I did what you told me not to do. I poked and prodded. I couldn't find too much to turn over. I walked away and PAF, who got back to me with more details. I went back in at widened my search but still could not find what was being described.

After the first celebration of Freddy's birthday, and pulling out massive quantities of forget-me-nots, it was back to looking for Tupperware in the bush.
By the time we'd finished a couple of multis and the most fun Adventure Lab that had just been published in Gembrook, n0w0rries and I had missed the lunch celebration, and the weather didn't look like improving, so we started slowly towards home.
I can vouch for the coffee at the bakery.
We walked here for the Adventure Lab; this would just have been a bonus. But it was not to be.
Thanks anyway, day1976

tried
gave it fifteen minutes or so
but no luck
it is clear from the locale that this is one of those needle-in-a-haystack kinda caches
a few times i thought i found the needle, only to be sorely disappointed
but no matter
as a side-note: great bridge

Great weather and a free Sunday so decided to go caching with some geo friends out East.
Dropped by to grab the ad lab and went for an explore for this cache. It took some time to find and in between we were pleasantly interrupted by Puffing Billy. Returning to the search we were about to give up (as I was with previous finders) before we finally found it when widening our search radius. The cache is wet and mouldy and requires some love.
Thanks day1976 for the cache.

I was on a mission to find all the “hidden” trestle bridges along the Puffing Billy line today. I guess they’re not hidden as far as the locals are concerned, but I’d never heard of them until I started researching the railway line a week ago.
A loooooovely walk through Wrights Forest brought us to this magical location. I was here for my own Adventure Lab purposes but set about looking for this cache first. I dismissed the GPS directions numerous times, thinking it was “all over the place” but in the end the cache was found exactly where the GPS insisted it was.
Extracting the log was simple, unrolling the saturated paper was tricky (I managed to pop TR on the log), but re-inserting a soggy log into a tight rubbery cache and then having to get that back into a very small hole was like something out of a really bad porno! Sorry....I’m out of practice! 3 points for raunchiness, but 10 points for location.

This cache will be disabled until the COVID-19 crisis is over. Please refrain from finding this geocache.
There are four of us that have been trying to get some more of the Plantigrade series done. Very hard to find a day when we are all available so who would have thought that we would all be available this close to christmas. It was great to catch up at last. This is not one that we had on our list but as we were close by, decided to do it anyway.
We met a local taking her dog for a walk. They were waiting to see Puffing Billy go by. We waited for a while but it didn't turn up. As it was hot, we wondered if there was an issue so off we went to find the cache. The cache was found although the coords were out a bit. As we walked back, we could hear what we were waiting for and weren't disappointed. Never fail to enjoy seeing this great relic of the past. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to find.

The muggle we met here with her dog, let us know that Puffing Billy was due soon. We managed to find the cache much quicker than we were expecting, and get back before it came. Haven't seen Puffing Billy for years and must say that I never knew of the Fire Patrol that follows it on every run. Now to work out the best way to get to the next one on our list. Thanks for the cache and showing us this great vantage place. Must come back with the grandies. Thanks for the cache.

On approach we saw a muggle waiting with her dog.
Apparently Puffing Billy was due any moment.
A quick descent and even quicker find by Papi4506, before returning to photograph and film the icon of the hills.
Oh, the logbook is a little damp but still signable.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, day1976

Well this was a frustrating cache in a nice location. DAB and I searched everywhere we thought the cache could be, followed the instructions, used 2 GPSr units and 2 phones and came away after 40 minutes with nothing. Maps had us away from the bridge but we even searched that in many places for this cache. The GPSr just wanted us in the bush with nothing around.
Had a walk after lunch at Clematis pub with my partner on beautiful sunny day. Nice old bridge nearby. Been searched for 15mins then finally found it. Thanks day1976 for placing this cache
Our pride was on the line after noticing our niece and family (HudsonRubyEG) had managed to find this cache, when all we had achieved on our last visit was muddy clothes, wet feet, exhaustion and a slight injury to the hubby’s back when he lost his balance.
30 minutes later, rechecking an area both of us had previously searched, bingo, got the little sod:)
Thanks day1976. Beautiful area for a cache and nice to turn this one into a smilie.

