A quick find on a rainy afternoon and our last full day in the Blue Mountains. Gorgeous old house and some very lively fairy wrens watching me sign the log. Tftc!
SurdiVisio and I were exploring Mid Mountains and headed home. Stopped here and found quickly it. Thank you
Were staying the night in Faulconbridge and checked the map to see if there were any caches nearby. This one is the closest. Reading the description about Everton House sure piqued our interest. After a little walk we were at GZ. The cache was easily sootted. We found a blank spot on one of the pieces of paper to sign our name. Its a good view of this lovely home from the main road. Thank you for the cache and showing us this place.
Came back for another day of Faulconbridge finds before it gets too wet. Easy find, my 10th of the day. TFTC
This was me and my dads first official geocache find. We thought it would be horrible and just annoying to find but its extremely fun todo and I didnt realise its been hiding around me all my life.
Very easy. We were riding up the big hill my dad said , I think i just found it there was no pen so bring one.
Found It!
A surprisingly quick find here. Not the style of hide I was expecting.

Driving from Richmond to Springwood and picking up some caches along the way. With so many caches to choose from, I randomly selected a number of caches that did not require a lot of bushwalking.
Cryptic clue but after a short search I had CIH.

Another find for aliendoods today, after some back and forth along the fence. Our drive back home form the blue mountains will take hours at this rate. Aliendoods are on the move
A relatively straightforward find after completing some ALs further up the mountains. Thanks for this bit of local history pandsa and for the smiley.
We are on a cachey 10 day holiday, starting off with 2 nights at Emu Plains to hopefully collect the new GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and some more of the Band caches north of Penrith. Then it’s 5 nights at Oberon to collect some of the many new & old puzzle caches that we have solved around the area, and also hoping to complete the Oberon Adventure Lab. After leaving Oberon we will be visiting Jenolan Caves, for both the caves and the Jenolan EarthCache, then heading to Katoomba for 2 nights to ride the Scenic World attractions (Railway, Cableway, & Skyway) and to do a few caches of various types plus an Adventure Lab. We will end the holiday with a stop-off at Wentworth Falls for some more caches and a couple of Adventure Labs.
Today is the last day of our holiday, and our planned stop-off at Wentworth Falls for some more caches and a couple of Adventure Labs has had to be cancelled due to wet weather, but we will still collect some caches around Katoomba before we depart. This was our 7th find of the day (day 10), and 180th find of the holiday.
On our way down the mountains we stopped off here to hopefully round our holiday finds count to 180. Arrived at GZ and made a nice quick find of the cache container, right outside historic Everton House. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. As we were leaving I snuck into the driveway to get a sneaky photo of the house.
And that's our last cache find for the day, and for the holiday. Next stop is home. TFTC pandsa.

TFTC. I found this yesterday in the rain. The log was wet. A nice quick find. I love visiting the Blue Mountains. I’m from the Hunter Valley.
Tftc - was looking around for about 10 minutes till geo dad gave me a hint then found
What an interesting hide! This afternoon as certainly been a history lesson for geoson. Tftc. No muggles about just super hard to get the log out!!
A sort-of PnG find on our way back from a few days in Leura. We parked, spent an hour in the ugg boot shop, then I popped down here to grab the cache.
The phone GPS had me heading for the wrong side of the road, where a knock-down-rebuild is in progress, but thankfully corrected before I could get too worried. A very quick find, in a safe location but I'm not sure it's the one the CO intended as it's in plain sight and doesn't fit the hint (note to all cachers: read the hint, even if you already found the cache, it's often got a nice pun or poetic turn of phrase).

After attending the CCE on the other side of the railway line this was one just a few finds as I headed back to Glenmore Park.
Thanks panda for placing this cache and the interesting cache notes.

After coming up to the Bluies for the Community Celebration Event in Faulconbridge this morning I managed a few cache finds before heading back to the Big Smoke.
It was beautiful autumn day in the mountains, just right for cache hunting.
I had already made five finds before coming here.
I had been here before and was keen to avenge my DNF and change that blue frown into a yellow smilie. On parking the geomobile I was horrified to see two vehicles pull up right beside what I believed to be GZ and thought my chance might be gone.
Nature came to my rescue with a bird with the most beautiful song flying in to the nearby tree. I actually couldn't really see it among the foliage but I could see the cache, strangely where I had looked last time but couldn't find it. A quick glance at the muggles in the cars and I could see they'd given up on me and my bird so I grabbed the cache. With the log signed and the cache returned to its spot I was satisfied and began the trek back to Sydney.

Found with Chippyddd on Day 4 mission - Blue Mountains NSW caches. Lots of rain today. Hint is very useful for a sneaky hide which well hidden from prying eyes. No room for SWAPS or drops. Both cache and logbook are dry. SL TFTC TFTH. Replaced cache as found ready for the next cacher. Thanks and cache on.
Day 4. No.10 find of the day, second last one of the Geo Tour of the Blue Mountains. The description is a little off. With an extended search, we. Mystic Seer a I soon had the CIH.
Thanks for the cache, pandsa

Took a little bit of wandering around to spot it. Had no pen so took a photo of the log. TFTC
Couldnt find a wood path or anything relating to the hint. Have to come back another time to find the cache and pet the cat. Shes very friendly.
Cache number 5 for me. Getting better at it
Still took me quite a while, but there were buses of tourists coming to the property so had to try and be inconspicuous!
Loving the history of places I am learning about while geocaching
Found a cute little fellow nearby too (see pic)

My pen struggled to write on the paper, and so all I signed was GW. TFTC pandsa.
This one had me walking up and down, the fence was my distraction. Once I got past that and widened my field of vision it was an easy find. TFTC.
This might not be here anymore.
I spent quite a while looking for it with no luck. There is a very new timber fence along the side of the property and some pruning has been done of nearby trees.
Might be worth a CO check with that in mind and no finds for 3 months.

On our caching trip to Springwood had this one on our list. Quick find by geo-sister. TFTC.
Found today on our way back home after our holiday down here with my family . FP for the unusual camo.
