First AP series find. I was a bit worried about climbing the pipe all the way to complete this series. But my fears were quickly gone after seeing the beautiful scenery here. Thanks for giving us such a unique caching experience. Cache found. No issues here. TFTC
A nice winter’s morning for some caching in the hills. We didn’t find our first choice so hoped for better luck around the tracks. This one was a quick find. TYFTC APC.
After having no luck on our first cache for the day we headed up the hill to this one. It was a nice quick find as we arrived. We signed your log and enjoyed the view. Your cache was returned to where it resides. TFTC Allied Pranksters Crew.
Set out for a few more in this series today. Perfect weather for it, and I was glad I wore the prescribed footwear this time. This one was tucked in pretty deep - I nearly missed it. Tftc
Easy find amongst the greenery here. Had a look down at the creek afterwards which was flowing with the recent rain we've had. TFTC
Nice view and very green this time of year. Nudecruiser75 joined me for this hunt also. Was a brilliant little hike to this one. TFTC.
Only half of our team today!
A nice afternoon walk with my Son... I forgot how hilly this part of Kelmscott is!!

Out caching with Lazarus_68 for the afternoon. I walked up the pipe line after completing number 6 in the series. The rain was just starting. luckily it was fairly light so we continued on with the others in the series.
Took a tribe of 21 teenagers on the ccc trail to raise some money for our youth group. Perfect time of year to walk one of my fav caching tracks on the planet. Such an awesome time was had. The teens loved the walk and the most amazing flowers are out this time of year. A must for any cacher world wide.
This was a great hide that we found with the light failing us and a bit of luck. TFTC
With the light fading fast on us, GPS jumping around and searching with our phone lights, we thought we were facing a DNF and were close to heading home when muggle housemate Carl discovered it without a torch. Definitely have to get him signed up and joining our team!
A nice hide, TFTC! 3/23

Found AP 205 C=C=C 05. At this point the water channel gave way to the water pipe. Took V8 Super Car TB to move it on. LN SL TFTH Barnzy12.
1st section of our caching adventure (team Krabiboy, fratra and me) and the 21st find for the day. We came back to the trail after popping off to grab "The Old Ford" nearby (and procrastinate about heading up that hill)! TFTC
tra logging coz fra is exhausted from his big day out with KrabiBoy and bigTcup while i was working and I also believed this was beyond my capabilities lol. Great day was had with 16kms and 20,000 steps clocked up. Thanks to all involved in placing and maintaining this series. Apologies for the c & p log.
21st find of the day here. Krabiboy on the correct side of the pipe for another smiley.

I've been wanting to do this series for a long time, and after seeing some photos on the facebook page, decided to make it happen.
I teamed up with fratra and bigTcup to come and grab our smilies. We parked three cars along the way to make things easier and set off from #23.
It was my turn to grab this one as I was on the right side of the pipe.

SpatialRiq, Jinta29 and I made plans to tackle this series before the rumors we had heard came true that it maybe archived (1 year later logging them it turned out not to happen as they have been adopted out)
I don’t know what I was really expecting but it was not the extreme variety of terrain and how long the day was from start to finish.
Walking the pipe covered all results, from completely clear and low to the ground to so high up a fall may hurt or at least put you on the ground with no way back up, overgrown drains that saw us on our knees crawling (well me anyway) to walking on the edge of steep slopes as the bush was too thick to push through.
Verdict: Freaking amazing! What a blast !
Forgive the generic log, I have since lost any trail notes that I did take as it is now just under a year ago (359 days) since I had the adventure.

After a bit of talk about this series on Facebook a couple of weeks ago AlliedOz, SpatialRiq and I hatched a plan to head off and grab these smileys We grabbed all of the active caches in the series and a couple of others nearby . A great day out and I can thoroughly recommend it as a WA must do series. A 7.5 hour epic that will have us bragging for some time to come!

