Decided to get out of town to look for some caches in less populated places and this trail looked promising, still surprised by the amount of traffic going by though. A quick find at GZ, TFTC
I would love to visit other countries, alas my last overseas trip I had only just begun caching and it didn't cross my mind. Maybe one day. TFTC
Day 1 of a trip to the Barossa Valley to do some of the Five Oh and Barossa geoart series, as well as any others that are nearby. All caches were found in good condition unless mention otherwise in log. TFTC
I've visited lots of other countries, US, Canada, Mexico, been all over Europe, and never found a cache in any of them
Now that the main reason for our journey was over and multiple caching trails were completed it was time to venture home. Our Mob had gone separate ways. Only three teams left now us, Rapidlywild and The Drovers. We cleaned up a few more while in the area before making the slow journey home. All the others had previously completed this trail but thankfully they were happy to help out and drive around the loop again so we could get our name in the logs. Thanks for the hide and series Mattycat and thanks for a fun adventure Rapidlywild
Out to get some numbers early to reach 4K by the end of march. Something on my list of things to do. TFTC SEMIK and Mattycat.
The weather is getting very warmer, but I won't give up until the series is completed... I'm so happy to sign as an EV, and thank you for the cache and hunt. Some of the caches need TLC and refresh.. due to some damp log and damage to the container, etc..
Out in the Barossa today looking to clear out a few of the many caches Ive yet to look for in this areaA quick find, stamp and return hereTFTC

Out for a couple of days of caching on a holiday weekend. We’re going to do the 50 trail and had an issue back in the 5 so have shifted tack and this is our twenty fourth find for the series. TFTC
Found on a great weekend caching with friends. Have loved doing this series and discovering the back streets of the Barossa.
Found with Aussie M and M.
Today was all about the 50 series.
Ive been wanting to find this series for years. Sadly a few DNFs and some did not attempt due to the dry weather only roads on a partially wet day. Tftc

Think I logged the whole series this morning but can’t be sure till I see smileys on the map. Installed new logs where needed (a few were mouldy), replaced caches that were def missing... one was just a base no lid or log. Got twigs in my hair, drove down a goat track (you know the one), consumed water and fruity chews, found a few on the ground, most were exactly where I thought they’d be Picked a zillion bits of speargrass outa my old runners.
A real pleasure to explore this region today

I wish! I hope to begin international caching with a trip to NZ next month. Caching in a non-English speaking country would be awesome.
Ferocious cache guarding here, and I’ve made her angry!!
TFTC and series.

Day 5 of our holidays was an early start for the ability to cache all day. We uncovered some geo art, went on very interesting dirt roads, found out some local history and had lunch at one of Mrs IML72's favourite pubs the Gungellan Hotel from her favourite TV series. TFTC
Day 392 ( Thursday 24th ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Greenock today. A total of 12 for the day and 6996 the trip. A grand total of 16,964 caches. TFTC
Thanks for the five oh series. I had a great day caching, adding some good numbers to my tally. I havent cached in another country yet. Yet, October isn't far away.
TFTC Another quick drive by, the log was signed & dated but unfortunately the cache is broken so we have popped it into a ziplock bag before returning it back to its hiding place
No49 today so sorry for the generics but here we go. Here for the TDU 2020 and definately some intestate caching. Located all available of the 51 except for those in the 30s not listed. Thank you for the adventure and the challenge. Cheers container broken sorry no kit with me.
After spending most of the morning and early afternoon in my car going from cache to cache, it was time to get my bike off the bike rack and get some exercise.
I parked near #35 and the set off on my bike to complete the 0 trail. Then moved my car to the 5 trail and again set off on my bike.
Not sure how many kilometres but in today’s heat, it was quite a work out for me.
All caches found. One cache needs a new container (#35) and about half a dozen had damp logbooks but still write able. All others were good.
Thanks for creating and maintaining this series- I had an enjoyable afternoon.
Thanks for the cache SEMIK.

While staying this area we knew we just had to do the caches in this series, plus a couple of others close by. All except one log was signed, all containers were replaced in position before we moved on again. There was a huge variety in the condition of the logs which varied from one that couldn't be signed, through to acceptable, good and some were excellent.
We decided to give a few caches a miss, as the tracks leading to them were deeply rutted and not appealing at all.
Many thanks go to the CO's for each cache placement.

