Planning a trip to Mount Barker, is this one here to be found or is it indeed away for maintenance? An update from CO would be good given its been off line for a few months. Thanks
Again! Found this when we were unaware of maintainance. Thanks for the cache anyway CSavvy. #78
Nice one. Found after scratching our heads at other nearby structures and then there it was. Couldn't sign a log as couldn't find one inside the cammo. Thanx
We're on holiday in SA and after departing the zoo, we had a sleeping 2 year old spiderling in the car....then the 4 year old spiderling followed so we just drove on. We thought we'd get out at Hahndorf but they were both still snoring so we drove on some more and pulled over for a toilet stop in Strathalbyn when both boys woke. We walked around a little, found a cache and decided to make our way back to Adelaide lazily. We stopped for the favourite points here and a quick find ensued as I have a similar cache container back in Victoria. TFTC CSavvy!
Rode the mountain bikes around the bike trails around Mt Barker, grabbing caches along the way. Great trails in a lovely area. Fav point for the design of the container. Found and signed log.
This one is a ripper! I have seen this type of hide before but somehow this one had me looking, looking and still looking and just for the torture factor have a Favourite Point, let alone the trickiness of the hide and cache creation The cache and contents are all good. Log is a wee bit moist but still signable and the band is cool too! SL at 07:50 on TGIF 11 Aug 2017. TFTC CSavvy
I needed a quick find on a rainy day, to maintain my current streak. This one was a quick find only because I had guessed what it might be, but certainly made me smile: very well camouflaged!
getnict rung me and asked if I wanted to go caching with them, mount barker was chosen. We started doing mutlis then moved to the trads. nicely themed cache but no sure about the t2.
Out and about caching with sir_spectre. We decided to do a few multi's and grab the trads in between. Didn't get to complete all the multi's we started as it was after dark and didn't want to be shining torches around peoples house, so we will be back.
Clever hide.

Staying in Mount Barker for the week, for our annual holiday to see the Santos Tour Down Under Bicycle Event.
Day Four of racing and today was our turn to particiapte by doing the BUPA ride which meant a 5.30am start to the day, and finishing in Campbletown.
Back in Mount Barker and our only free night left for these holidays we decided to go around and grab a few caches locally. On our list we had nine caches to find, of which we only found six, the other three being DNF's.
Have come across these hides before and when we seen it we thought we knew what we were looking for and yes we were right.

Mrs Gizmo was out caching with Doctor Owl around Mt Barker and as we were passing by Owl stopped for Mrs Gizmo to make the find. Quickly located the clever hiding place. Interior container is missing its lid but the log was safe inside its plastic bag. Emptied some resident critters out of the cache before replacing it.

Owl decided she needed a caching therapy day and collected Sushilord for a road trip to Goolwa - which they never actually go to! Having found it before, Sushilord sat in the car and planned the next target while Owl nipped off to find the cache. She found what she thought was half a cache, but then located the real one. The baby earwigs had to be evicted before the log could be signed, so it all took longer than expected.
Great hide but wasn't no rock n roll

Despite many possible hides in the area, something looked interesting when we arrived. Closer inspection revealed a very well constructed cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks CSavvy for the cache - it earns a favourite from us.
Last one for the day...another cache belonging to Csavvy. With geokids StunkyPanda2006 & gnomeo2207. Great hide, TFTC.
I was in mount barker today for a lego meet up. I had master 11 with me who had never been geocaching before but wanted to see what i do when i'm out photographing my lego.
Fortunately i got my cache hunting cred back when i spotted this baby first before master 11, esp since he's new to the game and had me beat at the last one!

There were several places to consider given the location and the cache's name - but the clever hide didn't take too long to find. Thanks for taking the trouble to make this one interesting. TFTC
great cache. I love these caches where people have gone out of their way to construct a container that really blends in and looks the part. the creativity and extra work required deserves a favourite. Thanks for the cache
Found the lid to the cache on the post while walking past with the dogs, put back to rightful place.
Thanks claire!!
Geocacher's please make sure that when you leave the cache, it is secure. Thanks!

Out cache hunting with Mrs Froghoppin.
This cache seemed to have "Rising Power".
It was probably put here by a bit of a "Live Wire".
"High Voltage" is something to take care around or you'll "Get It Hot".
There could be "Danger" because the "Rock 'n Roll Train" passes close.
Being nighttime, we were "Back in Black".
But in the end cache, we found you, and "You shook me all night long" 8D
Nicely done, tftc

A nice little hide which would have taken some work to set up. Fits well in this location altho required a bit of stealth to avoid any Muggle suspicion - thankfully my shoelace came 'loose' again. A quick retrieve, sign and we were on our way. Thanks.
Out with 3LG and Clare007 for some locus caching
Afternoon stretched into night and there were some hours spent searching for a few caches which just did not get found!
All up between 3.30pm and 12.45am we had 16 finds and 7 DNFs
Some of these cache hides, if they are still in place, are pure EVIL!
A hide which had 3LG looking in other places first but it was still found
