That was easy.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Woden's day the sixteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. I thanks for the cache

I found two items at this location. The cache and a motorcycle helmet. I had even wondered if the cache was in the helmet, but no. Maybe a geocacher on their bike and left their helmet behind? Seems unlikely but you never know. I'm racking my imagination why a motorbike helmet would be here. Maybe it's a dirt bike helmet but it didn't seem to be a dirt bike trail friendly park. Anywho, it took a little while to narrow in on the ground zero here and eventually found a familiar container that I usually associate with this particular CO. Hadn't been to this park before until now, so thanks for placing here.

Curriculum days are the best geocaching days! And its a lovely sunny day to boot. Found the cache easily. Geoson had no issue with the clip. TFTC.

16-Aug-24
The clip was pretty tight. I've loosened it up but you still need to push it up from the bottom a little after you've unclipped it.

YAPIDKA! No shortage of parks to leap in and leap around in this neck of the woods. Thanks to forbears whose vision was to create or bequeath such land. Today is time for many things and one is the SOLSTICE souvenir rush. One is for memories of time near the beach and wistful dreams too. And one is for "casheering" as my dear mum Mollie would say. After fish'n'chips at Sandy's shop just up the road, taking a slow way home and enjoying the setting sun and chance to wander. Cache located in where directed and signed with no muggling issues. Thanks gmj3191 for placing the cache.

THANKS WE FOUND

19-Nov-23
I found this one fairly quickly as it was a little out in the open. I walked along the path to try and spot it before going for a stroll through the woods. The fallen tree made for a nice place to sit. The lid of the cache was a little sticky, but I soon got it open. Cheers for placing this one here.

I had come over *Bayside* today to find caches here for a LGA challenge that I am working on... with a focus on caches with high Favourite Point counts for another challenge that I am working on (yeah, I am a bit hooked on challenges!).

My third *Bayside* cache involved more walking than I expected. Driving down George St, I expected to turn into Spring St... but it wasn't there! A closer inspection of the map showed that it had been blocked off to vehicle traffic. Oh well, it was a nice day for a walk!

Thanks **gmj3191** for the cache.

A quick find avoiding the rain. TFTC

Post meet and in the ‘hood so I thought I’d grab a couple of caches. This was a nice, easy find though I did walk through a spider web so big that Indiana Jones would be impressed. Great cache too, very sturdy.

Off on a late Tuesday afternoon geocaching run in the Cheltenham area. I had heard that it was going to be a rainy afternoon, but it was a lovely night in the end. Funnily enough every one I found was a GMJ 3191 geocache and the 2 I couldn't find were both Earthbound Chief.

I know I've found some geocaches hidden on February 29, but not sure which year they were hidden. So technically this could be the first cache I've found on February 29 2012.

Looked under wrong fallen tree first.

Thanks for the cache GMJ 3191

After getting a nice little haircut today, and with my client postponing work for another week, left me with the rest of the day to go out and about and enjoy today's lovely weather.

With my eyes set on the general bayside area which I have clearly been unintentionally ignoring for the longest time. All in all had a brilliant day out in the sun. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure

*The Monday Melbourne Funeral Adventure #3*
SueHut and I are up for a funeral. We deliberately planned to do a few caches before (to be properly respectfully composed, not harried and frazzled by driving conditions getting there) and after (to "wind down" in order to have full concentration on the task of driving).
SueHut did the find, and we made sure it was a bit more appropriately covered than how we found it.
Thanks heaps, gmj3191!

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve driven down Spring Street to visit my best friend and had never noticed this park. Goes to show you I am either completely unobservant of my surroundings, or I keep my eyes on the road. I’m going with option 2.

When we arrived there was not a soul in sight until we made our way to GZ. A beautiful Labrador came in to see what we were up to, but luckily his owner didn’t spot us lurking in the bushes.

Once they were on their way, it was a quick find.

Thanks for bringing us here today gmj3191.

This is a hard cache to grab, need many sets of eyes to keep track of all the paths around. Today it is drizzling, which seems to keep the muggles at bay and finally I could nip in and grab the cache. The hide has been a bit damaged, I've sent gmj3191 a photo so he can assess the location. Thanks for the cache, gmj3191.

11-Nov-20
Out and about with echidna44 for another enjoyable day. Things did not start well and continued that way. I was on my own for this one and made it harder in direction than it should, they have these no through bits around here. I left the echidn44 in the car to regroup and I worked through the park. Searched for the long time and about to give up and fluked it. Not under and prickly now. Lots of trees and bushes down now, not clear if its nature or maintenance. Container very wet. Logbook OK. Not impressed at all.

21-Oct-20
As we can now wander up to 25km, and can have up to 2 hours of recreational activity, I'll re-enable my caches.

11-Jul-20
Melbourne is currently in a Stay At Home situation.
If you found this cache within walking distance of your home, go ahead and log it.
This is within the bounds of legitimate exercise.
If you found this cache by driving to it, you're interpreting the rules to your own benefit, and not the community's. You should not be travelling to exercise, and interpreting caching as exercise is a long stretch anyway (pun intended).

16-May-20
Didn’t need to go too far in to get this one. Tftc

16-May-20
Container had a bit of water in which we tried to get out. Logbook is dry though. Nice spot. Tftc.

16-May-20
Spotted it! You don't have to go to far in past the fence.

11-May-20
Re-enabled as Covid-19 restrictions are eased off.

28-Mar-20
Disabled for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis.
Although exercise is ok, beaches, parks etc are gradually being closed, and we are being asked to stay home.
The possibility to transmit the virus by surface contact exists, so why take chances?
At the end of the day, geocaching is a game, and we are dealing with a serious Public Health issue.
We need to get our priorities in order.
I believe the responsible thing is to disable all my caches, until the crisis passes.
Thanks.
