With a little help from the local volunteers & their hoe, we were able to get the cache. Thanks

We are off on a trip to the Birdsville Races and then across to Queensland - the plan is for about 6 weeks all going well.
Day 1 was Portland to Cockatoo Lake.
Day 2 was Cockatoo Lake to Tailem Bend where we jumped on the bikes and toured around town.
Day 3 we jumped on the bikes and travelled the loop to Wellington. It was a beautiful day, a touch cool and we stopped for hot drinks and a cold beverage at the Welly.
Another interesting spot we wouldn't have found by ourselves.
Thanks for contribution to our holiday team mono

My main aim today is to finish off the Rotf trail which I started a few years ago. I had a family emergency on day 2 so had to go back to Adelaide. Enjoyed doing all the caches on a long day
Headed out this way after I realised I had overlooked this area, Wellington has certainly built up since I was here last, I remember it as only having the pub, courthouse and the ferry with one or two farms, the cache I found is no longer at 1.5 nor is it a micro lol and was full of old logs, next time I am this way I will pop in a new log as the ones in the container are quite full, sorry didn't have any with me this time. but extremely close to the coordinates. TYFTC
Went for a drive with M-dolphin to go get pug stuff and thought I would do some tftc
Nice and easy one on the way home there was a giant spider nearby scared my friend pissed her self with yatesy222 tftc
Great place. Birders paradise. Food and crafts at The Hall cafe are lovely and so is cemetery. All worth a look. So glad that Team Tiddlypop stopped for lunch and caches. Not hidden but left where we found it. TFTC.
Managed to find this when no working bees were on. The only working bees here today were in the flowers! TFTC team mono.
Found on a lovely drive around to places we have never spent much time. Such a lot of wonderful work has been put into these gardens. TFTC
Quick find on a morning drive around Wellington and Jervois.
Interesting reading about the history of the gardens and how the sand patch has been transformed

Found at 10:56 during a fantastic extended weekend away with Shonkylogic and Southern Cross Caching. We had grand plans to complete swathes of powertrails and solved puzzles, but the weather slowed us down a bit. Even so, it was a lot of fun, and we passed my goal - to get my 9000th find
Friday, day 1, had us driving and caching from morning in Adelaide until the 6pm event in Millicent.
Day 2 focussed on the fishing series, wine bottle, and numerous other caches in that vicinity.
Day 3 was our slowest, due to the worse weather, but still a lot of fun.
Day four, after doing SFE series and nearby caches, plus those we passed, I arrived home at about 8pm, after finding my 9000th cache along the way.
Great to catch up with many of the usual faces, some others we hadn't seen for a long time, and a few new faces too.
Thanks for the hides

What a magnificent area and a great day to go exploring. Thank you to the team for the placement of this cache.
Our Handheld GPS decided it didn't want to play properly today so made the task of finding caches much harder today without coordinates just following the arrow to the locations. However, we managed to find this one but it just made it a bit more difficult. What a beautiful place that we would never have found if not for Geocaching. Thanks for placing the cache here.
The cache is not so green anymore so stood out within it's hiding spot. Might need a bit of maintenance to camo it better.
So many caches to find in the area around Murray Bridge but with recent hand surgery it was decided a relatively easy day was the go grabbing just a few local caches on each side of the river between the Bridge and Wellington. A delicious lunch was also enjoyed at the Wellington pub
We recorded a DNF on this one back in 2014 when caching with our geobuddies Felix11. The cache was replced soon after that so it was nice to finally turn this into a smiley. Many thanks team mono

This weekend, I headed to the limestone coast / south-east for cave diving. On Friday night, I drove via the Coorong rode via Kingston, Beachport, and Millicent to Glencoe. Saturday was spent cave diving near Tantanoola and Engelbrecht Cave in Mount Gambier, and then Sunday after a cave dive, I returned to Adelaide via Mount Gambier, and the wine bottle/glass geoart in Kalangadoo. I was expecting a nice weekend of sunny weather, but instead, there was wind and rain for the most part.
Today, I travelled from Adelaide to Glencoe, and made stops in Meningie, along the Coorong, Kingston, Beachport, and Rendelsham. A really nice sunny evening, and subsequently arrived very late at my destination.
What a really cool place, and hadn't realised that this was here. It would be cool if a few more geocaches were placed around this garden to encourage Geocachers to take a loop here. I managed to make this find rather quickly, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. The logbook is pretty full though, so needs a new logbook asap. Thanks team mono for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Not so green Nice little quiet park to wander around in. Lots of flowers out. Cache and log book OK. TFTC
I had a very early start to the day with an event in the city then a drive to Meningie to stay with friends for a few days. With all this extra time I had, I stopped for a few caches along the way (as you do). [^]
I had a DNF here a couple of years ago so I was keen to turn that into a smiley as well as get a few other new caches that have popped up since my last visit.
Had to employ a geotool to reach the cache, which took longer to get out of the car (it was under all my gear I had packed on top of it) than to retrieve the cache.
Glad to have my stamp in the log now, thanks for the cache team mono.

I loved the care and work that locals must do here to maintain the plantings and surrounds.

Did a few caches along this stretch with Goodlook today as we took our tired bodies back to Meningie after a long days with the Popes.
Thanks team mono

On a spur of the moment trip to SA from Melbourne for the long weekend and staying in Tailem Bend and touring the country side picking up caches as I go.
After catching the ferry across the mighty Murray I toured that side and picked up those caches as I went.
Now after crossing back over the Murray it was time to finish off the caches this side.
They have done a great job here and the place is a nice place to stroll around.
Thanks team mono TFTC.
