Logs
After doing some caching a bit north of town we're making our way back towards our motel. A very windy afternoon and more traffic than expected going by but all good at GZ. TFTC
There has been some recent power line tree trimming here, but thankfully the cache has not been disturbed. And the late night logging is one of my least favourite things - having recently done a different powertrail & now this one, I have plenty of late night logging to keep me busy. TFTC!
Day 1 of a trip to the Barossa Valley to do some of the Five Oh and Barossa geoart series, as well as any others that are nearby. All caches were found in good condition unless mention otherwise in log. TFTC
I tend not to spend late nights logging caches, I prefer a nice meal and an early night to bed
Now that the main reason for our journey was over and multiple caching trails were completed it was time to venture home. Our Mob had gone separate ways. Only three teams left now us, Rapidlywild and The Drovers. We cleaned up a few more while in the area before making the slow journey home. All the others had previously completed this trail but thankfully they were happy to help out and drive around the loop again so we could get our name in the logs. Thanks for the hide and series Mattycat and thanks for a fun adventure Rapidlywild
Out to get some numbers early to reach 4K by the end of march. Who doesn't like late night logging? TFTC SEMIK & Mattycat.
Out in the Barossa today looking to clear out a few of the many caches Ive yet to look for in this areaA quick find, stamp and return hereTFTC
After doing the 5 yesterday, we're doing the 0 today. Early to try and beat the heat. Thank you Semik and Mattycat for the series.
Back on the road after picknick at the church. This one was found by Benjamin.

Out for a day of caching on a holiday weekend. We’re going to do the 50 trail and there was an issue back at the fifth so we’re shifting tack and this is our fifth for the day. TFTC
Found with Aussie M and M.
Today was all about the 50 series.
Ive been wanting to find this series for years. Sadly a few DNFs and some did not attempt due to the dry weather only roads on a partially wet day. Tftc

Think I logged the whole series this morning but can’t be sure till I see smileys on the map. Installed new logs where needed (a few were mouldy), replaced caches that were def missing... one was just a base no lid or log. Got twigs in my hair, drove down a goat track (you know the one), consumed water and fruity chews, found a few on the ground, most were exactly where I thought they’d be Picked a zillion bits of speargrass outa my old runners.
A real pleasure to explore this region today

Last night logging is one thing but what I prefer to do is drunk-logging. I write most of my logs at the local RSL after a few beers. It seems to loosen the vocabulary and honesty. I find myself logging after plenty of wines so it’s very close to the real thing. tftc
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Liz & Bruce. Blue sky day, so it’s a great day for caching. TFTC Mattycat

Came to the church service with relatives, so did a quick walk to find this cache. TFTC
Day 5 of our holidays was an early start for the ability to cache all day. We uncovered some geo art, went on very interesting dirt roads, found out some local history and had lunch at one of Mrs IML72's favourite pubs the Gungellan Hotel from her favourite TV series. TFTC
Day 392 ( Thursday 24th ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Greenock today. A total of 29 for the day and 7014 the trip. A grand total of 16,982 caches. TFTC
Thanks for the five oh series. All present and accounted for. A great day out racking up some good finds to add to my tally. I did this one after 4, as the dry weather road was untrafficable.

A quick find & the cache was soon in hand. However, the log book was full so we signed & dated a new log book & put both logs back into the cache container.
Happy Geocaching Everyone!

No30 today so sorry for the generics but here we go. Here for the TDU 2020 and definately some intestate caching. Located all available of the 51 except for those in the 30s not listed. Thank you for the adventure and the challenge. Cheers
After spending most of the morning and early afternoon in my car going from cache to cache, it was time to get my bike off the bike rack and get some exercise.
I parked near #35 and the set off on my bike to complete the 0 trail. Then moved my car to the 5 trail and again set off on my bike.
Not sure how many kilometres but in today’s heat, it was quite a work out for me.
All caches found. One cache needs a new container (#35) and about half a dozen had damp logbooks but still write able. All others were good.
Thanks for creating and maintaining this series- I had an enjoyable afternoon.
Thanks for the cache SEMIK.

While staying this area we knew we just had to do the caches in this series, plus a couple of others close by. All except one log was signed, all containers were replaced in position before we moved on again. There was a huge variety in the condition of the logs which varied from one that couldn't be signed, through to acceptable, good and some were excellent.
We decided to give a few caches a miss, as the tracks leading to them were deeply rutted and not appealing at all.
Many thanks go to the CO's for each cache placement.

The caches around here looked like fun, so we came along with goingplaces2 and had a good go at these ones. Some tracks were good, some were OK and some were very iffy. Logs were signed, caches were replaced and the job was done. TFTC.
Mr Tardis was out for a caching day to the Barossa and surrounds. A beautiful almost-spring day with sunshine and warmish weather. I wasn't planning on the 50 series, but I found 7 that were on the way to my destination.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache SEMIK.

Another day of action looking for Skippy’s 50 with MyEagleEyes & MyLittleSpyEye!

Out for a lovely day caching with IcingOnTheCupcake and Guz's Travellers. Unfortunately we didn't get to finish the 50 today as the roads were too wet. We will be back when they have dried out. Signed log as MIG. TFTC.
