Urgently needs to be checked out as nobody has found it since it was replaced. If not there it needs replacing and a note on the cache page as to what the status is. The other option is to archive it.
Searched with i-gotit today. When we found it years ago the cache was on top of/inside the hide spot - looked at all possible places on harbour side/inside of the hide spot and got only scratches. Am sure it's gone - needs replacing or archiving. CO hasn't responded to a NM in January.
Friendly neighbour likes my snaplock containers.
Sorry for no reply have replaced 4 times now, wonder what he is up to in the big white house.
Happy caching

Unfortunately we didn't check for recent logs before searching for this one without success. Pretty sure the cache is no longer here.
Had a good look around, admittedly at night but there was only one car went past. I couldn't see anywhere to hide a "regular" cache within the GZ zone.
no luck today. had a quick look around, but too many sunday-driver-muggles around to have a good look. We'll be back
Called in a month back and replaced cache,
However it is around the harbor side now.
New neighbours will be tricky to hide from.

No luck here either. Saw a photo and thought we would have found it so is it still here?
Cache hasn't been found for about 9 months - we couldn't find it today - perhaps the CO could check it ?
Out for a Sunday afternoon walk and decided to grab this one. Not too hard excepting the stream of Sunday arvo drivers. TFTC
A good chance to see the white house close up. Found on our bike ride into town. The GPS was having a few issues here, but we searched and eventually found.

I went straight for the bus stop and then realised there was nowhere to hide in the bus stop.. Didn't take long to discover it though. Found a wee Dolphin TB to rehide - maybe somewhere near the sea?
Took longer than it should have. Had to work around passing cyclists and a couple launching their kayaks. TFTC
Quick find with GPYess on a visit to Dunedin from Christchurch. GPYess found it first. TFTC!
Finally on 3rd visit! Will have to stay away from that area for a while now, have been feeling very suspicious
Walked around this one for a while, then there in was. TFTC #597 14th day caching in a row.
no luck here for us today, beautiful old house in need of repair, could be a lovely spot
Down for a weekend of study at Otago University. This cache was down the road from where we were staying. Have now got two extra fans for geocaching. The white house is up for sale and we did contemplate what each of us would do to the house if we brought it. TFTC//

I was in dunedin for the weeked visiting mum, and getting a bit of caching in.
Another that mum had already got, but we were driving past. So parked on the yellow lines... If there is a responsible driver in the car ready to move it, it's totally ok! And mum was staying in the car since she had already found it.
Nice and easy, rocked on up, and found it instantly! Oh yeah! Nice to see such a huge one! But pity that every time I find something decent sized, I forget my TBs at home! Pfft... haha. I seem to just have an ever growing pile of ones that need to be put somewhere! (And mum always passes on her un-placed-back-in-a-cache- TBs to me!! Pfft!! Hahaha ).
TFTC!!

Mildly creative parking was required to access this cache as we passed by heading towards the peninsula, fortunately there was very little traffic about, more on the water than driving. Nice quick find and and interesting read about the house nearby. TFTC

One of the more interesting spots on the Peninsula. Others crossed from the city and landed near here on their way to visit the Waverly Zoo and gardens. This area also had a red light district reputation attracting miners who returned from the Otago Gold Fields. The light has gone out and there is no trace of the Zoo left.
Leaving Dunedin with a drive around the peninsula. Some lovely views and caches along the way.

Third cache for the day found with friend's children on return trip from Broadbay. They too had a keen interest in this house and the older child had the pleasure of finding this cache. Thanks for the info, what a great site this house has and it'll be interesting to see it developed in the future (i hope).
This is a busy street, wonder what people think as they drive past and see people wandering around aimlessly poking at things. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Had looked for this one before but GPS was pointing across the road, however today co-ords were spot on. Found with debsnz
Was in Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with -gonefishing-, fozzmiester and agcnz on an 8 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 5 of the road trip. This was our last day of caching in Dunedin region and we wanted to go back out to the Peninsula and pick up a few more caches.
After finding GC3G70G - Sports Anyone? (Dunedin), this was the next cache that we had on our list that we wanted to pick up on our way around Portobello Road, as we making our way around the Peninsula, there is definitely some very expensive houses around here.
Making our way towards GZ, as we neared GZ we managed to find a parking spot not too far away from GZ and it was a short easy walk across the road to GZ and it only took a few seconds to find the cache, we were lucky as we used the hint as our GPS was point to a very different location. Managed to retrieve, signed and replaced the cache back as found.
Thanks ingidayna for placing this cache here and for bringing us to this spot, really enjoy the view of the White House of Dunedin. TFTC TNLNSL (5112).

