On my way to Land Slip GC3MRHR to do some maint on it, knew that this one needed some TLC, decided to have a look.
Not where it was supposed to be, time to say goodbye, been a great cache while it lasted, never in the same place twice.
I'll never understand why geocachers have to find a better place for the hide.

We are sorry to put a dnf on this one but the tree hid the cache from us. We did give it a good try.
Family camped under GZ so managed a bit of a dig around but not a real good look
Had to boost the geo-daughter up to grab this cache. Lucky she was with us today. Never would have been able to grab it otherwise. Cheers.
Picked this up while doing a circuit around the place on the Mountain Bikes. There are some tough hills out there but a great day on the bike.
Happy to be able to log a find on this visit! Ordered some coffee from the van while we undertook the hunt. Out and about with Gon20s. Thanks for the cache, Sweet-Sour.
Spent the night camping with my family (Clan-mess) and a couple of school friends at this park. It is a great spot for swimming and relaxing.
Found this cache quite easily as it was in an exposed area. Moved it back under cover for the next person to find and left a couple of swaps.

Following an SOS from Wonder Wits, I had to visit here today to rectify the problem.
As soon as I arrived I could see the problem, some kind person had placed the container about 3 m up in a fork of the tree, it was in full view, great hide, don't know how one could return it to that hide. Definitely muggle proof
Signed the log and placed the container back into its original hide.
Please cover with some cameo, plenty available. [^]
Happy caching everyone.

Found the cache - but it's inaccessible. Appears to have been muggled. Messaging the CO with the details.
Looked for a while but came up empty handed in the morning drizzle, was going to drop off a TB from Townsville as well, great tree and park.
I am spending the Christmas break camping with friends and family at the Charlie Moreland Campground. After arriving via a very dodgy Postmans Track, which was a little precarious fully loaded with Christams Treats, and setting up camp on Christmas Eve, it was time to get caching!
What better way to get started than waking up early on Christmas day and heading out for an early morning cache with Say Wot. This was our first, and we finally circled our way back to the hide, after looking in most of the nooks and crannies that the cache was not in! After signing the log, taking a TB and returning the cache, we headed on!
Thanks for the TB Hotel! Its a pity the coffee van doesn't work on Christmas Day.

So many roots but HennyGeo spied it. On holidays from Vancouver Island, Canada TFTC
Beautiful spot. Take a picnic and enjoy. If you have a 4wd it is worth a trip to day use area for a swim.
Very nice picnic area/short stay campsite next to the creek. GeoLa had this one in hand in no time. TFTC
What a tree! Bit of a struggle but Mrs N cracked it after I had almost given up.
What a lovely area, there was a camper close by but out of view. Luckily for us it was in the first place we looked. After signing the log we decided to have our picnic lunch there.
This cache was found whilst participating in the Cycle Queensland 2016 Adventure Tour.
This park was our lunch stop before heading into Kenilworth for the overnight stop. When I arrived the park was almost deserted (I'm an early starter) with the area around the tree being empty except for two muggle friends who know I geocache. Wanting to demonstrate my caching cred I walked to where the GPS was showing GZ only 2m off and commenced searching making my way around the back of the tree. After a period of unfruitful poking my friends were in view again and they were laughing. A bit more poking and prodding and a few more buttress roots clambered over and I saw why. Doh. My caching cred is in tatters. They'd spotted the cache just as I'd disappeared around the other side of the tree.
I didn't see a trackable in this cache. Since it's been some time since the trackable was placed here I'd say that it has unfortunately gone missing. As the owner of this cache you can mark the trackable as missing. This action will remove it from the cache inventory and place it in the great cache in the sky.
Thanks for the cache sweet - sour.

Couldn't find it =(
Spent about half an hour. Although no phone service we had downloaded the cache before losing reception. Phone GPS was doing strange things, but looked well around the base of the tree area and surrounds. Maybe the last person did too good of a job hiding it.

What a choice of roots. Turned out to be easy. Found while mountain biking the Mapleton, Kenilworth Maleny circuit.
Left home early for a trip to Gympie and over towards Noosaville so that I could maintain one of my hides over near the lake and find some new hides over there. Parked safe in the parking lot here and walked over towards the Tree. What big roots you have and stated my search. The GPSr wanted me on one side of the tree but it was a bit flakey at that moment. Soon saw the conainer on the road side of the treee out in the open but still under a root. Very visible then. Not now. I signed the log and placed it further under with some natural cover on top. TFTC sweet - sour.
Snow Bear and I got this cache on our was home from camping at a near by camp ground for the night. On arrival we sat and waited a few minutes till a couple of muggle's drove off. Then we started our search which didn't take long. We got our names on the nice new log sheet and return it back the way we found it.

