Found when taking a break from the music muster..Tried this one last Muster. No luck then. Got it his time with more searching TFTC
Hanging out at a friends place, he had a meeting in Bungendore so decided to come in and find as many caches as I could until he was done. TFTC
Did not take too long for the youngest daughter to find this one between muggles.
Went to the recommended parking spot, but it was obvious that that was not a good idea, so went into the housing estate and found much easier access via quite a nice park. Quickly found in the first place I looked.
Thanks
Thanks
Found this cache today while on a day trip to the coast with Ambi666 Found a few caches along the way, and also a couple in Batemans Bay.
Looked in every other spot, and this corner was literally the last. Oh well at least we found it in the end it was only about 5 mins. Need to look quite hard if you want to see it before grabbing. Looks like the log is a bit damp, the container could be upgraded to a Sistema or something similar thats waterproof.

Quick find. What I love about geocaching is you find places you wouldn't see when passing through a town. TFTH
Watch out for muggles with this one. The log was damp and dirty but has somehow survived the seasons.

Another beautiful still winter's day. I decided to head out to Bungendore via Bywong/Wamboin. A well hidden cache.
Thanks for the cache Agent_Quack

The sunny day was too good to waste so I decided a countryside geomission was in order
Nice easy find after the short stroll from the car in the evening.

After competing in the ACT orienteering champs east of here, it was time for some caching. A short stroll to this one, but then had to wait for muggles to depart. Cache easily found. TFTC.

Tried this one once before but there was a muggle stashing something under the bridge, so was keeping a very close eye one me.
Much quieter today, though a few muggles liking that path for a midday walk. TFTC Agent Quack. Quick find.

I was in Bungendore for an hour while my wife was visiting a friend - what a golden opportunity to stretch my legs and find some caches. Thanks Agent Quack - the log is a bit damp but otherwise OK.
Easy to find, (the hint helped). I got a few funny looks from some people walking their dog while the Geo-kids were shouting "Muggles", thanks AQ.
Hatten heute unser erstes Zusammentreffen mit anderen Cachern an diesem Cache. Viele Grüße an RoddyC, die auf der Suche nach der Dose die Erfolgreichen waren.
At the GZ we met RoddyC and gad a nice talk about our geocaching experencees. Thanks for showing us this place and the cache. #3777
We were out visiting friends both at Bungendore and Braidwood and found this cache while we were out and about - what a wonderful area, we loved the history and beautiful area. While heading back to Canberra we managed to find to few caches as well [^][^] Thanks to Agent_Quack for placing this cache.
Nice quick easy find, and I like how the nearby rock (well, one of them) provides a nice easy place to sit without attracting too much attention to yourself. We needed it with a few passing muggles coming past over the bridge on a nice summer's afternoon.
Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found between Bugendore and Nelligen. You gave us a very pleasant day! Greetings from Belgium.
Found this but was unable to get the log book out of the container. Maintenance?
Looked on one side - nothing. Looked on the other side - well there's something there, but surely that's not the container, it's not attached, and it just looks like it's been washed up there. I checked it out anyway, and it was the cache! Doesn't seem very secure there.
TNLN - Thanks Agent_Quack

We stopped nearby for lunch & strolled across to this one afterwards. A dog walking couple stopped us searching for a short while before the find was made. All good.
Out early this morning to grab a few caches in Bungendore while the family still sleeps. Searched with no luck, then checked recent logs to see a long line of DNFs.

Had a look around GZ, under as well all to no avail. Read the previous logs and decided to call it. As I was walking back onto the path, I noticed a small metal tin glinting in the sun about 10 - 15m away from GZ. Not expecting it to be anything, I nudged it with shoe, brushed off some dirt and peaked inside. Found some pretty ruined paper - what could be a log, and why else would there be an Eclipse tin with paper stashed inside it around here?
Placed the tin where I thought it was meant to be and continued on my way.
TFTC - still not entirely sure whether it WAS the cache, but it matched.

Was in town with furfacesLL who had already found this one, unfortunately it looks like it has been muggled.
We looked and looked and looked but couldn't find. Will need a few more micro finds so it is easier next time we visit Bungendore. Oh well. Did find 2 out of 3 micros today
2013: 258 Days In A Row - A bit of a road trip to find some caches away from home. As we approached what we thought was GZ the GPS was telling us we were still 50 metres away... Another look at the GPS showed we were in the automobile mode, and it was directing us to the nearest driveable path. A quick GPS tweak and we were 4 metres from GZ. Fraggles made the find soon after. We enjoyed the sun and sat down on the grass to sign the log. A nice pleasant spot. Thanks for the cache.
A very nice area here. A quick pick up for a nice walk to the next one. TFTC!
Decided to head out Bungendore way to collect a few smileys. Not sure if we should have entered the "road", but we parked and walked the last 100 metres or so. Worked out where we should be, quick search and the hide revealed itself. Locals walking their dog was being swooped by the plovers, so care should be taken if you approach across the field. TFTC
This one took a bit of scrambling under and around the bridge, but eventually BatgirlandCo worked it out. TFTC!
A glorious sunny winter's Sunday was just right ofr a bit of a trip out to Bungendore with Doppelfrog and Elvis the geo-hound for lunch and a good long walk. Found the cache with no problems after a good long run in the off-lead area.
Gave it 10 mins in the cold cold rain but could not find!! Very much rubbish in the creek including pink shoe... muddy under the structure : high risk of clutzy me sliding into festy waterway. Ill be back
7003. [green]I think I drove to where I shouldn't have but only discovered when I got out. My excuse was it was dark... A quick find with good co-ords after a paddle from Nelligen to the Bay and back. [/green]

Between a few passing muggles & lots of spiders inhabiting likely hides, got too nervous to continue search. Will try again on another day of m/bike riding & cache hunting
Found on our trip to Neligen. We tried finding this a few weeks ago but we had no luck. However, I have a friend from school who is really good friends of the owner. So after a few texts on his phone, I got a better hint on where the cache was. So as we were driving through Bungendore today, we tried the cache again. This time the cache was quickly found - I'm sure I looked there before! Very nice hide. The container and it's contents were a little wet, but it's surviving. Good one. TNLNSL. TFTC Agent_Quack!

Be careful when finding this cache as there is a high risk if snakes and spiders.
It probably wasn't smart to tackle this one the day after heavy rains and snow in the area. There was a little river flowing freely through here, but that didn't stop us taking our socks and shoes off and rolling up the jeans and getting wet. OH MY! That water was COLD! Did I mention this place was covered in snow 24 hours earlier?!? I had my geoteen and 2 of his friends who are new to geocaching and they didn't want to give up, so we got muddier and wetter for about 30 mins. While I was out of sight, trying to (unsuccessfully) reach a spot I hadn't searched yet, a man walked by and began to accuse the boys of being up to no good.....until I popped my head out and assured him that they're with me and we're just looking for something. In the end we admitted defeat and will return when there hasn't been any rain and hopefully when some of the debris has washed away.
A great little spot for a cache.
Found after some effort so this was a rewarding one.