Our GPS kept taking us away from where we assumed the cache was so after searching in the wrong place for some time we decided to read this log for some hints. It turns out our GPS was much closer to the cache than we assumed. Found quickly after reading the hints. Geokids us happy; We found a geocache and he us full of mud.
Heymissjo and I went out today to find some caches in the Emerald Gembrook area. The GPSr had us walking around in circles for a while, but we managed to locate the tricky hide. We did some maintenance on it and replaced as found. The hint was very helpful. Thanks Day.

What an extra special part of the world, crustyvarmint and I trekked out to find this one and thankfully using commonsense and geo senses we had it in hand!
The log was super wet and disintegrated in our hands so we have replaced it with a clean log. Will send CO a picture. Thanks again for the cache

We walked along the train tracks (yes, we know it’s illegal) and soon approached a bridge. I had visions of the movie Stand by me and practically ran across it to safety, nearly pushing the hubby out of my way. Read the cache page so we didn’t disturb any vegetation and having just one idea in my mind, started turning over the objects one by one. The problem was our GPS’s were absolutely useless today. Up and down the slopes, we spread out in every direction. At one point, I was crossing the little creek with very slippery rocks, slightly lost my balance, but fortunately only my foot landed in the water. Not so lucky the geo hubby. Both feet went from under him, a sharp tree stump broke his fall and he was slightly winded, receiving a nice red gouge across his back. We had a break, read through the logs and started again. After 2 hours and pretty tired from all the climbing up and down, we finally had to admit defeat.
At least we saw Puffing Billy cross the bridge. While the geo hubby was taking photos, I waved to all the passengers on board. Must be the only time you see happy, smiling people on public transport:)
Thanks anyway day1972. We’ll be back to have another crack at this one.

This time I managed to find the cache fairly quickly after a DNF last time quite some while ago. I have a bit of an issue with the last log - it is rather unlikely that the cache was wet as stated, and when I found it, it was in a pristine, untouched state. ie. no logs. I suspect that the wrong cache has been logged.
This was a crazy ‘mini adventure’ due to me being a clutz!
I saw this and had never been into this reserve even though I travel past very regularly. Off I set with Big pack on, (trying to get used to carrying more gear) and loved the walk. The tracks are stunning bush, I get to the Rough GZ and heed the Instructions to be careful... OUCH ! I fell over and barrel rolled lol. Would have been funny to see, anyway I stumbled around a little and couldn’t find the wanted cache. (Not a big fan of micros in such large areas personally) BUT it was an adventure nonetheless and that’s why caching is about. I ignored my gps since it was playing up and went the opposite way to what it said and bingo.
Signed the damp log and went up to admire the bridge. So beutifull Thanks to Day for placing this here and showing me something I hadn’t seen before

Love the old trestle bridges with their grandeur and all their history they hold. We headed along the track to the bridge without seeing the puff of smoke and the train that accompanies it or the bridge rocking , but we did see a suspicious object that revealed the cache with a very wet log. Luckily beckNmonts had her supplies with her and a dry log was replaced.
Thanks day1976 for bringing us here to another great location.

