I forgot what a nice walk it was around the Lake. There was no TB there, however I dropped one off.
An easy find but we had to be a bit sneaky in retrieval as a fisher muggle was very close by in the water. Took the TB's and dropped one off.
Yahoo! Our first Australian geocache! Could you hear our cheer? Dropped two TBs wishing to visit different LOVELY parts of the world. It'd be pretty tough to beat this place! Thanks for the fun on our walk this morning... Happy New Year from central Canada!
Spending a family day out here... Went for swims, games, and for a Geocache. Tftc
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Staying a few days in Maroochydore, Today we had some shopping to do towards Caloundra so cached around there. Some great locations we were shown thanks to Geocaching.

On the walk along the path down from the school, my wife and I were discussing how cool this walkway is and the retro-style of some of the houses in the area. She seems addicted to those renovation and property shows and guffed at how quickly some houses go out of style. Still a beach-front unit is appealing and I was secretly jealous on the inside.
Near the cafes, I wanted to go and have a walk in the sand but that was frowned upon in case some sand got in my wife's shoes and the walk was spoilt. I was also very tempted to grab a coffee from the shop on the corner, but I am always sceptical about a shop that sells coffee, and rents boogie-boards at the same time. I get even more nervous when I see a teenager working the coffee machine. I just realised that I m officially a caffeine snob.
We kept walking past the parents and kids and wondered how it must be to get a car park here on a busy day. It was close to 4pm in the afternoon and the place was still packed. We trundled on past like some of those old locals that turn their nose up at tourists.
We had to dodge a few cyclists and plenty of dogs off their leash before we arrived at GZ. Naturally my wife had to stop and pat a few of them on the way through. After signing the log, I said that we should both hit the sand together. Lucky for us there was a 2m square of sand nearby that we could stick our toes in. tftc

A lovely area to while away some time. It must get popular around here at times but I was lucky that there were no muggles around today.
A quick find in an obvious spot.

#4441. I flew over to Brisbane from New Zealand on Friday and spent two nights in Caloundra. Todays mission was to find a few of the nearby caches before driving south to Brisbane. Was very lucky to score a park close by as the beach is hugely popular. Nice pleasant stroll under the trees on a warm winters day. Snuck off the track and found the cache in the first place checked. Lots of muggles on this path so had to admire the scenery a few times. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for hiding the cache here GeoNinjaz.
Note Wellington NZ is hosting the "Wellington Geocaching Event 2018" on 21-22 October 2018. Hope to see some Australian cachers over there and give it a chance to become a Mega.

Tftc. Quickly found and stayed to watch the group of paddleboarders out on the lake. Took a stool sample with us !
First visit back to Caloundra in over 23 years, and my, how it has changed!!
I now live in my homeland, Canada, but lived in Queensland from 1974-1994, and spent many happy holidays at Caloundra, Moffat Beach, and Currimundi. Nice to return! Dropped a TB that I brought from Vancouver. TFTC

We parked near GZ and walked over.Their were many muggles walking about today, so extreme stealth was required . When the timing was right, the cache was discovered in the first place we looked . Thanks for the cache GeoNinjaz, enjoyed finding this geocache . TFTC!!!

Beautiful path along the lake. Quick find. Tftc! Found on a detour while taking my dog for a walk along Dicky beach.
Nicely hidden cache at a lovely location, we have driven past the lake/beach area many times on the way to Noosa but never dropped by.
In keeping with Groundspeaks motivation for Geocachers to write logs that consist of no more than 'Easy find, TFTC, TNLN I will comply with their wishes.
This find will be my 1763rd Geocache that I have located so that leads me to making use of the year that coincides with that number.
What you may not realise is that in the year 1763 the following events took place.
Feb 10 Treaty of Paris ends French-Indian War, surrendering Canada to Britain
Feb 15 Austria, Prussia & Saxony sign Treaty of Hubertusburg, marking the end of the French and Indian War and of the Seven Years War
Apr 30 Member of Parliament and journalist John Wilkes confined in the Tower of London, charged with seditious libel
May 16 Samuel Johnson 1st meets his future biographer James Boswell in London
Jun 2 Pontiac's Rebellion: At what is now Mackinaw City, Michigan, Chippewas capture Fort Michilimackinac by diverting the garrison's attention with a game of lacrosse, then chasing a ball into the fort.
Oct 7 George III of Great Britain issues Proclamation of 1763, closing lands in North America north and west of Alleghenies to white settlement
Nov 15 Charles Mason & Jeremiah Dixon begin surveying Mason-Dixon Line between Pennsylvania & Maryland
Nov 16 English journalist John Wilkes injured in a duel
BUT..... Nothing much happened at Carrumundi Lakes
Thanks GeoNinjaZ for nicely placed Geocache

Tftc. Nice walk. Did not try for #1 and #3 because of the DNF's and no finds for long time. Are they in existence?
Beautiful early morning find with sunrise over the lake. Nice little private beach not too far away as well. Tftc
Thanks for an easy find near the end of the day! I didn't try to find the other 2 in the series due to all the DNFs, so glad to find this one. TFTC
Wow and Wow. I did SO enjoy the walk from where I parked the car to this cache today. Just for that I am giving this a favourite point. I passed a bench seat under the overhanging tree that could be sat upon and have your feet in the water. If I'd had a book with me I'd have stayed here and spent some time. I found the cache and watched out for the guardian. Signed the log and replaced everything without the guardian appearing nervous, so that was good. Thanks GeoNinjaz for the experience to come and find this one today [^][^]
Lovely spot, great place for a dip. There was a rather large guardian at GZ so Mrs. Herbz let Mr. Herbz do the retrieving. TFTC
Out and about with GKTCRobbo......Park found quickly. Made our way to GZ and we soon had prize in hand. Onto #3. Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC!!!
Found this one this morning. I didn't get a chance to get the others in the series as lots of people around. TFTC
A few muggles about but managed to grab it quickly and move on to the third one in this series. TFTC.
Wasn't stumped with this one. Nice walk around the waterfront. Found a tb that might help us with another cache.
Another great cache find with cache partner for the day EggZachary. And bonus!! A trackable!!!
Called in here to pick up a key
Logs on TB page confusing
Still waiting to hear back from previous holder
Pretty little spot to go for a walk
Found a brain coral and a cuttle fish
Took honey sticker
Left green ribbon

Out for a spur-of-the-moment play day with Dutchie1950
We walked on from No1, enjoying the pleasant area. As we arrived at GZ I noticed a great spot for a cache and sure enough the cache was right there [^] Nicely done. TFTC, GeoNinjaz.

Found this one at a beautiful clearing overlooking the lake. A joyfully painted boat and cool water meant we took some photos before signing the log and moving on. Tftc.
We enjoyed the walk along the path, beside the lake, to pick up these 3 caches.
There were a few muggles walking their muggle mutts, in this popular area.
Many thanks for placing this cache, GeoNinjaz, for us and others to find.
