GZ.
So we'll disable this for now and check on it as soon as we can.
Cheers and happy caching!

Second of nine finds today. A lovely drive between this set of caches. TFTC
We were headed up to Mt Tamborine for a catch up with friends . Afterwards I was keen to do some geocaching . I picked a road I don’t often travel down and found my way here. I’ve been on this street before and forgot I wasn’t going to come back despite a green dot and worse a blue frowny due to the freakily steep ascent ! . On the way up I overshot it, so parked on the way down. A nifty find with stunning views . Glad to get this green dot converted to a smile . Tftc!
Love the cache . Love the view.Thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy.
On a bit of a mission from the sunny coast to take advantage of this beautiful weather and thought id do a trip to Tamborine Mountain considering I don't remember the last time I visited...
Not having a plan in place besides for doing the first search coming of the motorway this one came up..
Taking a detour off the main road, I ventured up this very steep slope..
This was a super quick find with nice views..
Thanks for showing me this section of the Goldie!

Woot! Couldn't find this one last time as it was getting dark. Great lil spot cheers
Wonderful views up here, thanks for bringing me on this detour from the road to Tamborine. Clever hide too.
TFTC!

This was a lovely drive to get to the cache and an area I have always been meaning to visit. Thanks Aussie Liahona for yet another good hide and TFTC
Well this is a road that I had never traveled before, and I was glad I did as it was well worth the drive. The views here are great, and it was an enjoyable time winding around the curves as I made my way up the hill. Topped with the fun hide, this one is a favourite. I took a photo, although it doesn't do the view justice.
Thanks to Aussie Liahona for the cache and for bringing me to see the stunning view.

Out with stortigirls, working on her unique 25 D/T in a day challenge. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
An epic day of caching today, trying to achieve the 25 DT challenge. Accompanied by Selva Girls who agreed to be my driver and cheer squad for the day, we cached from dawn to dusk. The very clever hide was found here after a short search and our names added to the log. Tftc Aussie Liahona!
The hint certainly helped with this cache. It didn't take long until the sneaky beasty was in hand. Love the container. ViKoCZ and myself signed the log and then replaced as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona

#4176 [15:52] short stop on our way. just before i've started searching for the cache, nyssa had it in her hands. well done, thanks for this cache!
This almost became a slow find but with 5 people looking it didn't take that long. Tftc found with fgill_26 and beckaden
The Bromance were out today for a day of caching around Tamborine Mountain. An early morning start saw Swellerfungus and I rendezvous with Crookedpete at the bottom of the mountain just before sun up. After few cache finds on the way up and a couple of long walks while up at the top it was time to head on down the mountain, of course grabbing some more along the way. A nice view on offer up here, which was enjoyed for a moment before locating the cache and continuing the homeward journey. TFTC
A few easier caches on the legs after a longer walk today led us to this one. As we approached, CrookedPete noted he had been here before. cSure enough he pulled up close to the cache, and after a quick search SNJ had the cache in hand. He then let me search for it until the find was made several hours later!. Thanks fro the cache AL!

Came by to check about two caches being here. Two of us looking but we could only find one and it's the orginal one that went missing. We would have removed the extra cache that is reported to be here but we couldn't find it, lol. Sign whatever log you find.
Cheers and happy caching........

Well we found two under the same cache name about one arms length apart. Very confusing. TFTC x2
Arriving at GZ we did a pretty thorough search . It was on the second look that MrScatts spotted it . TFTC
After completing "How hard can it be?", IolantheK and I collected a couple of caches on the way to the event on the Gold Coast.
Took a while to find. For a while I thought that a recently fallen tree was the caches home but in the end that was just a ruse for the caches real home

After a few adventures with teamdfl, Brother Colin, barbbowman, FastEd59, bubba89 and Slammer1989 this morning, I've caught up with T-Tech again, and we are grabbing a few caches that the others have already done, on our way to an Event on the Gold Cast this afternoon.
Quite a bit of searching had to happen here, and in the end T-Tech made the find after he cleared a couple of fallen branches out of the way. TFTC, Aussie Liahona.

Checked on this one. Replaced the seal and then decided to change the container and it's hiding spot. Where it had been is closing over. Still at GZ though.
Happy caching............

