after searching in the wrong area, I decided to search in another spot and just like that, the cache was spotted. thankyou for this fun cache!
as we wander through the land, grabbing caches and seeing the sights even occasionally catching up with friends

Found the container with a broken lid. Further up the hill was the ziplock bag all ripped and no log
Replaced log and ziplock container. Placed container up side down and rocks on top. Hopefully this will survive. Didn't have a spare container with me.

Today I headed north to get a few caches.
About a 50% win rate today on a disappointing day.
Co-ords are a bit out.

Saw cache but because it's winter grass is long as. If you want to find the cache come back in summer
Found on my way up to Clare for the JLWEvent. Thanks for the cache jamesta18!
Mr Tardis was out for a ride today, and stopped here to find this one.
I'm happy to report that I found the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
The cache name totally makes sense once arriving at GZ.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache jamesta18.

My GPS was definitely out ( using my phone) but the clue made sense, so we persisted. The top is broken off the plastic container and so it's full of water. Great place to be. We parked up the hill a nice walk down and up again. TFTC
Steep indeed, this would have been fun when it was still an unsealed road.
Two caches! I went with the glass one although I don’t think glass is permitted now.

No luck finding this one. Coordinates not accurate enough as lists it as being on the road
Quick find, not sure on the container choice tho, glass jars and bottles are known for starting fires during the warmer months. TFYC Jones Family
2 caches here!
Parked up and made my way over to where I thought GZ was but nothing found. Then realised something obvious out the corner of my eye sure enough it was the old cache covering the new cache here. Both caches are all good
Today I headed north to Angle Vale/Gawler area to clean up the remaining caches I had left to find in the area, despite the car saying it was 43 degrees majority of the day the car was nice and cool. Total of 23 finds.
Thanks for the cache

It would be good fun on a push bike down this hill. Thanks jamesta18 for the fun.
Thankful we didn’t have to walk to it!

Out on a beautiful day to cache and try our hand at Magnet fishing! After a successful "fishing" expedition with the magnet at the Kapunda lake, we made our way to Gawler. Arrived at GZ and made a quick find. The cache was half full of water and the log book saturated. Luckily we had our right on wet stuff pen so we managed to sign log. This definately needs a CO visit to clean it up. TFTC
Stopping a few days at Gawler Gateway today we headed to tackle a few surrounding caches in advance of the heatwave tomorrow.

Didn't know about this area beforehand, but the name made sense once we got around the corner. Views from here are absolutely incredible. Amazing cache, TFTC
Day 11 of an 85 day mission to get a minimum of ten finds for every day in the calendar.
Everything was nicely planned and prepared for but it all fell to pieces when I realised the GPS hadn't loaded as expected. After a couple of cache finds in Nuri it was a dash to something in the GPS and this one came up. A quick find after negotiating the nearby road works.
Thanks for the cache jamesta.

Today Trail 06 and I got together for a Christmas catch up and to find a few caches around Gawler. Can easily imagine little people and not so little people going Wheeeee but we resisted. Thanks.
Our geokids 'wheeee' on these roads too. Tftc. Log book is still damp and there was a small amount of water in the container too.
That’s not steep at all. Contents a bit wet though. Maybe that was the wee bit.
Thanks for the cache jamesta18.

Finally the back is on the mend and I am up to a day of caching. [B)] Joined Anymules for the day meeting near the toll gate and then cache to the morning CITO, then cache to the evening event in the Barossa and then cache back to the tollgate. [^] Time to grab all those puzzles and others that are on one or the others or both gotta do list. [^] A very full day with some very good caches.
I didn't think it was that steep really. You did check where the geodaugheter was sitting I hope. She may have actually gone WEEEEEEEEE. [:o)] Just kidding. Found the cache but the log book is getting a bit damp and mouldy Oh - she didn't did she [?]

Eye Spied, Eye found, Eye logged, Eye trinket swapped, cache replaced in hiding spot.TFTC!
A previous DNF is now a find. I branched out!
I cleaned up the cache and added fresh swaps! Log book is very damp.
Said hello to the friendly emu who was hovering near the cache. It’s guardian?

Oh no! The log book is a bit moldy beautiful spot though. There was a wild emu passing by
Today was a special day, with the aim to get JJ52's 3000th find. We set off early in the morning with a bit of a plan and hoped to get as many of Gawler's caches as we could. At the end of the day I had 32 finds and 2 DNF's, experienced my 4th visit to Gawler Fort Knox and found an old (original) MIA cache that had long ago been replaced!
We had a great day and lots of fun, and saw quite a bit of Gawler in the process.
I wasn't sure what to expect at this cache with the name but as we got closer I understood perfectly and had the "WHEEEEEE" experience.

Ismartis and I headed to Gawler today, somewhere I had not done any caching and I was on my way to number 3000 so it was a good opportunity to see some different country and earmark a special cache for my milestone. We set off with a rough plan of the caches we would try and find and ended up having a really good day with 34 finds and 2 DNF's for me. [^]
We soon found out how the cache got its name, would be interesting to go down on a bike but not so much fun going up.
Thanks for the cache jamesta18.