Organised to tackle this series a few weeks back with Jinta29 and AlliedOz, so with much excitement we met up around 7:30am and got underway.
Did #23 to #1 plus several nearby caches, then after lunch headed South picking up a couple in Roleystone then did the remaining #29 to #40.
Great weather, great company and truly a great series that has it all. Stunning views, some challenging terrain and we learn a bit of history. Yet another part of Perth that, if it weren't for geocaching, I would have never know about or seen.
23rd find of the day. Ended up with 52 finds all up. TFTC.

I was keen to head out to the C=C=C series this weekend and try to knock them all off. After finding #1 and 2 a few months back I decided to tackle the rest in sections. I parked the car at the gate on Turner Rd, and walked up to start at #6 and work my way back to #3.
After tackling the big hill it was a quick find here, and I grabbed the travel bug dog tag! Thanks for the cache Allied Pranksters!

Hi there Allied Pranksters - We found AP 205 C=C=C 05 today - our find # 3656. I have been waiting for a cooler day to come this way and today was forecast for 30 degrees, so I decided to come and play. The cache was found quickly and the container and log are both in good condition. SL. Thanks to Allied Pranksters for the cache.
Crazy place to bring the dog for a walk and I wouldn't have done it if there were not a few caches to find. Glad I came though.
TFTC! Out with Numbers Man to complete a small stretch of the CCC series. Weather was perfect for this morning section which we completed in two hours with a total of 7 finds and 5 DNFs. Thanks AP
Down the hill from number 4 I flew looking for Cache number 4. This opening had plenty of evidence from Roo activity but none to be seen. It took a few moments for the GPS to settle, then found it pretty quickly!
Thanks for the cache, and off to number 6!
Thanks for the cache, and off to number 6!
A lovely morning for a walk in the hills. I did a couple of this series last year and am back to grab a few more. An easy find at this one which was good after putting a DNF down for the first one I tried.

Our last walk along the top of the pipe for the day, and Mr OOH YEH was the first to jump off and head over to GZ. Kyzabra and i would have jumped down too, but hey ... Wayne had the prize in hand before we could get to the step down support . TFTC AP
This trip had been on the radar for some time.
Ooh-Yeh and and I had a false start a few months ago when the weather was against us. Now there was Jasenjanine, Ooh-Yeh, and myself set to make the journey.
The weather was "PERFECT" , and I mean ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. No rain for a couple of days. The meant for dry scrub, and dry pipe. And a pefect strike rate for our finds today
We headed off at 7.20 in the morning, and started at number 40.
Many yarns and stories shared along the way with only one minor spill on the pipe.
A fantsastic day out which I strongly reccomend to all.
We were fortunate enough to have the CO drop us at the start, and run us between the middle section. Thanks so much for this.
After severe walk up the pipe, it was Ooh-Yeh who volunteered to go grab the cache, while jasenjanine and I waitied on top.
Thanks for a fantastic series Allied Pranksters,

Kyzabra and I had made a plan last September 2013 to tackle this series and at that time the heavens had opened up and dumped its load so it was then into recon mode to scope out how to tackle this one and grab a few close ones while waiting for the rain to stop .
We then spoke to the CO who kindly offered to pick us up drop us of at the given points just needed our dates to line up .
Well today was our day and the team was put together Kyzabra , Jasenjanine and myself armed with all the necessary requirements for a full day out the weather was at its best not a cloud in the sky. We arrived at the CO house early who kindly dropped us off at the starting point and collect us at the next point which was great as there is no real parking close by.
The views are incredible with the day being so perfect which made up for all the prickle bushes ,scratches and sore limbs that was accrued though out the day
We walked on top of the pipe and in the col-vent the whole way, only one slip on the pipe by Jase whilst trying to grab something on his way down was a blackberry bush all I can say was OUCH but alas no injury .
Many stories were told as we made away along the pipe and the caches were come up very quick just needed the time to find them some were quick a couple had us scratching our heads as three GPS's would not settle and giving out mixed readings but in the end all were found log signed and maintenance completed .
Thanks for the series AP

