Out this way on my way home from visiting my daughter in Mildura and the Grandkiddies.Decided to call in on this one.I know the guy who this road is named after as well as the farm nearby.Easy findTFTC SL
Woot woot time for another Tuesday Trekking.A Confused trio, consisting of a Ttrogg, Rat and a Starfish. The plan for today was for the Starfish and ttrogg to meet up with Rat at her nest. Then cache our way to and around the Riverland. We had lovely weather, stories and laughter. This was one of many cache finds on our journey.A quick stop and find for the Confused trio. Tftc
Another Terrific Tuesday Trek for the Confused Trio, this time after meeting at the Rat's nest we headed north east to Gluepot Reserve, the twitcher's paradise. I'd been here once before, nearly 8 years ago, but both the Rat and the Starfish had never had the pleasure. A great place to visit, but I don't think I'd like living here. A satisfying number of caches were found, no DNFs and a bit of maintenance done so another great day out caching. A few caches were found before getting to the track in then all along that track were found before starting work inside Gluepot itself. Needed to leave for homes before clearing the whole of Gluepot so we will be back, sometime. This one was one of fourteen that I wanted. Think we managed to by-pass this gate as there were roadworks in the area. Thanks to firesafe for adding to the playing field with this cache.Cache #14923 for me.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
Something special or unusual goes here:We stopped for the gate but it was not necesary as there is now a grid in place. Seeing as we were stopped we found the cache. The Generic Bit:The usual trio of puzzle solvers were available for Tuesday Trekking today. I met Ttrogg and Mrs. S.A. Sewer Rats at the rat's nest. We headed of towards Gluepot in search of puzzles and anything else we came across. [ As usual a few caches to do along the way and before we knew it we were only at Lock 4 for a picnic lunch! [^] We did make it into Gluepot eventually and found a few caches there in the afternoon. Still plenty to do means we will have to come back! ***Thanks firesafe for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Staying in Waikerie for the long weekend. Headed out today to convert some greenies into TFTC firesafe [^]
Caravan trip to the Riverland. Day 3, Cadell to Gluepot. Those grids are certainly pointy!TFTC

Thanks firesafe for the cache.
Found on our way on a caching trip with two nights at Gluepot Reserve and one night at Morgan Conservation Park. The main aim was to find all caches in the Gluepot area, with the added bonus of locating others along the way. Thanks for the cache firesafe!

Following this afternoon's Community Celebration Event in Berri a small contingent of enthusiast cachers headed to the Gluepot Reserve for a selected few caches...
I was on gate duty and as I was the only one in the group that needed this cache I quickly raced to GZ, signed the logbook, put it back and jumped back in the car...

I was a bit taken aback by the 'Private property - unauthorised entry prohibited' sign on the gate until I read the other sign saying I could use the track to get to Gluepot Nature Reserve.
I opened the gate and drove through (closing the gate after me) and felt a little ripple of adrenaline for disobeying one of the signs. Then I found the cache. TFTC firesafe.

Well of coarse we grabbed all the caches along the track as we headed for the naughty Confluence adding to the fun drive through the Gluepot Reserve. My job to be the gate keeper which was fair enough as the other Triton drove the Cruiser through to the next paddock but not before signing the log.
Thanks firesafe for the hide.

A nice quick find on the way to Gluepot. Log was wet so put a piece of paper in a dry bag in the container. TFTC
Heading to Alice Springs for the Mega and we've chosen Gluepot Reserve for our overnight stay. What better way to navigate there than by cache ?
We stopped for the gate, and the cache , but that was all we have a camp to make in Gluepot tonight.

Needing a day out and a change of scenery, I tried to find someone to come caching with me ....... the only willing victim...Oops, geocacher, was Andy Colombia
Having warned her that it would be a big day, I still don't think that she quite expected to be picked up soon after 8am and then returned at 12.56am... the following morning [)]
About 700kms of driving, 18 caches found including 3 FTFs and some awesome fun drive along a 'not quite a track' track under clear and star filled skies in my Corolla made for a massive but brilliant day [^]
Thank you heaps for the great company, Andy Colombia [:X]
Unless mentioned otherwise, please know that your cache and log book was in good condition.
Found this cache while on our way into Gluepot.
While we did what we had to do, a quick find was made
As Andy Colombia lifted the cache, I wondered who the CO was[?] as there only 2 geocachers I know who regularly use these containers.
Oh, so this isn't a freddo cache but instead it belongs to a fireman
We made sure to leave the gate as we found it! [^]

A quick find in the obvious spot. This is as far as we came in the campervan as the track looked a bit sandy from here on. We did go through the gate though - but only to turn around. Thanks.
On the way to Gluepot Reserve for the weekend and stopped at a few convenient caches on the way. This was one of them and a nice quick find [^]

Not just a "Good find, TFTC", but rather a the start of a fun filled weekend of caching, bird watching, and edumacating others about the wonders of the GPS system

Having a short holiday in Morgan to do the TDF series and grab other caches in the local area, this being one of them. TFTC SL Left a TB which wants to travel and a pathtag for someone to grab. Worth the trip up the road !
We stopped for the gate and got out of the car to make a quick find of this cache. thanks firesafe.

It's nice to have a cache to find to offset the incovenience of having to get out and open a gate! Nice easy find on our way out to Gluepot. TFTC

A quick find and sign, encountered a number of cattle, which added to the trip, glad we did not see the bull, TFTHSL
Not another gate - hey that sounds like a good name for a cache. Thanks Firesafe
After having a fantastic time at the Oz Mega event we had to drop the youngest team member back in Melbourne as she had to return to work Tuesday but we are fortunate enough to have the rest of the week off and as the camper was already hooked up it seemed silly not to just keep going picking up a few more caches along the way.
Watching the GPSr needle count down to this one we had no trouble at all stopping for the gate in fact that was the exact reason that we were on this road. Once we passed through we headed back and located a nice easy find and added our name to the log, no bonnet ornament for us today.
Our thanks to firesafe for the cache.

We started at 6.30am Saturday and got home 3.00pm Sunday.
We stayed at Loch Luna on the Murray on Saturday night.
We stopped before the gate. We'd already passed through one to here. Why was there no cache there?

Found with Team Waldron on a wonderful weekend of caching through the Riverland. There was Freddo, Astro and White Dog Gang too! We were on our way to Loch Luna after planting lots and lots of caches. The smell from the local piggery was a bit on the nose but it was an easy find. It is caches like this that made our weekend so much fun. While we were there, we located a perfect location for a new cache. As we searched for just the right place to make the hide, we found another new born cache. It appears somebody else had the same idea today! TFTC
Quite right Mr FireSafe. You do have to actually stop.
Thanks to firesafe and clear skies from TeamAstro.