After picking up a solved mystery along the route, we continued on to this cache. No bush bashing was required. Our GPS's were taking us in opposite directions, but I soon made a find! Unfortunately the log was soaking, so we replaced it and notified the CO. TFTC day1976
I now understand why people say that they hate Nanos in the Bush.
Our GPS had us about 5 meters from the bridge, where I cut down tree was located, which keep us searching for 20 minutes. About this stage it was just me still searching with the kids climbing up the bridge and wife taking photos.
After ditching the GPS and following the instructions on the cache page, the nano was soon found in the first place that I looked. Then showed got the wife to follow the instructions who also found the cache straight away.
Always loved this bridge but usually from sitting with the feet sticking out the windows of Puff n Billy.
Certainly looks different from this angle.
Thanks for the Easter Sunday adventure Day1976

Lovely bridge! Approached from the west & found in the first place I seriously looked - didn't read the description however, so no tweezers - very inventive! Thanks
I only read the description of this one after starting on my walk, so I thought I might have a bit of trouble as I had no tweezers and it was half cloudy.
Went and looked at the trestle bridge, nicely put together I reckon. No Puffing Billy in the time I was there but I could hear him in the distance.
Found the track down - it wasn't clear off the main track for a few metres - and then the side path to the cache location. I had a couple of theories as to what the hide could be, one of which turned out to be correct.
GPS was of course a little all over the place but I took heart from the notes about not destroying vegetation, that really restricted where one might look.
At one point I thought I should do a leech check, and there was a thin long one walking up my socks. Banished him and didn't meet another.
Within about 5 minutes I found the cache. Easy retrieval of log without tweezers this time as it was still tightly rolled up. I thought this had neat approach to keeping out water.
Thanks for the cache.

Needs a nano log roll. If the next finder could bring one in that would be fabulous.
This was the second of three unloved Day1976 caches that we found today, with almost 3 years of loneliness between them.
We parked at the railway crossing and walked along a track (of sorts) alongside the railway line. Down and up a gully and around the bend before the bridge appeared. Geomissus stayed put and let me scramble down and up to GZ to admire the engineering on show. After a short search the cache was found, but no log. I poked around some more and found the log *not* where it should have been, and on attempting to extract, it disintegrated. Bugger. I should have carried a spare with me.
On the way out I took the less intense way down and found myself confronted with an army of ants, guarding a large fallen tree (see pic). I contorted myself to get around it with minimal exposure (having already found leeches in my pants from the last cache, I didn't fancy ants as well). Scrambled back up the embankment and back to the car. Another check that I hadn't carried back any creepy crawlies under my shirt or in my socks and we were on our way to the next cache!

Pretty rapt to find this one. Couldn't fill in the log as there's nothing left of it!
Spied this one off in needing the dt for my 3rd loop, and seeing the CO's first hide thought it would be a gem. Was a little unsure so spoke to Day who was happy to join me for a walk in his backyard.
Made our way out to the magnificent structure with the dog loving having free run.
As area is dicey for coords I put away the GPS and started testing some things out from the hint. Sure enough, found this creative little hide.
Took some time to grab some pics here of this beautiful location. Well done on your first hide here mate - awesome spot, this is what caching is all about. A fave from me when I build the points.
Cheers

Tried to get to this one a few times over the last couple of months, but somehow always ended up on the wrong track and miles away from GZ with fading light. Stumbled across the right track yesterday but not enough time by then, so we walked back to the car and took a pic of the track to make sure when we came back today we'd know which way to go.
It was only on the walk down Blue Track that we re-read the description and Geokid 2/2 saw that it was a nano on a steep track. She wasn't keen to say the least but we pushed on. On leaving the main track she really wasn't sure it was a good plan but I spurred her on. By the time we got to the small track she was a bit worried but I held the dogs and she found the cache straight away, she was pretty pleased with herself, as was I
Bit of a struggle to get the stopper back in (the dogs weren't helping) but all good, photos taken and a pretty easy walk back to the main track and we were all happy.
Thanks Day for a fun walk, I'm glad to be able to finally tick this one off my list

