When will I learn? You just have to widen the search because the phone GPS is almost always out! Found and on our way!
Just about to do the Warby series TR series and decided to pick this one up before we start
Decided to bring the kids up the warbys for some exercise and they found this cache nicely tucked awayFound with bennyboy3677, tigerty and peytiecakes. Thanks for the fun
I have 3 main objective for this weekends caching run, first is to complete the final location for Adventure Lab Bollards Bonanza North in Whittlesea then secondly on to Ned Kelly County to get the final for Neds Last and Final Stand multi which has been on the to do list for ages but sadly when I arrived at the gate to start my walk I discovered they where doing planned burns and there was No Public access so I abandoned that and came to Wangaratta to finish off all the Adventure Labs and a few caches and then thirdly across to Corowa to get my Centriod cache so I can log the physical cache in Williamstown. After that I will be just free wheeling my way back home to Gippsland. Sl thanks for the cache. Thanks to everyone who placed there caches.
Mrs Woodyrothwell and I had spent the morning visiting Glenrowan, chasing some Ned Kelly caches and had finally made a visit to Taminick cellars. The cellar door and brewery are definitely off the beaten track. We were headed back to our hotel in Wangaratta to put the beers in the fridge and crack open a bottle of bubbles and yet we couldnt avoid this one lonely hide on the drive back to finish our day. tftc
In Wangaratta now for a couple of nights, and we are heading to some wetlands today. We were driving along this road and saw this one on the border of two areas, and so took a quick stop to find the Hide. Thanks mvrmy
Stamped as JAMS - JJ52, alllister w, mogni, sir_spectre. All of these teams are from South Australia and after some major planning we managed to find approx 700 caches while being away for a week. Also qualifiied for a variety of challenges, found LGA's and had lots of laughs. Found while attending the Victorian Mega in Rutherglen.
Thanks
Thanks
The JAMS team (JJ52 allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) were on a road trip heading to the Rutherglen Mega event (staying in Corowa) for 3 days then winding our way home via Albury, Wangaratta, Bendigo and various other places in between. It was a great week with many more caches found than we expected. There were targeted caches, challenge caches, Ad Labs, events and various others to fulfill various statistics for the four of us. We were lucky with the weather, it rained a bit on our way over on Friday, then half a day after we left Wangaratta but on the whole it was great caching weather. We did drive a few slippery muddy roads, but nothing too bad. We also caught up with lots of people either at events or out in the field and enjoyed many great chats. All in all a fun time with lots of Victoria explored and then very tired when I arrived home. [^]
We are now caching around Wangaratta finding caches to meet the A-Z challenge along with a few others.
Thanks for the cache mvyrmnd.

Driving around Wangaratta slowly getting all the caches for the A - Z challenge. quick find.
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

Together with TeamAstro, I am on my way to the Rutherglen Mega.
My geo-senses were asleep. I looked in the hiding spot twice without spotting the cache. TramAstro had to rescue me by making the find. TFTC

Found with Eudes at 1:40pm after we completed the Mt Glenrowan walk and made it back to the cars and a cold drink. Now to head off to the post-walk BBQ!
thanks mvyrmnd
thanks mvyrmnd
With the main group anxious to get to the summit earlier today, we left this one for our return to the cars. Following a few cooling drinks after the walk, Al soon had the stash in hand at 13:40 (with some guidance from Su who'd found it earlier ). And now it was time to head off for the post-walk barbie.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks mvyrmnd.

Out with Geowife and Geodog exploring the area, on our way to the Black Dog brewery. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
Fairly visible for muggles, one even signed it! No time for the 4 hr hike nearby.
TFTC. A lovely sunny morning to be out and about finding some caches. Our plans had been changed due to the heavy rains over the last couple of days. The tracks have dried out remarkably well. A patch or two of water at the side of the roads. Nice to get out . No issue with this one as we were on the bitumen all the way.
Family trip to Glenrowan today, despite living only an hour away we have only even driven through it and never explored and area. Loved visiting the different shops and learning the history of the area aswell as Ned's story.
Didn't have time to explore the Warbies today, but did stop to grab this one. Found on the ground so tucked it back into the obvious hidey hole.

The challenge was on to get 14 different cache types in a day as 15 was out of the question so I headed out with buhfuhguh to see how we could go.
We had now completed all but one which was to come later at dinner so we decided to find a few random caches as we came to them, this being one of them.
**Thanks to Bingley3683 for placing this cache.**

Disappointing to find the ridge track closed to vehicles so will have to be happy with just this cache, too hot today to walk in further. TfTC!
Easy find. Lots of Jewel spiders around. Had fun with the Geo Kid on this one, whilst reaching to grab the cache, The Stephenson5 mum was picking up leaves and sticks and touching his head or neck. Great laughs had by the two adults, not by the Geo Kid. TFTC
Geokid#3 made the find here. he was a bit hesitant of reaching in tho. Log signed and cache returned as found.

We headed over from Wangaratta to find GC26D1 [NED KELLYS HIDEOUT](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC26D1_ned-kellys-hideout) and decided to grab this one as we passed. My iphone GPS did it's usual spazzy dance but M checked out the satellite image on his android and soon narrowed down GZ.

Found myself down in Kelly country looking for some fuel before continuing on my caching adventures further to the north. Found while returning north to find some local caches. TFTC.
One part of our team decided to do a lazy 10km walk/sprint up this hill while the more sensible of the party enjoyed the Ned Kelly animatronics show in glenrowan. Drove up here to meet him and grabbed the cache. A hot wait in the sun and the adventurer emerged. Onwards to the high country. Tftc

This one seemed to take alot longer than required to locate, maybe cache blindness or my gps being a few metres off but what seemed to take 5 minutes for such a straight forward hide... Found before heading off for a hike up the road, thanks mvyrmnd for the hide.
Never stopped here before. Definitely a place to come back for a spooder hunt during spring. Found it and signed log. TFTC.
The last border cache I found was a couple of weeks ago heading into SA.
I found it on the SA side of the border, took it back to the car (a couple of meters away on the Vic side),signed it and returned it.
Due to the different time zones, it meant I had signed it half an hour before finding it and returned it half an hour before signing it.

Today I was heading home from Wodonga, having previously attended the Clear Waters mega in Queanbeyan. I targetted a number of caches spread along the highway to break my journey. I wanted to do the cache a lot further up this track, and didn't even know about this cache because it was covered on the map by the parking icon for the other cache.
I had a look for this cache before the hike for about 5 or 6 minutes, but couldn't find it. Upon my return about 2 hours later, I had another look and this time I was able to find it. Thanks to mvyrmnd for the cache.

We looked where our GPS told us to look and found nothing, so we then looked in the obvious spots, nothing we then started to circle the area and came upon some sticks poked in a hole and low and behold there was the cache. We are unsure if this is cache creep at it's best or perhaps our GPS did not like being out of bed at this early hour. Anyway here are the co-ords that our Montana 650t said the cache is at, S36 24.630 E146 12.629, in saying this it does not mean that this is the co-ords where others will find it. SL TFTC
Out with ptw312 to Winton Wetlands and on the way home he remarked he still hadn’t found this cache. So with the challenge on we decided to have another look. A few tips from other logs and we searched a little further from where the phone was taking us. Hey presto ! Cache found ! Another crossed off the list. Tftc
