Think I logged the whole series this morning but can’t be sure till I see smileys on the map. Installed new logs where needed (a few were mouldy), replaced caches that were def missing... one was just a base no lid or log. Got twigs in my hair, drove down a goat track (you know the one), consumed water and fruity chews, found a few on the ground, most were exactly where I thought they’d be Picked a zillion bits of speargrass outa my old runners.
A real pleasure to explore this region today

At home we are lucky to have an area called Tinchi Tamba wetlands that is 20 minutes from home that has millions of kangaroos. They are a awesome until the entire flock of 400-500 starts jumping at you because they done know what is going on but they just have to jump. tftc
Log absolutely saturated, wringing wet. After the nope rope encounter last visit, I can understand them leaving quickly and not covering it back up. I've put a new piece of paper in there and covered it more. I hope that helps.
Seeing wildlife in the wild always makes my day. Only one close/too close wriggly stick encounter so far!
TFTC and series, I’m done for today.

Day 5 of our holidays was an early start for the ability to cache all day. We uncovered some geo art, went on very interesting dirt roads, found out some local history and had lunch at one of Mrs IML72's favourite pubs the Gungellan Hotel from her favourite TV series. TFTC
Day 393 ( Friday 25th ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Greenock today. A total of 9 for the day and 7028 the trip. A grand total of 16,996 caches. TFTC
Thanks for the five oh series. I had a great day caching, adding some good numbers to my tally. I saw a number of roos up on the northern side of the zero.
No24 today so sorry for the generics but here we go. Here for the TDU 2020 and definately some intestate caching. Located all available of the 51 except for those in the 30s not listed. Thank you for the adventure and the challenge. The 4x4 section is overdue for a grader job. Cheers
After spending most of the morning and early afternoon in my car going from cache to cache, it was time to get my bike off the bike rack and get some exercise.
I parked near #35 and the set off on my bike to complete the 0 trail. Then moved my car to the 5 trail and again set off on my bike.
Not sure how many kilometres but in today’s heat, it was quite a work out for me.
All caches found. One cache needs a new container (#35) and about half a dozen had damp logbooks but still write able. All others were good.
Thanks for creating and maintaining this series- I had an enjoyable afternoon.
Thanks for the cache SEMIK.

While staying this area we knew we just had to do the caches in this series, plus a couple of others close by. All except one log was signed, all containers were replaced in position before we moved on again. There was a huge variety in the condition of the logs which varied from one that couldn't be signed, through to acceptable, good and some were excellent.
We decided to give a few caches a miss, as the tracks leading to them were deeply rutted and not appealing at all.
Many thanks go to the CO's for each cache placement.

The caches around here looked like fun, so we came along with goingplaces2 and had a good go at these ones. Some tracks were good, some were OK and some were very iffy. Logs were signed, caches were replaced and the job was done. TFTC.
WOO HOO!!! Found it!!
Another day of action looking for Skippy’s 50 with MyEagleEyes & MyLittleSpyEye!
In addition to the kangaroos, we also enjoy the sheep nearby, plus all the other farm animals we see while out & about!

On the way up to blanchetown this morning I stopped in to do some caching along the way in the back roads and finish off the 50 series.

Enjoying our explore of this area aided by geocaches. Couldn't go past the 50 series. Thanks for placing and reminding us of all the things we love about caching! Tftc
Hi there SEMIK.
We found your cache **"Five Oh - 24 Kangaroos"** today. (This makes our find count 22123).
Today we headed out from Kapunda to finish the "50" series We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds but please excuse our boilerplate logs - we know it's not really a good excuse, but we find it difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]
We found 27 caches today & DNF'd 2. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** Cache needed some maintenance, so we made the repair and restored the cache.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge in the majority of caches.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

TFTC found on this lovely autumn day while exploring the Barossa. JenneG and Budgy from Nth Nowra NSW.
Visiting Barossa with my Mum who is over from the UK . We had booked a lunch at Wolf Blass and a motel ages ago so still made the trip despite the 41 degree day yesterday.
With a cooler day on the cards today I couldn’t resist an early start this morning to head out and collect a few caches.
Finished the 50 series (started it 3.5 years ago) and found some other targeted caches.
Had a few issues with the new version of cachly absolutely did my head in and in the end resorted to using the official app which was giving me more accurate results.
Ended up with 32 finds for the morning and then back to motel to check out and do touristy Barossa stuff (Maggie Beers, 2 wineries and lunch in Tanunda). TFTC the caching this morning was a highlight of my Barossa weekend.

