One of three caches found in the Mt. Barker/Wistow area prior to an event in the city. A great day to be out and about. Weve had rain recently, and I did wonder if Id even be able to get to the end of the road in a 2WD, but it turns out that this road is very well maintained. There was a loose alpaca close to GZ, but he didnt seem to be going anywhere in a hurry. An interesting cache container. Thanks for bringing me here with this cache Are we there yet.

Today Courtneyrose_ and I headed to the hills for Parkrun at Mount Barker, after parkrun we drove around the area to find a few unfound caches. This cache was an easy find and lucky I was tall and able to reach.TFTC
On a very rare and special occasion, I was out and about with my lovely on a mid-week escape. The weather was lovely, chilly air, fairly clear skies and warm in the car. We left home at a respectable hour, wandered through the hills at our leisure stopping for a morning cuppa while taking in views of the southern coast. Great conversation and experiences at a variety of caches. We stopped for lunch in Strathalbyn and had a stroll in the shops and park after. I had not been caching in this area before so there were many to choose from, including a couple armchair solves waiting patiently.
After walking back and forth for the sequenced AL in the park in Strathalbyn, I reverted to normal caching until it was home time. We managed many different cache types and picked up a golden oldie to fill a gap in my Jasmer grid. All up a wonderful day with over 30 remote hills finds added to my tally.
Thanks for the cache Are We there yet. Cache in average condition. The original book had been discarded on the ground. I stamped it and put it in a new container. I then used the ladded to get up the tree and found the original container. I undid what I did, signed the new sheet and stuffed the original book back in the original container. doh see doh, and all back to normal. Find #8460 at 11.24am. I spoke to the farmer here, he knew of this one and a few others nearby.

Quick find as it was exposed to passing traffic. The cute container had been left open and the contents were a bit scattered. There was no log book and I'm really sorry that I had no supplies with me to pop one in. I stamped on the back of a business card that was in the cache, closed it up and popped it back in a slightly less obvious manner. I enjoyed the drive to this one, I like little back roads with big gums.

Staying in Mt Barker with iluvtrekking over the long weekend and caching in the surrounds. This is our type of caching - the suburbs are not for us! Thanks Are we there yet!
Another cache found with richlink during our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Today found us discovering the delights of Mr Barker and surrounding countryside. Thanks to all the CO for placing these caches

Another quick find in and around My Barker. Thank you for the placement of this cache Are we there yet! find number 7466 at 17 March 2021 12:03 pm
found after work clearing out a few trads before going home tonight. How is this cache not a t2? quick find.
Today, my plan was to hang around Mount Barker and explore the town and its surrounds. A Breakfast Club event kick started my day, and from there, I joined a small group to Mount Barker Summit to find a few of those geocaches. I then headed solo around the area to find a few more traditionals, and later ran into Wal & Ol who had also stuck around visiting a few multi-cache waypoints. I continued to check out the town's surrounds, and called it a day when it got dark.
End of the road indeed! Hoping I don't need to hurry back here after clearing out the area's geocaches with finds. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Are we there yet! for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

With time on my hands wait to move out of Murray Bridge I ventured into some of the features that Geocaching .com and GSAK offer but I have used so tody I went out following geocaching I made last night and this is one of those caches from the list. This was a quick find. Nice spot to pull up at on a cool morning. An extraction tool reduced the challenge for me. TFTC.
That’s pretty high up for a T1.5. Glad I’m not short.

Quick find in the obvious spot. Luckily I was able to retrieve without assistance. TFTC
It was a pleasant drive to get to the end of the road. Once there the hide location was obvious but not accessible from the ground. So our trusty ladder was brought into service and the cache was soon in hand. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Are we there yet! for the cache.
Yep - end of the road and another beaut spot here in the hills. Wonder how long till this place gets taken over by development. Took Dinosaur, left Lego. Cheers.
Out for an afternoon drive with the family, stopping for the odd cache amidst the busy Saturday afternoon traffic.
Nice to get off the main road for a bit and find some out of the way caches.
Spotted this from the car and thankfully the taller team members were on board today to complete the retrieval.
Didn't see any fauna but did see a few locals both in vehicles and on horseback.

