Visiting the Adelaide region for a week from Port Macquarie. Today we headed out to the Barossa, with the main points of interest being a winery (of course), the chocolate factory, and of course the famous Geostuff. Caching wise we mostly targeted ones we had pre-planned on a list but ended up with some extras we happened to be passing as well. We ended the day with a handful back in Adelaide, and an evening walk to grab a few close to our accommodation. Overall, it was yet another very enjoyable and productive day.Quick find after following the hint. Had to evict about 10 bugs before accessing the log however. Thanks for the cache
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.
We found the 5th pole, but after extensive searching, we were unable to locate the cache if it's still here.
Found the fishing line but nothing was attached, dug where the fishing line lead but still nothing.
Not a metal tin but a container with blue lid.Nothing in it to trade or to write.
Thank you. Sam, Maisie and Grandad found your cache on 28/5/24. It was fun.
Whrend unseres Aufenthalts in Sdaustralien sind wir auch hier vorbeigekommen und haben unseren Namen ins Logbuch geschrieben. Danke frs Zeigen dieses speziellen Ortes.
I have hunted for this cache a couple of years back but it was gated off. Found the cache ( initially thought it was litter) now in its updated location, but it was out in the open and the contents were strewn around. There was no log so I put a new log in the little kinder shell in the cache. Hid as best I could as it is not magnetic. TftC
This was a quick find together with my wife Platzwart. The hint is still helpful, but it doesn't match the situation at GZ anymore. Thanks and greetings,Jan
Easy as with good hint provided. And cache was in open too.Adelaide day nr 7. Cycling around the beaches...I'm logging this hide as my 10631 find. Many thanks Seascout78 for a placement.
We stay another week in Adelaide and pick up some more caches Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU Tftc Seascout 78
We extended our stay in Adelaide after the MEGA Leapyear events and are still refreshing our memories, enjoying new places and doing some caching.Today we took off into this area. We found the cache and signed the log.Tftc Seascout78
Over from Perth for few days to attend the Leap Day Mega. This was a bonus day thanks to the Qantas pilots going on strike - I was supposed to fly back today, but got rescheduled to tomorrow. So hmmm... what to do with an extra full day? Well I managed to get the hire car extended by a day as well so I guess there's nothing for it but to tee up a few more select geocaches and an extra LGA or two! This was one of today's extras. Lovely area to explore and a nice easy cache to find. Was already quite exposed so tried to tuck back in a little better. All ok here! TFTC
New Cache and log book. Fishing line on the pole. Follow the line and PLEASE cover again with leaf litter to hide it until I can get a proper camouflaged contnr.
This geocache is clearly missing and abandoned by the owner and needs attention
So we checked all the poles and couldnt find it, by the looks of it a gardener or someone has gone through and ransacked the area as there was grass and freshly cut tree everywhere. Unsure if its still there or not. Will have to go back and check another time during the day.
Found with naughtybunny. Had a dinner nearby and saw there was a cache we hadn't done nearby. Off we went after eating. Was good as we really needed to walk it off! TNLN. Cheers.
#5846I'm in Adelaide for a few days with my wife and granddaughter. This trip is a special treat for our granddaughter in particular as we are spending quality time together. While GD and Nanny did the shopping thing, I went geocaching and this is one I found while scooting around town.A quick find here although I failed to count the first one of the five. I then realised my mistake when I couldn't immediately find the cache. With log signed, all was returned. Thanks for the geo-fun.
Nice fishing spot,My bike just decided to break so Ill be spending a bit more time here. TFTC
Found it! So windy and it had been knocked to the ground. Thanks for the fresh log book!
Coordinates changed from:S 34 58.464 E 138 30.618Coordinates changed to:S 34 58.461 E 138 30.629Distance from original: 57.7 feet or 17.6 meters.Once again the Council have spoiled my fun. This was a fun cache at the end of this little jetty where you could sit and swing your legs and watch the world go past. I've replaced the missing cache but now it's not as much fun but still a nice spot to visit.
Most of the wharf area has been blocked off so I had to put the cache somewhere boring. Sorry.
Found. This container looks a little worse for wear but it's still holding on. Tftc
Right where it should be. Thanks. Though contents too wet to do anything with. Tin not as rusty as some parts of the infrastructure.

Visiting from the Great White North getting some caches in the area in the one day I’m here for. Took me a second but when I redirected myself to the other side I found it. Left one of my favourite Canadian coin designs of the colourized depiction of the boat “Bluenose”. Don’t spend it all in one place.
TFTC as always

Nice find, very clever little spot, the hint didn't give too much away the book unfortunately was soaking wet when we got there, so might need to replace that soon
Hmmm… must have been a really high tide or lots of rain. The container no longer has a lid and it and plastic bag were full of water. I don’t have a dry bag or log paper to replace. Sorry. Did not sign, but TFTC.
Great little spot. There are currently 2 containers. One very old and very wet. One a bit newer (I assume a friendly cacher, not CO). TFTC
Might want to retrieve the older container. It's lost its lid and the logbook is very wet. Someone has put a newer logbook and container next to it, but could do with a food bag or something to protect it from inevitable water
A quick find with frmen1 once We read the hint. There was a cyclist nearby who was hovering...hopefully he wasn't waiting for those pesky muggles (us) to move. TFTC
Bit of circling and searching with tassie expat while exploring this interesting area. It's in good condition. Thanks for placing it.
I arrived in Adelaide this afternoon for a couple of days of work. I’m staying nearby so came across to the marina for dinner and a drink. I grabbed this geocache on my way back to the hotel. Thanks for the cache!