Back again, today, Sunday the 2nd of December 2018 to wrap up the '0'
A quick find of this one #24 "Kangaroos" at 07:53.
[before I go on, I can say all the logs {on the #0 of the Big 50} were in great to reasonable shape and are dry all bar the #50 cache, {Hiding Caches}, It's log was wet through]

For ease we stamped the logs as "Fabulous Randoms" today
A nice trail to do......the section in the middle for 4WD was a little hectic at times, but we got there. Overall an enjoyable and fun time was had.
Thanks so much for this series of caches SEMIK! [^]

After being out north on a FTF hunt the second part of plan B was to finish off the Five Oh series.
Found them all and even managed to drive the very rutted section in the impreza.

Hooray this is a great cache series for us from Melbourne to get some quick finds. Thanks for the series, we’ll see how many more we can get, while hanging around!! AnsMisty
Eye spied, Eye found, Eye logged, Eye left tiny trinket. Cache replaced in hiding spot. TFTC !
Originally we were only going to do half of these today but we found them so quickly that we decided to grab them all. Easy finds and accurate coordinates certainly helped. We didn’t attempt #2 as we could see the bees without getting out of the car. Caches 5-8 were a challenge as the road was extremely rutted but as it was so dry we did manage to get through with our high clearance vehicle.
Thanks for the trail SEMIK

Had come up to Angaston for a couple of nights with the aim of getting this series and a few other caches along the way. [^]
Started this trail at #1 and worked my way around the 50.
I found all the caches that I looked for but was unable to get #2 as there were some very angry bees at GZ one of which stung me behind the ear. Also did not try #5, #6 & #7 as the tyre ruts were too deep in parts for me to get through.
Apart from those, the caches I found were mostly easy finds with good coordinates. There were a few broken containers and some very damp moldy logs, but I was able to sign them all. [^]

After running in the Nuriootpa parkrun and brekkie what else to do ? Find a cache or fifty odd, most were quick finds, some were hard to retrieve from their hidey-hole and most of the film canisters need the log renewing as they are a sodden mess

Did this Five Oh power trail on the mountain bikes with the geowife on my 48th birthday, and thoroughly enjoyed searching for these caches. We found every one except "2 numbers" that was guarded by a beehive. Supremely grateful for these caches in a beautiful part of South Australia. Thanks to the CO for creating the trail and for Bearly Organised & Cherryrose for their timely maintenance of many of these caches recently. One of the tracks in the middle was only passable on foot or mountain bike or a 4wd with very high clearance, but we had great fun getting through them. Highly recommended series. Photos of the tracks are in Five Oh 1 People.
Found it with CherryRose on our caching holiday in the Barossa TFTC TNLNSL Replaced log because it was saturated.
Out caching with my good friend Gral4 today. We decided to come back to the Barossa for the second time in a week and started the day early with breakfast at the Big Grill .
All fueled up we hit the road again to see how many caches we could muster. Everything started off well but then we had water issues. We came across some wet log books and then we hit impassible wet roads so we affectionately dubbed today - "The Wet Ones Tour". It didn't detract from the fun, we had loads of it, it just meant we couldn't get to all the caches we wanted to do . I guess we'll just have to come back on a drier day!
In the end I found 60 caches We even saw some kangaroos!

## 'the wet ones' adventure! ##
Today I was out and about with Ismartis having geocaching fun before having to head back to work on Monday. We found lots, including this one, replaced some caches with CO permission, replaced a lid and some log pages, and had far too many DNF's. Lots of the caches were very wet so we ended up calling it a Wet Ones tour! All up a great day!

Backtracking now to tidy up the last few of the Nuri50. Time getting away from us and this one was tricky. It was looking like our first DNF but by hook or by crook, nothing was going to deter CacheClosed1847. TFTC #206

Day 3 of our assault on the peninsula geo-arts had us finishing off the two remaining series before high tailing it back towards the big smoke . Now that the weather was a bit better we might actually be able to use our swags [^].
I had been eyeing off an interstate trip for some time now and made plans to head to SA to power through the geoart trails over here . I roped in my geo buddy Krabiboy to join me and we set about solving [?] caches and highlighting Jasmer caches that aren't available over in WA. Our adventure took us from the CBD over to the Yorke Peninsula and then back across to the Murray Bridge area . We were relentless in chasing down the finds and picked up as many as we could in the week that we had available. Due to the park and grab nature of our visit, the log books which weren't able to accommodate the ink stamp we had made were signed with the initials 'jk'! Fave points will be awarded for those caches which are considered awesome
A massive thanks here to SEMIK for placing this cache here and for tempting us to venture over to this area. Cheers!
