Logs
The log is Nice and dry in its antique container!! You dont see those too often these days. Thanks Paul -the -Hippy.
There are not many caches where you can take a photo of humpback whales breaching from the edge of the Snowy River. But this is one!FP TTTC PTH Brad and Janet are on another epic trip. This time across South Australia to Broken Hill. Then through central and Northern NSW and up into Qld where we will be picking up a new hybrid house-on-wheels. Then we will head south down through more of NSW via Sydney to catch up with B2. Then further south until we get into Victoria from where we will head back into South Australia. Along the way we will grab caches of opportunity.
TFTC Awesome spot with a lovely walk. Easy for a nanna with a walking stick, however there are a few stairs but an easy stroll. Probably wouldn't have tried this walk except to find the geocache. Easy to find and as described. Thank you.
Stopped for a little leg stretch and found the cache while driving down the coast today. Cache in good shape. Thanks for sharing!
Some French onion dip would be nice!Found on the Mega Capital Geobash coastal loop via Adelaide - Barrington - coast to Mexico City loop. A lot of caches and white line fever was sweated out. Thanks Paul_the_Hippy and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! Some logs signed as TAD as teamed up with Tenkae and Deanside for additional fun. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
What a shame I didnt have more time to walk these paths and explore this place. The bridge was so inviting but unfortunately have to push on. Caching around on the road trip that encompasses Barrington Tops, Sydney, the Easter Geobash Mega in Canberra then the return via who knows where to homeThanks Paul_the_Hippy for contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy.
Found with gmj3191. This estuary walk is very interesting and beautiful. Thanks for the fun and for bringing us here.
Find # 8,517 for me on 20 Mar 2024 at 2:07pm. This cache was found on Canberra Mega adventure. After leaving Melbourne with PamJ in our little caravan, the plan is to stay a couple of nights at Bemm River, then a few more at Pambula before cruising into Canberra. This cache was found as part of this journey. PamJ found it where I had failed. The container had a fresh log, but it now has our signatures. Thanks Paul_the_Hippy, for giving back to the game. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Lovely walk along the board walk. Wombat hole half way down the steps didn't find any wombat cubes though
Unfortunately another wet logHave dried as best we can, but needs attention. Found with The Rat Another excellent spot to bring us too. TFTC Paul the hippy
TFTC Paul-the-Hippy. Second time around, this time with a writing implement. Dried out wet, but resilient log paper, signed and onward! Jimmytherat with Noelle04
No reception (down load your offline) took the 1+km walk to GZ. At GZ had to go down on hands and knees to see cache ....that could have taken forever the geogods are looking after me on my birthday. Enjoyed this lovely trail.
What an amazing beautiful spot. Found on the way out of Marlo heading east..thanks.
TFTC Paul_the_hippy. Found but alas no writing implement so no claim. Great placement. And log dry. Will be back…Jimmytherat.
TFTC…. We went 3 trike to find this cache and unfortunately we were caught out by muggles, still loads of fun!
A trip to check out all the awesome places in eastern Victoria. TFTC.
Nice walk on a cool day.

Found with v8minnie while checking out Marlo and where the snowy River meets the sea. TFTC
Found with COM084 whilst visiting the area. Log signed and replaced. Log wet but can still sign. Replaced as found. TFTC
I was prepared to spend some time looking, but nah, I did look at the hint I have to admit. And then it was just straightforward. Maybe it helped I am from the era of this cache that I recognised it haha. Thanks!!!
Took a little bit to find but we got there in the end log abit damp and container full of water, tftc
I found it this time again. Getting good. Much harder to find than I thought.
We were staying at Cape Conran and needed to come into Marlo so picked up the last couple of caches that we hadn't found in the area.
The tide was was high and starting to run out as we made our way along the path, I could hear fish feeding along the edges, darn should have brought the fishing rods!
Still we found what we were looking for.