The caches around here looked like fun, so we came along with goingplaces2 and had a good go at these ones. Some tracks were good, some were OK and some were very iffy. Logs were signed, caches were replaced and the job was done. TFTC.
Ventured to the Barossa with LiB today for the event at Nuriootpa...
After the event and a trip to the new Chocolate factory we decided it was time to get some treasure hunting in...
We had just been up the guts of the 5 and after some challenging driving I completed those...
These were on a good road and the caches were quickly located...
I have found 130 caches overseas...I even found one when it was snowing in Germany
Thanks for maintaining this series of caches Mattycat

On the way up to blanchetown this morning I stopped in to do some caching along the way in the back roads and finish off the 50 series.
Nice and easy find TFTC

I travelled a lot before geocaching, so haven’t had the opportunity to go to too many other countries yet. Lack of a current passport doesn’t help either.
Thanks for the cache SEMIK.

Enjoying our explore of this area aided by geocaches. Couldn't go past the 50 series. Thanks for placing and reminding us of all the things we love about caching! Tftc
Hi there SEMIK.
We found your cache **"Five Oh - 49 Visiting other countries"** today. (This makes our find count 22126).
Today we headed out from Kapunda to finish the "50" series We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds but please excuse our boilerplate logs - we know it's not really a good excuse, but we find it difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]
We found 27 caches today & DNF'd 2. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** The containers and log books were mostly in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge in the majority of caches.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

TFTC found on this lovely autumn day while exploring the Barossa. JenneG and Budgy from Nth Nowra NSW.
Visiting Barossa with my Mum who is over from the UK . We had booked a lunch at Wolf Blass and a motel ages ago so still made the trip despite the 41 degree day yesterday.
With a cooler day on the cards today I couldn’t resist an early start this morning to head out and collect a few caches.
Finished the 50 series (started it 3.5 years ago) and found some other targeted caches.
Had a few issues with the new version of cachly absolutely did my head in and in the end resorted to using the official app which was giving me more accurate results.
Ended up with 32 finds for the morning and then back to motel to check out and do touristy Barossa stuff (Maggie Beers, 2 wineries and lunch in Tanunda). TFTC the caching this morning was a highlight of my Barossa weekend.

This has always been a fascination of mine, to visit another country.Although it is very unlikely to happen on my wage, I may still get lucky and it will occur... funny, coz I have solved a number of Puzzles in other countries lol. Why? I don't know I just thought i'd entertain the idea and got on a "Solving" roll, ha ha

This year our plan was to spend our "summer vaction" in Australia.
So arriving on the 7th November we took over the campervan and started our tour from Sydney to Adelaine. On that tour we found a lot of caches. This was one of it.
This part of the Geo Art was on our way so we could serach and find the uppper part of the 5 and 0. Thank's for this nice short Powertrail.
Thank's a lot to all CO's that placed and maintain the caches here in "Down Under".

For ease we stamped the logs as "Fabulous Randoms" today
A nice trail to do......the section in the middle for 4WD was a little hectic at times, but we got there. Overall an enjoyable and fun time was had.
Thanks so much for this series of caches SEMIK! [^]

Found them all and even managed to drive the very rutted section in the impreza.

Originally we were only going to do half of these today but we found them so quickly that we decided to grab them all. Easy finds and accurate coordinates certainly helped. We didn’t attempt #2 as we could see the bees without getting out of the car. Caches 5-8 were a challenge as the road was extremely rutted but as it was so dry we did manage to get through with our high clearance vehicle.
Thanks for the trail SEMIK

I have cached in so many fantastic countries; none better than Australia although Canada comes a close second. Thanks.
Had come up to Angaston for a couple of nights with the aim of getting this series and a few other caches along the way. [^]
Started this trail at #1 and worked my way around the 50.
I found all the caches that I looked for but was unable to get #2 as there were some very angry bees at GZ one of which stung me behind the ear. Also did not try #5, #6 & #7 as the tyre ruts were too deep in parts for me to get through.
Apart from those, the caches I found were mostly easy finds with good coordinates. There were a few broken containers and some very damp moldy logs, but I was able to sign them all. [^]