Great fun pipe walking. Amazing it hadn't been muggled, given the apparent revelries nearby. Thanks.
So I thought that today would be the perfect day to tackle the C=C=C 01-23 series of caches with fine weather forecast. But this day had everything - completely clear skies, full sun and then dark clouds followed by torrential showers! But I didn't think that rain was forecast? This was a great adventure. I saw scores of kangaroos, a gazillion biting ants, many beautiful butterflies, one dugite snake, one bobtail lizard and one freshly dead dog. The bush is super thick right now making it very hard to trek along some parts. Miraculously, I managed to find 23 out of 23 of this series that I attempted! Looking forward to returning to Roleystone to continue the journey soon. TFTC Allied Pranksters
Been thinking about doing the C-C-C series for a while and thought it would be good to do it with dad (froggy1948) since he had worked on this channel back in his hey day.
We parked near #1 and headed towards Canning Mills road collecting the caches as we went for our first section. It was a nice clear cool day and the views of the city at the start are great. Flowers are out in full at this time of year. Got some nice stories from dad about the channel as we went too. Found dad's first evidence of work on the channel near cache #6 (didn't find that cache today tho!). Forgot to take a pic of it too, so will be back to find #6 and take a photo We made it to Canning Mills road 2.5 hours later with cache #13 in hand and glad to finish that section of the trek.
With a little bit of energy left in us we thought we can do another section and take advantage of a cool day. We drove to Contour Rd and headed towards Canning Mills again. Boy did this second section take some work. When AP mentioned "If you like thick bush, steep hills, balancing on a pipe, great views, ... , ants that attack if you stand still" then this is the bit he was talking about. Cache 23 to 20 is very hilly, Between Cache 20 and 16 we were covered in ants. and many times you have to fight the over grown prickly bush trying to stick to some kind of path. By the time we got to #14 near Canning Mills we were stuffed.
Thouroughly enjoyed today's outing and looking forward to the next lot closer to Canning Dam. A great effort AP for putting these caches out.

Still on the series, had a look at the pipehead and moved on to here. Stopped to chat to a birdwatching muggle lady who was watching some Carnaby's Cockatoos feeding so I had to use discretion when looking for number 5 here. Spotted the remnants of a very recent campfire right at GZ and thought I could perhaps find a muggled cache but no, there it was, nicely hidden.

Did 10km of my 12km jog. [:(!] Found the cache exactly where the GPS said it would be, but struggled, big time, at 06. Managed to jar my ankle going for 02. But had a great time getting the ones I did. [^] A bit hot to start with, but eventually cooled down after I left 06. Wife picked me up for the last 2km, as the ankle was not good. [B)]. Thanks Allied Pranksters, I will get 06 at a later date.
Finally had a chance to tackle the first leg of this series today after looking at it longingly for months but being unwilling to go by myself. I'm in awe of the work which must have gone into creating this series. I brought along two geo-newbies, they signed the logs in preparation for registering tonight.
Out to finish the pipe series with SPN WRC today.
Couldn't ask for better weather today after the disaster of the other week.
Good chance today to sit back and appreciated the engineering marvel of this pipe.
No problems finding the remaining caches.

Teamed up with Mr ILuvTrekking and Mr Richlink for another geocaching day. Mrs ILuvTrekking and Mrs Richlink dropped us off at the beginning of the series. The view from the hills were fantastic and we had prefect whether to conquer this series- not too hot and plenty of challenges along the way. Some of the floral was starting to bloom and we enjoyed the colours of the flowers.
I had a few spills and falls along the way that had me breathless at times and a few war wounds to share with others.
I throughly enjoyed myself! Thank you Mr. Richlink and MR. ILuvTrekking for this another great Geo caching day and thank you Allied Prankster for the great series.