I had spent the day with the CO finding a few caches and placing some others when he said he needed to duck into this cache to do some maintenance on it.
He allowed me to find it first so that I could legitimately claim the find before he completed the maintenance. This was an easy find as the container was out in the open, not hidden or covered up whatsoever. It is amazing that the cache was still there.
The maintenance was done and I was able to sign a nice clean logbook. It was nearly like being a FTF.
The cache has been replaced and will be good for subsequent finders.
Left a Travel Bug.
Find #430.

Having picked up CDAH55 at Pirate Bones @ 0900 this morning for a trip out into West Cooroy State Forest to clean up my 3 remaining greens, deed done. Then onto Kenilworth and beyond for some maintenance and some new hides.
Thanks to Kirstiejeal for not placing a red spanner on this cache, and for finding the original container, it is a large container not a small. someone could find this original and replaced it with another different container. I should go back and find his/her log and delete it.
The container was found out in the open, who put it there???? can't point fingers.
What a mess, most of the contents went straight into the already full rubbish bin, container dried out, new logbook supplied, pencil removed, now BYO
Now all is with the cache
Please replace as found

Awesome tree but log book soaking wet so could't sign it.
With the Woolley Warriors.
With the Woolley Warriors.
Unfortunately we couldn't sign the log as it was too wet please note the the Woolley Warriors & our hunting buddies (Geo Johnson's) have been and gone with no log entry On the bright side, what a breath taking place.
Could the next finder please dry out the container, and maybe leave the logbook in the sun and breeze for 10 min to dry it out. The container is large enough for any size Ziploc bag for the logbook.
Please remove any sharp objects, e.g. pencils and pens, BYO. They only end up in the bag - result - wet logbook. For me to change the logbook it is a 200km round trip.

Log was too damaged to sign. Water in container. Didn't have anything to replace but owner should check and maybe replace.
Out for a Sunday drive with GeographyMan and the rest of the family, thought we'd do a spot of caching while we were out this way. I managed to spot this one pretty much strait away. A very sneaky hide.

No reception for the phone here but we found what we thought might fit the hint and investigated with so many geokids that we were sure to come up with the goods. No one did until one of the adults suggested another nearby spot and yeehaw! There it was. TFTC
With no GPS and no mobile coverage thought this one might beat us but hawkeye spotted it quickly. Thanks for the cache. Found with Secret7(P).
Yay!!! Finally found it.
We tried a couple of weeks ago while camping here overnight, but had no luck what so ever. Having no mobile service and a GPS that wasn't playing nice didn't help.
Today I was determined to find it, even after slipping down the creek bank and bruising my tail bone

Drove by with The-Shredder and stopped for the Cache. Grabbed the Bicycle TB and now no one inside anymore. Don't know what happened to the other two TBs.

We love to take our caravan up the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. So we came here this time with our granddaughter and spent a lot of time at the Yabba creek, throwing pebbles into the water, played in the sand, watched frogs, lizzards, and Kookaburras, kicked the soccer ball, had a rest on a blanket in the grass: short: we had a wonderful time up there.
Beginning July we met Slow Puncture here, and as we noticed a little group of people surrounding the huge beautiful tree, we found this cache already first time on 7.7.15 - but could never logged in here, because it did not show up on our map. Since we are premium members: voila .... it's there! So we signed the log book today again. As it is a travel bug motel, I took Bugs Bunny to travel with me, and left the Blue Bicycle of Australia: may be someone wants to ride it down the range!

Fabulous tree. Pretty sure you could hide a small child under some of those roots! Dropped off a travel bug. TFTC.
What an impressive tree. Quite the biggest root structure we've ever see. A beaut spot for a picnic. TFTC

Now this is the type of cache that's much better in a group, which is what we had today. Fanning out around GZ, though I'll admit I was still staring upwards at something and pondering the likelihood of it being the cache, it wasn't an easy find but the group made it easier than it could be. Plenty of muggles enjoying the weekend here by the looks of things, making me grateful for the protective camo of a bunch of geocachers. TFTC, Sweet-Sour. =^.^=
Brother Colin is visiting for a few days, as we have a big hike today with some friends, and an Event tomorrow [^]
After the big hike, we all drove out together to grab this one. It's a busy spot today, but the muggles were mostly oblivious to our searching. Having a previous finder with us made it oh so easy! TFTC, Sweet-Sour.

Kerry from Slow Puncture invited me to accompany them and a few others to walk up Mt Allan.. After the walk, the group made their way to this one. The cache was quickly located and the log signed. i didnt bring any TBs with me today, so couldnt leave any and this Motel.
Last stop on the caching trail today and the find was made while most of us were gazing intriguingly at a bat box hanging in the tree.