We found this cache today on our Bairnsdale - Bruthen - Nowa Nowa - Orbost - Marlo - Lakes Entrance - Bairnsdale Road Trip. Enjoying the dotted sections along this walk. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Find #4816. Found @ 17:31 with The Good Lady Wife.
Driving to Orbost for a weekend away to combine a visit to support bushfire affected areas and finding a map #23 cache (amongst others).
Now we're just picking up some others before getting dinner in Marlo.
The Good Lady Wife had to order some takeaway to be delivered to the in-law's and kids, so stayed in the car at the trail head as I fetch this cache. It was in the first place I tried once walking along the path.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Paul_the_Hippy.

This is a delightful walk, we must come back to this part of the world to do all the walks that we have just had a little peek at over the last few days.

Found at 11.00am, Touring the area and walking the Estuary track. A great walk with stunning sea views. Thanks K&M
From 23.09 until 24.11.2019 Stadibast and I spent our holidays in Australia.
During the first four weeks we drove with a camper van from Darwin to Perth along the West coast and its amazing national parks, in which we made several hiking tours.
After that we flew to the wonderful green Tasmania for a roundtrip lasting two weeks.
For the last three weeks we went back to the continent and followed the South-East-Coast from Melbourne to Sydney.
We had impressive nine weeks in Australia, in which we hiked through various national parks, visited interesting sights and met many friendly and helpful people.
Thanks to all owners for setting and maintaining their caches.

Yeah, got this one without getting too wet again. Found where it should be. paper was wet so had a bit of a go to dry off. Container itself was dry. Go figure ! TFTC Paul_the_Hippy
Wow, look at those steps, I said to Petal as we made our way down to the boardwalk. Having a crook knee, I tried walking on the soil alongside, but it wasn't all that easy in the long run.
We soon found the cache here, quite damp inside, but the Write in the Rain Paper was still easy to sign, so placed it back in it's hiding hole.
Now for the walk back to the car, made it with just one stop to catch my breath. Thanks Paul_the_Hippy for this placement. Loved the boardwalk and bridge here.

After doing some riding around Marlo today we decided to return to this one in the evening and we were glad we did, the angle of the sun on the water gave off some awesone colours, there was plenty of bird life about and a large pelican was having a feed on the large number of small fish in this area, we continued our walk after finding the cache to the surf beach. The cache was an easy find. I am giving this one a favorite, not for the cache container but for the fantastic loctaion. Thanks Paul for bringing us to this spot.
Well, this was an eventful day.
John left this morning, taking our trail bikes home with him. It had rained overnight so he timed it perfectly.
I am trying to extend my streak of finds, so headed up the hill in the car, nice and early. Bad move! The wet clay was slippery and I ended up stuck sideways across the road. I spend an hour and a half ooching it forward using small pieces of wood I carry for levelling the caravan. No luck. It looked like I was stuck there for an extended period, but then I heard some earth moving equip further down the hill. When I walked down there, the fellows couldn't have been more helpful. They used a bulldozer to drag me back to a solid base, then re-inflated my tyres that I had lowered for more grip. Terrific men, and no criticism for my stupidity.
I decided to leave the camp and move around to the western side of the forest where the roads are in better condition.
As my son, who is an arborist, and keen to join me for a few days, will be arriving on Sunday, I have decided to spend a couple of nights in the Marlo area, before camping at Goongerah.
After that long epistle, I'm pleased to say that I enjoyed a stroll along the foreshore walkway and logged this cache.
Thanks for the fun!

14693. Found during a long weekend caching run down through the Bombala / Genoa / Mallacoota / Cann River / Orbost / Lakes Entrance / Bairnsdale regions with specimenX.
A long weekend caching plan was hatched with specimenX to head down to Victoria for 4 days of caching and camping. Had a fantastic time driving around enjoying the scenery, camping at various locations, plus the huge number of caches to be found. Day Two dawned and we had survived the rain. Packed up and hit the road. Next find of the day. Enjoyed the walk along and had a quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for placing their caches !!