Mrs iluvtrekking and I transported our two men and Mr Jacobscrew to the starting point of the series at 0830. We had arranged to meet them after they completed #23 to join them for lunch and to top up their water and snack supplies for the remainder of the trek. The series started off easily enough for the first half dozen caches then gradually the terrain increased in difficulty requiring the negotiating of the pipeline itself, while clambering over trees that had fallen across the pipeline and the concrete supports.
At #19 while two of the cachers were at ground level they came in contact with a very nervous dugite, with the third cacher scrambling out of its way by climbing the nearest tree! Back on the pipeline the guys had thoughts of boots with magnets in the soles coming in handy and wondering if these were going to be the next addtion to the caching gear. Well the magnetic boots would have come in handy to save Mr Jacobscew losing his footing and slipping from the pipeline at #22. iluvtrekking and richlink watched aghast and expected the worst but were relieved to see him land on his back with his backpack as protection, between two large rocks instead of splayed across them. After getting his breathe back, shaking off the bruised hip and wrenched ankle, it was back to the rest of the series. After replenishing their reserves with a well earned lunch break the three were determined to continue the series and knocked back our offer of a ride to #24. Although they thought they were past the worst of the terrain they were to later realise there was much more in store for them. A very pleasant surprise was picking up a joint FTF at #33 which gave them the incentive to surge onward to complete the final 7 caches in the series. Not one DNF!!
The guys did a fabulous job of completing all 40 caches in extreme terrain within 9 hours and they have no doubt it was their combined team work that got them through.
Thanks Allied Pranksters for another excellent series, apologies for the repeated log. Now, what have you got for them next?!!

Mr iluvtrekking joined forces with Mr richlink and Mr JacobsCrew to conquer this wonderful series. It was not without incident and excitement but they completed the entire series without a DNF or serious injury, although Mr JacobsCrew may take issue with that. Thanks Allied Prankters, a great series, the men will be talking about this day for a long time to come.
Out today with the Geoson and introducing two friends to Geocaching. Loved this series and recommend doing the walk. Just make sure you have good shoes, long strides, and plenty of water.... Watch the ants in a few spots, they attack in the millions... We started from Mills Rd East and headed to Roleystone, The last part was the hardest with the legs starting to slow up a bit..... Thanks very much for the series, great to enjoy a bit of history...
So happy to see the batteries of the gps lasted till here. This was the last one left for me in this section, as I had done #6 from the other end already, so had a spell on the thoughtfully provided log to regather some strength for the homeward journey. Swapped trackables.
Then had quite and adventure to get back to the car. No spare batteries (didn't bring backback as wanted to travel light) and no internet for the phone. Thought it would be a simple matter of following the channel back to the car but somehow missed the right track turnoff and ended up at the arrester bed on Mills Rd East. Finally made my way back to the general vicinity of my car after considerable bush bashing, where a very kind chap offered to give me a lift back to my car which I gratefully accepted.
So many hours of hill climbing and 27 caches later, I called it a day!

Out and about with Keego hunting C=C=C and Birds. Not wishing to jump in at the deep end I started with the easier ones I hope. Followed the track alongside the contour channel from 01 to 05 and made deviation to grab the caches. From 05 to 06 it was downhill in a big way but there was a nice big pipe to walk on. Took little steps as the morning dew was still on the pipe and we did not want to take a swan dive into the rocks and bush. After finding 06 and with no more time available we started back up the pipe to the track.
Most enjoyable morning walk we Keego in our beautiful Darling Range.

I raced ahead to find the cache while bindel_ just walked by. She seemed really tired now so I didn't mind. We stopped up the top and had a break, much needed!!
Thanks for an awesome series

Needed some fresh air and sunshine and wanted to get my heart rate up a bit - this looked like the perfect series! Blob was keen to be my companion for the day. 23 to 1 was all I was keen to tackle in my current condition. We dropped my car at the Mills Rd truck arrester bed and my brother kindly gave us a lift to Contour Rd.
I just carried on walking up the pipe while blob dismounted and found and logged this one. Just focusing on getting to the top for the rest stop blob has promised me.

