With a couple of days free, I decided to head off on an overnight solo caching and camping trip.I targeted a few caches of interest, including this one.The cache and contents were found in good condition. Thanks shonkylogic for the cache.
Out this way on my way home from visiting my daughter in Mildura and the Grandkiddies.Decided to call in on this one. This one had me stumped and thought maybe buried under the fallen tree. Eventually foundTFTC SL
Woot woot time for another Tuesday Trekking.A Confused trio, consisting of a Ttrogg, Rat and a Starfish. The plan for today was for the Starfish and ttrogg to meet up with Rat at her nest. Then cache our way to and around the Riverland. We had lovely weather, stories and laughter. This was one of many cache finds on our journey.Unlike Eric we were straight. This took longer than it should have to find, but find it we did.Stamped the logbook and returned as found. Something special or unusual goes here:We were about to give up as Eric's fallen tree had recently had plenty of branches chain sawed off. But then we found the cache still safe and secure. The Generic Bit:The usual trio of puzzle solvers were available for Tuesday Trekking today. I met Ttrogg and Mrs. S.A. Sewer Rats at the rat's nest. We headed of towards Gluepot in search of puzzles and anything else we came across. [ As usual a few caches to do along the way and before we knew it we were only at Lock 4 for a picnic lunch! [^] We did make it into Gluepot eventually and found a few caches there in the afternoon. Still plenty to do means we will have to come back! ***Thanks shonkylogic for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Catching up with late logs. After having a great time on the York Peninsula doing a few of the series over there we were traveling back home with micaparamedic and as we had a little bit of time up our sleeves we thought that we would venture off to an area that we don't often get near.We really enjoyed the drive along this road with quite a bit of wild life and the rain held off until we were back on the bitumen. The cache turned out to be a reasonably quick find and after adding our names to the log we returned everything as it was. Many thanks shonkylogic for the cache, we enjoyed the story on the cache page..
Stopped by and replaced the cache container as the old one was no longer straight. In fact it was cracked and shattered.
Please cover the new one after replacing to protect it from UV.

Off to Rutherglen for the meha. Fifth trip over the Nullarbor in the last 12 months.
Came this way to finish a long multi from WA. GPS kept trying to send me cross country as I approached from the west. Lucky I saw the line of green caches coming from the highway like a landing strip.

Found on our way on a caching trip with two nights at Gluepot Reserve and one night at Morgan Conservation Park. The main aim was to find all caches in the Gluepot area, with the added bonus of locating others along the way. Thanks for the cache shonkylogic!
Day 3
Found while caching with -Beaker- and Kellmik on our SA Easter rampage.
Camping in Gluepot we took advantage of all the caches in the area showing us many facets of the reserve.
Couldn’t get any closer to the road if you tried.
Thanks shonkylogic for the placement.

A weekend with Hellyonfire and Tonka had us racing all around the Riverland area. Today we spent the time zigzagging around Gluepot Reserve.

After two days birdwatching in Gluepot stopped for this cache on the way out. TFTC shonkylogic.
Found on my first visit to the Gluepot reserve on a FTF hunt. Another nice area I'd never have got to if it wasn't for geocaching.
Lid was cracked and cache had been waterlogged. Did what drying I could, left wet log out of zip bag and placed cache upside down, but log will probably never recover.
Thanks for the cache shonkylogic

Found It!
A quick find as I was driving straight past. Why can't the rest of this road be just as straight?!

After a night camped at Bellbird, we leisurely packed up and began a drive around Gluepot Reserve. No walks for us today as we have some miles to make as we continue our journey north to the Mega Event in Alice Springs.
Time to leave the reserve and continue our journey to the mega. Thanks for the chucle over this bit of history.

Needing a day out and a change of scenery, I tried to find someone to come caching with me ....... the only willing victim...Oops, geocacher, was Andy Colombia
Having warned her that it would be a big day, I still don't think that she quite expected to be picked up soon after 8am and then returned at 12.56am... the following morning [)]
About 700kms of driving, 18 caches found including 3 FTFs and some awesome fun drive along a 'not quite a track' track under clear and star filled skies in my Corolla made for a massive but brilliant day [^]
Thank you heaps for the great company, Andy Colombia [:X]
Unless mentioned otherwise, please know that your cache and log book was in good condition.
Never drink and drive... you just might spill your drink!
We had a brilliant drive today and didn't hit any trees or anything else either!
A quick find right next to the car door

Out for a Sunday Caching Drive lets see where we go today, we started off packed the ute with sliced Meat, sliced cheese, sliced beetroot and gherkins to make sandwiches but mum as we arrived in Burra said oops forgot the Bread so on the way we need to remember to buy bread so we can make sandwiches for lunch. So off we go from Burra the day over cast looking like rain but Rain does not stop Caching does it! Anyway found easy. TFTC

Driving past and the container was GONE! how could that happen? Poor Eric. I've replaced the container.
The Parrot went for a drive with Shonky and Freddo to Gluepot reserve for the weekend.
Stopped here to find a cache along the way.
It was getting dark when we made it to this one.
I was able to read his history and see a sign in the education centre at gluepot.

Pulled up within a meter or two of GZ, so it made for a super quick find as I was racing the setting sun to exit the reserve. Thanks!
Well, I guess that's the answer to the question.
A simple find on my way to Glue Pot.

Nice straight out cache to find, nothing shonky about it at all - or is there? Thanks to the cache owner
Indeed, Eric IS straight, although his driving may not be . Nice easy find on the cache. Swapped the keyring for a couple of AA batteries. Cheers Shonky, great to catch up with you and Noel again at the event [^].

Nice easy find on the way back from a Fowl Time at Gluepot. Eric might have been more eccentric than straight. James found this - after a woman's look. tftc
A typical country yokel story, sounds like Eric would have been a good bloke to know.
Thanks for the cache shonklogic.

It's a long drive out here, so in the 'good old days' it wasn't uncommon to have 'one for the road .'

FTF!!!
We didn't even realise this had been unfound, it just came up on the GPSr as we were driving past on our way to the Gluepot event. A great story about Eric, and nice to see there is now a proper sign to remember the incident! Thanks for the cache shonkylogic.

Drove by on the weekend and checked the cache. Still in its hidey hole waiting for the first finder!