Saturday. Both Slow Punctures ventured north with some other members of the Northside Puzzle Group: Angela & Dave from Team DNA, Brother Colin, Wanda from Selva Girls, La Kedi, IolantheK and T-Tech. Our quest? To storm the fire tower on top of Mt Allen and also find a cache there, in reverse order.
Having achieved that goal, and having found this one previously, we stood back and watched as the rest of the group made a quick find. Wish it was this quick the first time we got our DNF here [xx(]
This was the 1st of 2 caches we found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]Sweet-Sour[/Blue], for showing us this interesting place. Yet again! [xx(]

Smilie #2316
Linden/6, Slow Puncture & Sweet & Sour arranged a little foray into the jungle for today in the hope of adding a few smilies to our maps.
Well, here we are!
Back at our starting point for the day.
We had spent a bit of time fossicking around here earlier but as we were keen to get into our planned run we decided to leave this one until we returned.
Here we are! We've returned! LOL ...
OK, let's get serious here. Around & around & around & ... is it still here?
We almost walked away but then the magical Mrs Slow Puncture issued forth an 'I've found it!'
You little beauty!
Log gratefully signed & replaced (in the presence of the CO) & placed back in it's cosy nook.

With Linden/6 , Slow Puncture and myself in Linden/6's Great Wall 4x4 we attacked the caches in Imbil State Forest and Conondale National Park today.
While I was transferring my gear into Linden/6's 4x4 for our adventure today, Slow Puncture and he had a look for this, with no luck. We will have a better look on our return.
On our return after a successful day, I joined them after I had transferred my gear back to my ute.
Slow Puncture had the pleasure of yelling 'Found It' talk about cache creep, I know I didn't hide it there. No wonder it has a few DNF's, still it makes it muggle proof. and I've up the D/T half a point for it's new home.
All with the cache

Monday. Kerry from Slow Puncture ventured out with Linden/6 and Sweet-Sour to raid some caches in and around the Conondale area.
Okay, Luke and Kerry and Hum Bug had been here previously, and had a DNF. Not happy then Jan
Today, Dennis and Kerry looked again as the CO stood and watched. We looked and looked and looked and then Kerry finally found it. It wasn't there when we last looked! But glad it was now!
This was the 4th of 6 caches we found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]Sweet-Sour[/Blue], for showing us this beautiful tree. This where Linden/6 and SP left Sweet-Sour behind as we headed back home.

Austpark and I have been to Thailand to see my brother and of course some caching! I brought home 3 travel bugs. I have just left 1 TB here.
Went for walk across the road before attempting this cache, sat under the tree with lunch watching muggles come and go, mostly they were only interested in getting back to their muggle-o-biles. Finally started the search, and found within 8 metres of GZ. Have sent cords to sweet-sour, just incase they want to check it out.
Found nothing in side, definitely no TBs, no swappable. TNLC

Didn't find it, but sure we found the guardian it was attached to. Might need checking this one?
Tried again today but with no joy even though the resident muggles were far enough away not to bother us. Can anyone give us a clue please ?????
Really should have created a pocket query before heading out found this one despite only seeing it as blue on the map.

Out at Kenilworth and the cheese factory with thehairbear and we continued on to have a look for this one that I missed last time I was out this way. There were a few muggles about but they were too far away to see us at GZ. This time I used my GPS and stood where it had GZ and a short search and the cache was in hand. I had a chuckle as I retrieved the cache and wondered how it was missed last time.

Out and about testing a new GPS. I now have a Garmin 78s, instead of a 76s. At the moment, I'm not too impressed with the 78s, but I think it will be better in the long run
Was spot on for this cache.

Drove the Blackall Range loop with Dad and Monika. I realized about a mile from the house that I had left my GPSr in the other car. Oh well...
But my cellphone had static maps of most caches along our route so I thought we might be able to find a few if we were lucky.
This was our first attempt. Way cool tree! And I found the cache in the first spot I checked. TFTC! [B]810

No one about today so we were able to examine this beautiful tree at our leisure. Happy to say this is my 100th find since I started this caper. TFTC.
Being a long weekend the area was crawling with muggles. Lucky we have a 3 y/o who can you pretend is practicing her climbing skills going up, down and over the tree roots whilst we all sneakily looked for the loot. Except she did keep yelling out "have you found it yet". Didn't take too long to find. A lady camper came over and asked if we had lost anything (just after we had found it!) and I launched into a story about wanting to collect fig tree seed to propagate so that I could put some trees on my property at Coolabine. She seemed very interested in my story indeed! What a great area. What an amazing tree. Thanks for bringing us here . . . eatmorchikin
I was heading home after attending the get together in Gympie yesterday and took the Mary Valley Highway to get a few caches.
The area was muggle central with campers everywhere and even a snack van parked close to GZ.
I started a search but there was a muggle watching me closely so after I located the cache I showed him and explained geocaching to him. He was very interested.
I didn't feel that the cache was secure enough to place any TBs in it.
