I've been meaning to do the 4 km hike in the Hale Conservation Park for a long time now, and today was the day, with sunny skies and a coolish temperature. Enjoyed a very scenic walk with some great tracks and nice views over the landscape. Thanks for the cache ajtmb!
Returned after 21/2 years to find this one to complete the Hale Hike series. A quick find this time. Really good views. Thanks ajtmb.
Cracker of a view. TFTC atjmb. Great to take in the views, once I stopped to sign the log.
My husband came along with me but he was busy with his metal detector. An enjoyable walk around Hale Conversation Park.
Found it nice and easy.
Thanks ajtmb for the cache

Out for a walk in Hale Conservation Park for Father’s Day today. Great weather and no DNF’s lead to a great day. This cache is one that was found on our loop.
Find #4543 on 4 Sep 2022.
TFTC ajtmb!

I recently completed the one cache find in each of the 360 degrees from home location challenge. I have now decided to continue and aim for five finds in each of the 360 degrees. Today I was targeting specific caches in missing cells for this challenge and a few solved mysteries along the way. Very enjoyable to be out and about in the glorious sunshine.
This trail through Hale Conservation Park was the main target of the day. This is my favourite type of caching where I can park my car, strap on my hiking boots and hit the walking trails.
Sadly no animal encounters today but some nice views along the way and of course a good amount caches to keep me busy.
Thanks for the cache ajtmb.

Found with hubby on a walk this morning. Great track with lots of amazing views! TFTC!
This cache looks to bo missing, we are stuck in QLD ( due to covid) and not sure when we will get back home, am looking for some one to replace the cache for us.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

First visit to Hale and it's lovely. Great views and look out. No luck for me today on this cache just like the others.
Not sure this one is still here as all others found today and coordinates on point every time, maybe the CO can check on this one
As per previous catchers no luck. All obvious hiding spots within the gz were searched to no avail
Not sure if we were looking in the right spots. Spent about 15 minutes searching. Will try again in the future.
We arrived at this cache along the loop and the search began, we looked in the obvious spot to start with but nothing was found so expanded our search for 20+ Mins and still nothing, finally went back to the first location and after digging the cache was finally found.
Today Nettieknows and I headed to Hale Conservation Park to complete the loop walk before going to the Barossa for lunch and collected a few caches on the way home. Total of 19 caches for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Thanks for this cache. NOt found it today on an almost perfect day for hiking - not too hot not too cold except for a very brief rain shower that had a bit of wind. Found by the Aussie branch of GronwoldFamily/Dobie's Pride along with Nick - first timer, and a million or so flies.
We were about to go on a maintenance walk around Hale Hike when Ian and Penny, who were camped nearby, said they were going out to grab this series. They offered to take some spare new containers from us and replace those that needed it, as well as check on the others. Big thanks to them for helping us out with this. They couldn't find this one at the time but it's been found since and we think it might've suffered some cache creep. We'll go and check on it ourselves soon. Cheers, ajtmb.
Geocaching with jesswrigley on a nice Autumn day. The plan was a hike around Hale Conservation Park that took a few hours, which was a nice walk seeing mica deposits, a dry waterfall, and views of the surrounds, followed by a stop for afternoon tea at a Kerrsbrook cider place.
We were a little worried due to the DNF by the previous Geocachers, and widened our search area with no luck. There appeared to be lots of trees with various hollows that would make this a difficult find. However jesswrigley mentioned to try one place, and sure enough, the small cache was spotted. With recent log replacement, only a handful names were present here. Thanks ajtmb.

Beautiful day for a hike around the Hale Hike Loop! We were lucky enough to get a day off work and enjoy the weather!
Hi there ajtmb.
This is the 1st of 1 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache, so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

Found! That sure was tricky to grab (in a completely acceptable way). Thanks for the cache
Kaaya found this one. On a house hunting trip on this warm day. beautiful spot
A day off and another adventure with froghoppin...today's destination Hale Conservation Park...
We navigated our way around the trail...there were some fantastic views...the caches were located reasonably easily...this one was quite wet and needed the water drained from it...needs some TLC...
Thanks for the cache and the series ajtmb

Out with Hevwalker for an afternoon walk around the Hale loop, some awesome views as we hiked the trail, unfortunately after yesterdays rains this one was half full of water, drained and covered to prevent future rains filling it

A nice easy find in the logical spot. All the contents were quite damp, and there appears to be what looks like a spiders nest at the bottom.
Thanks for the cache ajtmb.