“Thick bush, steep hills, balancing on a pipe, great views, getting wet and cold, ants that attack” - with a sales pitch like this how could I resist attempting this series. It would be too easy to drive and attack it in sections so I decided I would attempt to do the whole series on foot in one day. I dropped a car at the arrester bed on Mills Rd then got my better half to drop me off at the end of the series at Canning Dam. I set off at around 9:30am and a few minutes later had the first cache in hand, not only that it had a nice blank logbook. My run of FTF’s continued until C=C=C 36 when AusTrackers came to the cache from the other direction. Always nice to meet other cachers and put a face to a name. They found the cache but graciously shared the FTF honours. They warned me that the going from this point on was more difficult and off I went. Met Chwiliwr not long after and after a brief greeting carried on. Soon afterwards I made a small diversion (small in distance not in effort!) to pick up the cache Jurassic Jaunt. When I got to Croyden Rd I wasn’t sure if I’d still be able to follow the channel/pipe due to private property so decided to follow the road to the next cache. A bit of a dull slog and then I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get to #27 without a big circuit walk. Thankfully when I was only a couple of hundred metres from the cache one of the residents were working in their front yard so I got permission to cut across their property to access the cache. I had planned to follow the pipe from here but the veg was too thick so I cut back down to Croyden Rd (and lost my sunnies in the process!). the three caches west of the Brookton Hwy went well but then again I wasn’t sure if I could get through so backtracked to the Brookton Hwy and followed the roads before picking up the channel again at #23. The next section was my favourite for the day (even the hill up to what I think was #21). All went well until the final few caches when I had a couple of DNF’s – a bit disappointing as I had hoped to complete the series. Found the final cache at 4:30pm on the dot. A good series (apart from the Croyden Rd bit). Most coords good or if not caches were in obvious spots for the most part. Certainly an enjoyable walk.
Came down with KB to attempt series from #27 to #1.....drove up to #27, then did 26 to 24 walked back to car, then drove to contour rd to walk rest of the series.
As we pulled up to GZ we could see a 4wheel drive on side of road and by the time we walked up to GZ we met up with James of jacaro44.....had a chat, found cache and decided to join up for rest of trek
The next section from #23 to #13 was definitely my favourite....the memory of turning around to see KB and James trudging up the pipe behind me is one that will stay with me for a long time.
KB and I were a bit tentative on pipes at first, but soon realised it was the most efficient way to move and by the time we finished we were bounding along like mountain goats.
Thanks Allied Pranksters this is what caching is about.... adventure, exercise and good company (and lots of smileys)....and a heartfelt thank you to the better looking half of jacaro44 for giving us a lift back to KB's car.

In the warmth and comfort of my office last night, we noticed this seies of caches for the first time. Despite the COs' warnings of above average terrain issues, it was clear that as water runs down hill that it would be the smart direction to travel while knocking over these caches.
The intrepid group of MDV, JB and Jacaro44 continued moving from #27 towards #1 Curses, I have trained them too well. Now they just run off, up the pipes like mountain goats. Here comes that booming from the chest again. Perhaps they will not notice the noise if I just lag a little behind and pretend that I am smelling the roses ---again.

I was semi delusional at this point which translated into my manic behaviour; I was bounding from cache to cache. Jacaro44 wasn't so keen; he seemed to be having second thoughts about whether he should've continued with Mickey and I!! The finds were getting tougher; even our 3 GPS's couldn't seem to agree on GZ. Cache was found, log was signed and the adventure continued. Thanks Allied Pranksters for another fine cache.
So onto #5 and decending my first hill, with the pipe running along side.
Not to steep this one, I'm sure worse are to come !!!
A very picturesque spot and a straight forwad find.
After finding the cache and leaped up onto the pipe and descended the rest of the hill from this elevated position... the pipe was mostly dry, and as long you have mud free boots is pretty safe to walk along.
The river runs through the base of the valley, but again you can cross it by walking the pipe if you so choose.

(Chwiliwr team catch up log)
Chwiliwr decided to leave the other new cache that a few of us couldn't find.
Arrived at GZ for this one and again couldn't find a container but noticed that he had swapped two digits on the coordinates that put me 100m odd out so corrected them and then arrived at the correct GZ. It didn't look promising as he approached but it took him only a moment to see where the container was after he actually got to GZ. *FTF*
Thanks Allied Pranksters for the cache.

I had just decided to leave the other new cache that a few of us couldn't find when the better half rang and told me that there was a large number of new caches being published so gave me the coordinates of the first few of them.