Just going back and logging all the geocaches we've found as #SEALTeam4 under my own name. TFTC
Spent over an hour at GZ without any luck. Reading previous logs and the cache description I think I was not quite at GZ. Another day maybe. Enjoyed the walk in and out. A passing train would have been nice.
So glad I stumbled across this quickly, as I thought I could be in for a long hunt. After a protracted battle with the log I finally managed to sign this one. Highly recommend tweezers! Thanks for the cache.
We found this cache today at 7:00pm as number 10 of 10 on our Saturday Afternoon Saunter to Emerald. The light was starting to get very dim and we thought that a cache of this size may be extremely unlikely to be located in this situation. We carefully read the cache page though and that gave us the info that we needed to be in the right place and the cache was located soon afterwards. Our last caching trip to this spot was back in 2004 at the old Muzza cache, "I'll Huff and Puff #4 V2". That time we walked in from the other direction. Thanks from D & A B-A.
I'll admit it I'm a Game of Thrones junkie, in particular I like Peter Dinklage "Tyrion". So much so I started watching other shows and movies he has stared in. Today made me think of one called The Station Agent... ostracised from the world he would often walk the rail line "right of way" he found solitude in doing so.
Parking at a suggested spot by the CO I felt daring in my 2.5 hours of child free time and decided to experience this "right of way" ( yes I saw the signs it's illegal) and hopefully along the way in my solitude discover some positive Chi which will then let me find a blasted micro in the bush - who does that? lmao!
I discovered two things: 1, the Basalt, although small pieces hurts even in shoes, if you step on it the wrong way. 2, The railway sleepers are spaced very inconveniently. Too close together to stand on each one and too far apart to stand on every second one. Gosh the inconvenience of it all! Balancing like a 4 y o along the lines for most of the way!
I enjoyed the short walk until I found a bridge with big warning signs and it was then that my Vertigo kicked in, sweats, shakes, butterflies - what if there is another earth tremor like last nights ...frig...um..eek..what do I do...I need a daily...I want this one for my matrix...I need to be back to pick up geo daughter soon...F it I wont look.... Okay Im across.
At GZ my phone went spastic ( knew I should have brought my Garmin) I just had to trust my instincts...but it was one of Day's caches and we know what he is like... 10 minutes later I was writing my name on the log sheet! Super proud of myself!
The trip back was pleasant once again walking on the tracks listening out for Billy. Every truck on the nearby road sounded like a train! I think there is a Lyrebird who also imitates Billy's whistle.
I enjoyed seeing the Banksia Spinulosa coming into flower and the odd hyacinth orchid, Something had caught a small spiny crayfish and eaten him on the tracks. I was really enjoying the short walk. Then I got to THAT bridge again....its only small I made it over once....Ruuuun...but don't' trip....Phew I'm over!

Dropped by to check on and cache and change log book. Only to find someone has done that already. Thanks!
Found the cache, couldn't use the log a pair of pliers or tweezers is needed to get into it. Very good cache could see why some would struggle though
Took the opportunity while in the area to look for this one, to no avail. The GPS was all over the place, not surprisingly, but the area was reasonably obvious and the hint was reasonably specific. After a good 20 minutes of looking I was still non the wiser and the only thing out of place that I found had nothing under it.
If, as I suspect, nature has covered this one with litter, it will be very hard to find.

Checked on this one today. cache is not covered by leaf litter. Easily spotted, log book is getting full so I will replace next time I am here.
Thought this would be really hard but found it in about 5 mins. Really good cache!
Found it! I reconnoitered a walk for the Walkabouters today! I started at the aptly named Paradise Hotel in Clematis and walked to Cockatoo following the the Emerald - Cockatoo Trail and return. I picked up a few caches on the way. This was one of them!
It is just a matter of keeping to the trail and noticing something out of place and turning it over!......after a very long time spent looking for it! Fantastic bridge! I think foxes live under the bridge, just where it meets the ground. The tiny space would make a nice den. TFTC SL. BTW, the log was unusable, so I placed popped a new log in (with the old - it was a tight squeeze!) that should be ok in the wet!