Both Bri and Sal ventured out today for a lovely walk around Hale Conservation Park. We met up with Anymules and Kiwi Ozzie at the parking area for a clockwise loop along the Hale Hike Loop. What can I say, this walk is fantastic with ever changing scenery and terrain. [^] Finding 10 caches as we walked around was just a bonus. Then it was off for lunch in Williamstown. [8)]
Another quick find. Amazing how the farmland comes right to the edge of the conversation park and the land changes to rocky and steep.

Very soggy container all the contents is a bit mouldy and a damp log TFTC
Great views. The cache and its contents are water damaged. Saw a very cleverly camouflaged spider on a close-by tree. Tftc.
Another wet cache in need of replacement. Have put another temp one in until maintenance. B careful in warmer months
Gorgeous day, great hike and quick find. What more could a girl want? Except possibly a dry log to write on. this one was soaked through. Probably needs a replacement. TFTC
""Sneaky Squeaky" Woz ere" A quick but enjoyable find. From Me To You From SQ72 T.F.T.C
Headed out today with sneaky squeaky to grab the caches in the Hales conservation park, the weather was great for us today and we managed to grab all the caches in the area while grabbing the clues for the letterbox cache. TFTC
Well into me Hale 'n' Hearty stroll today,
I reached the final view point of the hike
Lovely views out over one of the reservoirs that surround the park.
And with the cache found,
there was nothing to do but enjoy the downhill stroll back to the geomobile
And one more cache of course

I was jealous of the neighbors living near this cache, would be a fantastic place to live. Thanks for the hunt this afternoon: )
While staying nearby in Williamstown we took the opportunity to walk this very pleasant trail. 24 degrees and plenty of shade followed by increasing cloud cover made for a very enjoyable walk
How nice to walk a trail and find all containers in good condition and with plenty of swaps
This would definitely be a good trail for families
Many thanks for a great series and for giving us a bit of much needed exercise ajtmb[^]

Our last full day in the Barossa so we headed out with iluvtrekking to grab as many finds as we could. Took all the back country lanes - our type of caching. The two geo-men volunteered to do the walk and managed to find all containers and be back at the car within 1 hr15 mins. Thanks ajtmb
The last day of our SA caching holiday with richlink dawns and we are off to places a bit farther a field in a quest to grab as many smilies as we can in the time we have left. Thanks for your cache ajtmb the two menfolk set off on this little adventure while we waited in the car.
Once again out in the Mt Crawford area with Debandy and the Geo son attacking another outbreak of cache. Many cache were defeated in the assault and much fun was had by all.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Out in the area again with Cows with guns and his calf finding many caches on such a beautiful day.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Out with the North of the Cross geocaching group doing a hike in some beautiful weather. Hale Hike loop was the plan for the day. Second cache of the day and the views were truly beautiful. We found the cache and stamped the log and continued along the trail.
Yep pretty amazing views where had from this cache location. There was still a mist over the valley and Mrs Bee was able to capture that in some of her pictures. This was a great spot for us all to rest our racing hearts from the pumping they have had hiking along this trail.

quickly found and spotted a koala in a stringy bark tree looking down on us nearby - so that was a bit of a nice bonus. Sun is holding on at the moment but the clouds are a coming! Onwards to the next cache.
Found while waking the loop. Took mini santa hat and bean. Left 2 crayons, 2 marbles and a frog. TFTC.
Clever hide.
Thank you ajtmb for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Nice easy find as we walked along the more open section of the track. Container still quite waterlogged, unfortunately, had we checked logs before we left we could have bought a replacement container, bummer.
Found this one while out with ttrogg for a great day in the hills.

Been wanting to walk this circuit ever since the Hale Hike series came out, hard to say why it's taken so long but finally, after getting DPA outa bed, today was the day.
And what a great little area it is, nice walking only path most of the way, terrain enough to get the heart working but not the legs hurting. Another new favourite area.
Container must be leaking, emptied out some water and did what drying I could, log damp but usable.
Thanks for the series and cache ajtmb

This log was a little damp. Closed bag up and tried to cover as well as I could. Pen doesn't work but had our own. Found with mrbuzzy