Found as part of an 8 day NZ Mega Event trip. Day 5 - Our last full day in Dunedin which was mainly filled in by another trip out on the peninsular and a stroll on Flagstaff hill. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

Came here with fozzmiester, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees on a pleasant morning drive out on the Peninsula and back. The cache was a quick find - signed log, TFTC!
Found on the great post-Mega roadtrip with agcnz, fozzmiester and yeetrees. A great trip from Otago to Wellington, taking in many backroades and some fantastic scenery along to way to over 400 caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches we found on the way.
Thanks for the cache, ingidayna.
Thanks for the cache, ingidayna.
In Dunedin from Whangarei with flowernz for the MEGA having a great time finding some of the south caches. Really enjoying the locations the caches are taking us to. Heading out to the Peninsular today before leaving later tonight. Interesting history behind this house being here, shame it looks very neglected now. Found cache after a bit of a search. TFTC
Our last day caching in and around Dunedin with tikitour - today it was the peninsula's turn...
This house seems to me to have awesome potential for one of those classic do-up grand design programmes
and it would be beautiful.

Grabbed this one while on a run through the area with my Australian (and one kiwi) companions.
This took us ages, however SolDeLune came up with the goods, thinking laterally.
Thanks for the cache, impressive stack.

Another neat little find as we headed out towards the peninsula and the lighthouse. A wet day on our tour, but we manged to make the find. The lighthosue ended up being out of reach which was a little disappointing, but the drive was still worth it.
Found with ZsaZsa7, Winglen, fitzy_1965 and Rextrex (local NZer) on our trip around the South Is after attending the New Zealand Mega. We managed to grab a few caches on travels and this was just one of them.
Thanks for this one, another one to the tally.

Hmmm, after searching the 'other right' for quite a long time and feeling rather exposed to the passing traffic, one of our group crossed the road and had the cache in no time. Thanks inqidayna.
5499 + 591 = 6090. Day 3 of my week long visit to the New Zealand South Island for the NZ Mega 2012 event along with Sol de Lune, Zsazsa7, Winglen and RexTrex.
A general run from Dunedin out to the Peninsula and back caching. Spent a bit of time here - and then the other right side was searched for the find. Thanks ingidayna !

What an awesome place, so much potential. Shame there's little parking around it would make a great restaurant. Found with Emvy_us on day five of our southern tiki tour while attending the Dunedin Mega. TFTC
Found during 'The Gangsters' trip to New Zealand, being Big Matt, The Rats, steeba and myself.
The coords on this one were way off but after reading the previous logs we were able to find it in the end.
Thanks ingidayna for the cache.

A shared find with my Aussie caching mates Winglen, Zsazsa7, Sol de Lune and Fitzy-1965 as a part of the NZMEGA2012 experience and our subsequent tour.
We carefully searched the 'other' right before the find was eventually made. An interesting snippet of history, thanks ingidayna.

Coordinates changed to:

Distance from original: 42.5 feet or 13 meters.
Sorry this update is to late for the Mega. Had no idea it would cause so much problems. Disapointing to think some cachers would think it is in a garden instaed of a common hiding place.
Updated now. Happy caching

Found this cache as part of the Gangster's Aussie assault on the first NZ Mega with Big Matt, FarmerFrenzten and steeba.
This one took us a little while to find as we were searching in the wrong place for way too long.
Thanks

Our 6419th overall find.
Found on the "Gangsters" NZ Mega 2012 trip with steeba, The Rats and Farmer Frentzen. This was a tough one, the GPS sent us up a well wrong path but the cache was eventually found some distance away.
Thanks ingidayna for the cache. Stats for our trip can be found here http://www.campersdownunder.com.au/geocaching/NZTrip/stats2.html

Out and about with Darby&Joan. We were actually heading back to our motel, but when we saw other cachers here, we decided to stop. They had already been searching for awhile, so we decided to widen the search area a bit before giving up. They went one way around and i went the other and got to GZ a few seconds ahead. Lovely large cache. TFTC
Cache number #165 during the Mega expedition to the South Island. Lucked in here as others had already done the hard yards. TFTCSL
Out on a MEGA caching run with Karma Reprint and Team Gators. Spent a while here but managed to finally get our hands on it. TNLN Thanks