Out for an afternoon's drive, stopped by your cache.
Yep, that's the end. Plenty of muggles too, driving, walking, riding horses...
In between them I quickly retrieved the cache using a handy pole, then
after signing, returned it with the aid of my awesome basketball skills
Thanks for bringing us here Are we there yet! , and thanks for the smiley

It is caches like these that I bring hubby along for, and he thought that it was because, ---------- I will leave it at that. He is tall and I am not, there was never a hope that I could reach this cache. Shorter people should allways bring along a taller person, is this not just another tool of the trade. T 1 x TB SL TFTC
Neighbours were somewhat suspicious to see a random woman standing on the ledge of her open car door, trying to reach into a tree. This cache is quite challenging for the vertically challenged. Left a TB
Found it with CherryRose on our caching day out. Glad she is tall. No steps needed. TFTC TNLNSL
End of a road and the end of a successful caching day.
Could see the cache from below, but needed my geo steps to make the retrieval.
Had signed the log and replaced the cache and was sitting in the car when the local farmer drove up asking if I was OK. [?] Told him I was geocaching and he knew what I was talking about so all good.

Decided to look for close by caches after dropping eldest off for horse riding, and a cache located 20 seconds away! Great start ! Beautiful day !
Find number 7 today, last one before home. Thanks to the earlier clues it was quick to see but harder to reach. TFTC
A bit of a mongrel to retrieve, this one. If we still had the Hilux, I would have simply nosed the bull-bar up to the tree, but had to rely on the Navara's side runners to gain some altitude. I still needed one of our hiking poles to drag it close enough to get my hand on. Got there in the end!
Thanks Are we there yet!

Found it, lucky my boyfriend is 6ft tall as I'm only 5ft and wouldn't have been able to do it alone Samadi + Rossi
This was a fun one to retrieve- we had to get our car close and use that to help us get it! It's now three degrees so we are off home! Thanks.
Found at the end of the July school holidays with geokids StunkyPanda2006 and gnomeo2007...TFTC
Geocaching day with daughter, S-I-L & baby (TT016) from Mt Gambier visiting for the Long Weekend.
To grab this one S-I-L used my stool. He thought he was tall enough, he was for the hide but not for a good replacement. TFTC!!

Mr Tardis went for a nice quiet drive and found the end of the road. Then I found the End of the Road in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens? A good thing I'm tall.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Are we there yet!.

I didn't read the description or see if there were any attributes which indicateed the need to be tall or have a ladder, but it would be handy. Struggles to get the cache out
Still got there in the end. TFTC

For reasons Owl still doesn't understand (but is not questioning), Eagle decided he would like to take Owl on a 4WD caching trip. Knowing he wouldn't survive one of the power trails Owl still has to do, she decided on a much more manageable little cluster near Mount Barker (which doesn't really need a 4WD, but it was raining.) Owl worked out where the cache was and then got Eagle to manoeuvre the car near it, then got him to collect it. Very handy these non-caching men!
This one was clearly missing so we replaced it in the logical location. (matching the hints, etc).
Found on the ground but replaced where we thought it had come from. Had to pass to my taller Geo-fiancé to reach the spot. TFTC
Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Currently camped with our Caravan at Kuitpo. We left our Cat safely tucked up in the caravan and set off to explore. We headed out today in a big loop that took us past Bugle Ranges and Wistow. Then through to Mt Barker for some essentials. The countryside is so green after the good rains and nice views.
Came across some roadworks on the back roads[xx(]
was one that we chose to help us explore the area so thanks very much Are we there yet!

Drove straight one of those evil ones on our way here. Funnily when we went back to that one there was a lady in the garden right across the road so we decided not to attempt it.
I didn't fully read the cache description but luckily we had Nat with us, who is Tall.