Driving down the hill from the Hinterland Round up this afternoon and the promise of a great view along with an interesting DT made a stop here compulsory.
The view lived up to its promise and the cache was soon found. By chance, I happened upon and met the CO at my next cache. Many thanks, Aussie Liahona

I quickly figured out where I needed to be and started searching for the cache. I didn't see what I was looking for but something else caught my eye and I quickly had the log in hand and signed.
As we drove up and up the road towards this one we noticed that there were people working on the road VERY close by, we wondered how we we would go with finding this one, and how stealthy we could be. We all got out of our cars and I don't think we were very stealthy! Not with our 3 cars and 8 people in the same place crowding around just near the edge of the road! It was a nice easy find by Team Benders though, so that helped. Once that was all done we turned around to the other side and discovered the fantastic view! WOW! Great place to get people to stop and look. TFTC!
Out geocaching with geoson & friends today. Great day with plenty of laughs & finds. Thanks for a fun filled day. Beautiful area on the northern Gold Coast. TFTC
Early start for our unique difficulty terrain challenge day of 25 caches and this was the seventeenth one today.
Out with a great bunch of geocachers.
Wow what a view of the coast.
Parked near GZ and headed in.
I made the find on this cache.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Aussie Liahona All good with this cache

An opportunity to complete a D/T challenge in the Coomera area with RoddyC, Team Benders, King-fisher8, Jackxena62 and Sezzz.
A quick stop off here on the way to the top of the road. The views were amazing too. Sharp eyes by Team Benders. TFTC Aussie Liahona

Today is our day for completing the D/T 25 Unique challenge, and our group consisted of Team Benders, King-fisher8, jackxena62, Sezzz and NurseyJulie, along with Mrs and Mrs RoddyC.
Getting closer now to the biggie of the day, it was up the steep road to GZ. There were muggles in the area - a lawn-mowing tractor on one side of the road, and an excavator-type machine on the other clearing trees. Oh no! Not taking our trees away - the hint says something about an arms length away from the concrete! That's not far!
But all is well. The workers weren't really interested in what we were doing - more in packing machinery up and moving on. Funny how some workers love to finish early - it's not even 1.30pm! Maybe I judge too harshly and they have to get to another job (On a Saturday!)
Its strange how cacher-eyes seem to turn themselves off and on randomly. Some were looking far from the mark, while another had her time with caching eyes turned on. So the small cache was located for the ritual sign-on.
No 17 of 25. Found at 1.25 pm on 16th May 2015. TFTC.

Out for a great afternoon of caching and checking out the views and scenery. All caches are well kept. TFTC Aussie Liahona.
I pulled up and clearly there was another cacher here. Decisions, decisions. I have decided to give them their privacy thing and I have pulled out the esky, poured a glass of water and wandered to the other side of the road to look at the view. They quickly leave and I go in for the kill. Thank you for the nice easy cache and the superb view.
That's a seriously steep hill! We arrived at GZ to trees, rain and fog. There would be some great views if all of the above hadn't been blocking it......all the more reason to come back another time. TFTC Aussie Liahona.
Found by lauren & daniel from geelong on a night of view seeking. Good spot. TFTC
Out on a cache day with gullivers and cantcacheus, log was signed and placed back to its hide tftc

cache find #2893. Today we are doing our d/t25 challenge with forbiddenground and cantcacheus2014. The cache was easily found, but we were all more interested in finding any beasties they may be lurking on the ground. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC.
Out with friends today to complete the D/T 25 challenge, we chose this cache as one for the chart. Found jointly with Gullivers Travells54 & Forbiddenground. Tftc
Visiting from UK. Staying with friends locally and they are geocachers so they are taking us to local places of interest to geocache so having a good time. Nice cache. TFTC
Spotted the Silver Bison and stood back to let Mrs Flag keep searching. Unfortunately she lost her glasses while clambering about, so if anyone finds them please drop us a line. Good spot, we were amazed at the volume of traffic rolling past. Tftc.
Nice quick find, but the cache isn't red as it says in the hint, but silver. "Found" by our 5 y/o as his first cache. Thanks!
Doing a little tour around the area down this way today and this was on the way. A short stop and the find was soon in hand. Now to get onto the steep bit

Heading up to Tamborine hoping to find a bit of cooler weather. Nice to find a couple of caches on the way.
Lovely views all around.
Thanks for the cache.

So today was "my day" and it was time to go do some geocaching in the Coomera area. I was out for about 4-5 hours today and definitely enjoyed my travels. All the caches were found rather quickly and logging duties completed.
Most caches and logs were in good condition however there were a couple that require CO intervention to repair.
Decided to head up Wongawallan Drive to check out these caches and the views. Oh wow, I wish I had a house up here
Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona

This was the only Cache that we grabbed on this road, we must have missed the rest on the next nearest. These little bison tubes can be quite versatile when it comes to placing them in the field.
The houses up this way must have some spectacular views.
Cheers