Out and about this afternoon, Still lots of time so we continued with our trek thanks for the cache placement day1976 TNLT SL
Approached this one with some doubt in our minds after reading the clues and logs. Turned out to be an easy one, we spotted it right away. Deserves a favourite for clever hide.
'Gosh this is going to be really tricky with such diabolical GPSr readings', thought Mr Hunter as he sipped his cup of Thermos tea. Mrs Hunter was nearby, still looking around the bush. The pair had been hunting the cache for 15 minutes or more. He switched off the GPSr, took another sip, and closed his eyes. Tuning into the natural beauty of the surroundings. The faint note of a steam whistle drifted in from afar. The warming dappled sunlight playing on the solid wooden structure they had chosen as a seat. A tiny hint in one of the logs played on his mind, so with cup in hand he got up andwandered down a path just looking for nothing in particular, hoping for inspiration. This is the way his favourite fictional detective Harry Hole works he thought. Hmm, there was indeed something odd there, just slightly out of place at this point on the trail. He stooped, turned it over and smiled broadly. You clever devils he muttered as he retrieved the log using a small twig. He whistled a Whip Bird call and Mrs Hunter came to join him. 'Well that's one to note.' she said, 'Well done hubby.'

Back today to complete the epic Plantigrade series of caches. Three weeks earlier we had gotten as far Cockatoo and today was another massive walk of about 30km to see this series completed. A good solid day and with me on the trail was Ahomburg. Weather conditions much improved with ideal conditions.
This would have been my 3rd visit to this spot to try and find this cache and finally it was found at last!! Ahomburg made the find at last which was great as this one had been quite a nemesis for him. Wow it all makes sense now and I sort of wonder why I had not found it on an earlier attempt.... A nice spot and with the logged sign we continued walking onwards westward bound.

Ahomburg made the find at last which was great as this one had been quite a nemesis for him. Wow it all makes sense now and I sort of wonder why I had not found it on an earlier attempt.... A nice spot and with the logged sign we continued walking onwards westward bound.
TFTC day1976
Date: 14 December 2013
Time: 9:33am
Find # 3416
Streak: 136 days
Out and about again today with caching mate SedgwickDave. The weather was looking perfect compared to three weeks ago when we completed the first half of this series. It is amazing what a few weeks can do to the terrain, as last time, the heavy rain had converted the tracks into little creeks, but a few weeks of dryer weather had changed the area into a nice pleasant place to walk. To anyone contemplating this series, I would highly recommend a warm dry day. Complete the series as intended, you will not regret it.
Although not part of the Plantigrade series, I was keen to give this one another go to get it off the list and claim the unloved. I had visited this site on five or six occasions without luck and it turned out my search area was close but no cigar. After about five minutes I located this sneaky little hide.
Thanks to day1976 for the cache. TNLN

We spent a bit of time staring at the surrounding bush, thinking how impenetrable it looked and wondering whether 9m on the bouncing GPS was close enough. Too scared to touch anything in view of the hint . Luckily we walked a little further, found a likely looking animal trail, stopped at a place where one of our GPSes was consistently at 1-2m and said 'right. Time to bite the bullet and look a bit.' And then it was in the first spot we touched . No tweezers but after some patience we extracted the log. Thanks for the cache - and the accurate coords
Dropped by today to check on this one. Found the cache a little distance from where it was supposed to be, but not far. Log book was a bit damp, but has held up pretty well considering the amount of rain that we have had since this one was placed. Can confirm all previous finders, except one have signed the physical log and I have sent a polite email to the cacher who has not. Area is a bit slippery, but not the worst I have seen it.
day1976!! A nano in the bush?? We are not amused......
Neither is the bush in the area, which is inevitable taking a beating.

Could previous and future cachers please note this one line from the cache description....
"This is not a Traditional hide, please think before searching for this cache, there is no need to destroy any vegetation to access this cache."
This means you do NOT need to dig or prod or poke or pull anything to find this cache.
Look at the cache page, think about it, then search.
I will be checking on this hide in the near future and if the damage to the area is significant I will disable the listing. Please play nice and read the description.

