Today, my plan was to hang around Mount Barker and explore the town and its surrounds. A Breakfast Club event kick started my day, and from there, I joined a small group to Mount Barker Summit to find a few of those geocaches. I then headed solo around the area to find a few more traditionals, and later ran into Wal & Ol who had also stuck around visiting a few multi-cache waypoints. I continued to check out the town's surrounds, and called it a day when it got dark.
Although this cache had been archived, it looks like the CO ended up performing maintenance and replacing the cache after the Reviewer had archived it?! What a shame that this ended up archived, for I turned up, and managed to find the cache reasonably quickly, and it was a terrific hide! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks team jacks for the cache placement. Perhaps a new cache can be created with the current cache's coordinates?

One or more of the following has occurred:
No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future, just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it still meets the current
guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.
Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

I would do an NA log but I'm not allowed to do that until I've done one of these.
Been a couple of months since last found cache owner might need to check up on this one to see if it's still here
Having found a couple of the log caches previously I thought I knew what I was looking for. Unfortunately it looks like the local council has been doing a bit of roadside tidy-up here recently
Same as the last few records - no luck here. This is a popular place for collecting firewood, have seen people driving past with trailers and collecting fallen branches etc. Perhaps the owners could confirm if it is still there?
Out with 3LG and Clare007 for some locus caching
Afternoon stretched into night and there were some hours spent searching for a few caches which just did not get found!
All up between 3.30pm and 12.45am we had 16 finds and 7 DNFs
Some of these cache hides, if they are still in place, are pure EVIL!
Considering how long it has been between finds for this cache, we did have to wonder if it was still here[?]
Four of us searching and searching and yet no sign of a cache
Not sure if this is evil or non existent!

Forgot to add that there has been scrub clearing happening at GZ.
We are not sure how long ago but there were what looked like reasonably fresh cut stems and branch litter near GZ.
So we weren't even sure that the cache was still there but we still spent almost an hour searching!

At this stage of the game we were over getting DNFs, but I did leave the evilest caches for my friends hoping they could help me, they were just perplexed as I have been.
Evidential, it seems someone has been clearing some unwanted undergrowth.
So I hope the cache has not gone AWOL.
Thanks the challenge team jacks

Just noticed I hadn't logged this find.
A real tough cache which took me quite a while to locate and it was very well hidden.

Let's just say there was a few grumbles and cursed words as we all looked high and low, through spiders and ants. Geohubby was less than impressed when he got back in the car with a small passenger, a spider!

Given this is listed as only 1 * terrain, it would indicate it is wheelchairnaccessible then? So I concentrated in the spots a wheelchair can access, yet gpsr still wanted me 4m into the roadside scrub! i did find the cache(just a log is a cache?) about 2m off the road IN the scrub. After eventually getting the log out of the cammo, I eventually replaced the whole lot back as best I could to reflect a 1 * terrain, so the next wheelchair cacher can access it. Not so sure, given it is 1 * terrain in that location, I am not so sure a 3* difficulty is warranted?
Thought I would follow-up on a clue I was given, but the item still evaded me.
Might save my concentration for other caches as I don't seem to have much luck with this one.
Curse your evilness team Jacks & the damn sneakiness

Hmm, seems I have the right area but am clueless as to what I'm looking for. May keep this one for another time.
Top cache! Found with Team Waldron on a wonderful Saturday morning of caching. TFTC.
Found it the first place we looked which wasn't the last place we looked.
Took ages to get the log out.

Log in log with the log stuck in log! Used log retrieval device to grab log to sign log. Tftc.
Out for a day caching with Farmer--brown
Very good cameo and nice and creative

We were a bit worried that the dogs on the other side of the fence were about to alert their owner (who was whipper-snipping nearby) and we would be found out. Luckily we made a pretty quick find and sign and escaped back to the car without getting sprung. TFTC
Have no idea if I had the right place as my GPS decided to be uncooperative.
It took me up the street, met two ladies on horses.
Back down the street towards three noisy dogs, one that I was afraid of its intentions as it ducked under the gate and stood at the bottom of the drive-way to make sure I had a good sending off!
Came six metres to a possible looking tree, but it looked like some creature was/had lived there.
Anyway, guess I'll be back for this one, and will bring back-up
Cheers team jacks

I don't know why we do these (or even why people place them) [xx(], nor did we notice anything of real interest here [?].
Looked around for this one for quite some time (enough time to meet and talk with both of the adjacent neighbours) .
We hate soursob season , but eventually found the cache after totally eliminating the adjacent living structure [:o)].
The swelling of the wood made this hard to get out, so it was back to the car for some specialised equipment - eventually managed to extract the log .
TNLNSL.
Replaced the bag we hacked to get to the paperwork and a quick replacement meant it was off to the next .
Thanks again Team jacks (we think) .

OMG. Another cunning hide but I managed to find it.
Thanks team jacks for the cache.

Found on a day out caching with Witch of the South. For some reason we signed everything for the 5th, not the 4th. No problems finding this one.
Thanks for the hide,

I saw it on the previous two unsuccesful visits but today had the right mojo probably as a result of 2 other team jacks cache finds. On the roll? Not quite. Didn't manage to find the other two log in logs despite spending a fair amount at each. The log needs maintenance as it is quite wet from last nights rain. Thanks team jacks.
Sorry late logging it!! Found on the 2/4/12 with team shellybobbob!! What a cache!!! Love it!!
And didn't forget I had the geosis reminding me to log it!!!!

Evil little bugger of a cache. Took some effort to get it out. Just a bit worried about what might happen if it gets wet. TFTC
I tried this before sun up, but not a good one for torch light. Easy find in daylight. Thanks
Wooooooooo Hoooooooooo. FTF at 9.30am. Had to be careful as there was a car in the nearby driveway with its door open. Couldn't see anyone but figured that they weren't tooooo far away. The cache name was a great help and the coords took me to the right location. Something was a little different to the rest but I was still very surprised to find it relatively quickly. A very evil hide. TFTC team jacks
Like it. Very clever hide. It all in the name as you say. TFTC
So clever, the hide deserves a favourite.