After getting the living daylights scared out of us by a passing by dog, and just about to give up we final stumbled across it!! Tftc
While walking dogs in area decided to try and find it. Searched for a while but found it eventually.
After the previous DNF logs and my recent experience with another one of my caches in this forest, I thought I should check on this one too. Found cache nice and snug, still in it's original hiding spot. I had assumed that the nature of the hide was going to require regular maintanence, but cache is still in place and the log book is still reasonably dry!
This one refused to show . We tried as best as we can for almost one hour. Instead of the cache we caught a Puffing Billy on the bridge. We tried to leave the area around in a good condition and did not too much damage during our search. Maybe we get a new chance in two or three years....
Checked on this cache today. The paths in are very muddy and extremely slippery. It was more luck than skill that I was able to stay upright all day.
Checked on a couple of my caches today whilst walking the dogs. Slipped over twice getting to my own cache. Still in good condition.
Took the afternoon off work to go and check my hides and to finish off the final calculations for another hide. Found this one still in good condition, although a lot of evidence that there has been quite a lot of activity in the vicinity. The little animal track is becoming quite a distict walking track!
I headed out tonight for another huge Monday night cache run with my good mates Blacklegend (Marshy) and Trailrunning (Adrian). The weather was perfect for caching as it was quite warm the whole night and rather balmy as well - tshirt weather all the way. We met at Marshy's base in Ivanhoe and had planned to go to Altona first then make our way across to Warburton but the plans soon changed when a few hours in to our run a bunch of news caches was published. We ended up going for FTF's as well as having a crack at two tricky caches that hadn't been found yet including Alton Beach and Rockin Bridge.
We ended up going to Altona first then to Ringwood then back to Ivanhoe for some FTF's then up to Kinglake and then down to Cockatoo and then up to Lilydale before heading back to Ivanhoe. Dare to say we travelled a few kms but it was worth it with a well earned 6 FTF's for the night.
This cache was highest on our hit list for the night. Our attitude for the night was 'to find caches, not just look for them' and we were determined to follow it through. I'd been following theprogress of the cache since it wa spublished and with many DNF's logged (and not logged), we knew we were in for quite a challenge.
We parked the Pathy down the track and followed the rail line to the bridge near GZ. We piled our drinks and other stuuf on the ground and started a methodical search of the area. Our Gps's had us up and down, here and there but we settled on just working our way through possible hiding spots. After a good 20 mins of searching, and eliminating many possible hides, we gathered and had a chat about the location and hide. With renewed vigour we set about looking for the elusive hide. About five minutes later those words you love to hear rang out throught the tranquility of the night 'FOUND IT' !
Marshman had found the extremely well hidden cache, and right where it was supposed to be too. One of our best cache finds due to the difficulty of the hide and the length of time it had been unfound. We happily signed the log and rehid the cache. Back at the Pathy we celebrated with a well earned UDL before starting on our way home.
A big fat favourite for me. Thanks day1976.

Joint *FTF* with Trailrunning and Quasar3671. Another legendary night caching run with my good mates Marty (Quasar3671) and Adrian (Trailrunning) on what are now our Monday night cache runs. One of 30 caches for me for the night. Special night where we picked up 6 FTF's travelling from Hidelberg to Altona for a FTF, then Melbourne City, Ringwood, back go Hidelberg for FTF's, up to Kinglake for a FTF, then down and back via Cockatoo-Emerald for two more FTF's, including a cache which had been out for 2 months and remained unfound until we unleashed our caching might upon it.... So a great night, over 300 kms driven, and some great caching adventures with great company. Few UDL's consumed during the night celebrating the FTF success.
Night find at 3.30am. 20min search time. Great hide. Here's the story. We eventually get to GZ, after a long night of driving. Parked about 250m away and then walked to GZ. Terrain was not too bad, and after an extensive search, the cache was not located. So we had a bit of a sit back, a chat and then again began our search. Then bang, the sight was fantastic and I announced "Got it". What a feeling to find a cache in Melbourne that was 2 months old, with several DNFs. And the legend of our team continues to grow. Our 6th and last of 6 FTFs for the night.
Loved the location, great hide and a favourite point given. Thanks day1976 for a fantastic challenge.

#76 found @ 4:34:00 PM
Find number 1 out of 1 for today.
I have had this on my watch list since an earlier failed attempt at a FTF. After seeing some others find it in the wee hours of the night I was inspired to make another attempt so I loaded geohound on the back of the ute and headed out. On approach to GZ I was followed by two bush walkers and their dog, when I got near the bridge I had to pretend I was checking messages on my phone (not very convincingly I might add) while they passed. But they didn't pass they just stood nearby. I was thinking they are probably here for the same reason as I was and a brief Mexican stand off was underway. They didn't look like they were about to move in a hurry so I continued on to do a small loop of the forest, hoping upon my return I could sneak up on them and catch them with cache in hand and an easy find for me. In hindsight I regret not asking them if they were cachers and introducing myself. Any way they were gone when I returned and I had the place to myself. I spent 10 min searching and bingo, then kicked myself for not finding it the first time. I had planned to borrow some specialized equipment if I failed to find it again and on the way home it clicked why I found an unusual object in the cache which I thought was quite strange at the time. I give this cache a favor point not only for the clever hide but also for driving me nuts the last two weeks sitting at the top of my search list.

Congratulation Blacklegend, Trailrunning and Quasar3671 on FTF! At 3am too, very impressive to find that nano in the bush at that time of night, well done!
Another Monday night comes around and my good buddy Blacklegend is down from Tocomwal. We meet up with Quasar3671 at BL's home base and head out for a night of awesome caching. The team is out to find caches tonight, not just search for them, and we have a number of caches on the radar that are still FTF chances even though others have searched for them. We start at a steady pace, but about 9 pm, when we are happily sitting in the Ringwood Macca's having a meal break, there's a number of alerts come through that get us running to the car. Quick navigation checks and we are off. We quickly piece together a FTF hunt strategy for this series of new caches, and to be honest it paid off with only 1 2TF on the four new caches published in the north and east of Melbourne. That makes it a total of 6 FTF for the night/early morning run.
This cache was one of the last for the night. We had all looked at this when it was published, but decided against going so far of course to look for a nano in the bush, but when the other cache was published nearby, all bets were off. We were able to get close vehicle access, and walked into GZ. Finding the little animal track we peeled off and began our search. I must say it was a hard one, battling the mozzies, and leeches, but after about 20 minutes of searching Blacklegend says those words you always want to hear "got it". We high fived as it's a devious hide, but not unobtainable. We came, we searched, we found and signed the log as a *FTF*. Thanks for the experience day1976. Nice bridge.

After a fantastic morning caching at Gilwell Park, Cracka1 and I thought this would be our first FTF, but... it wasn't. Had a good look around, could see where previous searchers had been. Not a traditional cache huh. Looked in non-traditional places, still couldn't find it. This is a very tricky one. Will try again soon.
I searched for an hour this morning with no luck, didn't really understand the hint, so that did not help me. will try again next time I am here, I loved the bridge and was lucky enough to see a train pass by while I was there.
Was walking in the area today, training for Oxfam Trailwalker, checked on the cache, still in the same position, GPS had me spot on. Plenty of evidence of rock turning and fern frisking.
Just my luck. Was nearby and an opportunity for my first FTF pops up and it's a nano in the bush. Anyway looked for about 30 mins and couldn't find it. I'll be back for another look sometime as its just dropped into my 10km radius which I have just about finished clearing.
Nice close cache for me! Half an hour of searching in pretty much the same places as previous searcher (could see frustration in his rock moving and fern frisking!!) but I was chased off by two leeches and a bull-ant!! A lot of bush out there!
Next time I'll bring the other detector!
