We found 2! Found by Changing Tracks Thursday crew. GPS jumped around a bit but both were an easy find
We checked in today, found the cache where it is meant to be, and removed some items that are not suitable to being in a geocache. All good here.
This was our first stop on our western caching adventure, nice mosaics pity the ones on the ground have all been broken but the one on the wall is still nice. Found this pretty easily once we expanded the search out a little bit. TFTC!
After a bit of searching we found it! Not before I got my finger squashed. Ouchy.TFTF
A bit of crawling around here before finally spotting the hide. In retrospect I probably made it more difficult than it was but took the time afterwards to enjoy the mosaic. Thanks for the cache.
Had a good look in all the obvious hiding places, but no sign of it. In the end we had to move on as it was getting busy at the front of the building.
After admiring the mosaic and a couple brief muggle-related pauses we quickly found the cache. TFTC!
First cache for the day and we arrived here in the dark. The ETrek light would only stay on for a few seconds so we gave up and went down to the water and had breakfast and then returned once it was light. The Garmin had initially brought us to the location by back roads and we were actually parked above GZ in a no standing sign. We did suss out a more approproate place to park for when we returned.A quick find was then made and we were very impressed by the bird mosaic on the wall. Thanks suss vulture. It was then time to continue on our journey. We grabbed some caches when we passed through this town back in 2011 and a few more this time. Hopefully next time we come through we'll finish them off.
I came here, just as it was getting lightA, while the Geokids were still asleep. In the headlamp, this one stood out easily, for where I was meant to be to make the search..
Today we headed out from Winchelsea to do our second day on the GOR. We made our way down through Wensleydale and picked up a few trads in tiny little none weatherproof pots. Nice little series. Then on to Anglesea which seemed to be very hipster/surfer vibes and we enjoyed a nice walk around The Wetlands, more caches and ate our packed lunch at one of the murals. Onwards to Aireys Inlet to visit the lighthouse and more caching. Lorne was our last stop on GOC seemed to be a bit more exy here and lots of posh Melbs people here . Back to Winchelsea via Erskine Falls, surprised no cache there and via Bambra area to collect some super cool woodland caches. Ran out of time to do everything we wanted but you can never get them all .Thanks to all the CO for some really great hides and especially to Bushfire we were sad to read of ill health.Another nice mosaic. Found 2 caches here, signed both logs. TFTC
Lovely mosaic of the Rufous Bristlebird. We were lucky enough to spot one at a cache nearby just before we came here
There were actually two geocache containers here within a metre of one another. TFTCs bushfire and suss vulture.
We are visiting from Brisbane with muggle grandma, driving along a big section of The Great Ocean Road. Before everyone else was awake, I snuck out at daybreak to finish off some caches in Anglesea before we all headed off to Apollo Bay. So many beautiful places to see along the way. Many of those places are pointed out to me through caching.Gps was jumpy. Got there in the end.
I placed this guy back on the 14th June 2012 but as we all know that time changes and it has got to the stage that I must either adopt my caches out or archive as I have a health problem that is only going to get worse. Finally, I must thank my good friends the suss vulture's for looking after these six Mosiac Caches in this old town that used to be called Swampy Creek and wish it good luck for the future. I know it is in good hands. But before I press the log button here is another F.P. because I liked the idea of these Mosiac Caches. Thanks, my friends.
Down on the surf coast for the weekend, so a perfect chance to knock off some caches on a cold and windy Saturday
Nice easy find tftc

I think I had looked for this as a newbie ages ago. Still took a bit of hunting, nice wee hidden cache happy to nab this one. Tftc
Found it in the evening! We left a trackable we picked 2 weeks ago in Phillip Island
Found on our way past while touring along the Great Ocean Road today. Dropped past for a nice quick find. Signed log and left as found, all good here.
Find #5256 on 5 Feb 2023.

A quick find in a logical location. Cache inside is a little damp and may need a welfare check to be on the safe side.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

Out for a short mental health break. Fresh air and caching. Interesting cache. Thanks For the cache
I decided to do a road trip along the Great Ocean Road this week. It’s been a long time since I travelled along this area and it was certainly before I was into caching! Today I’m traveling from Anglesea to Sugarloaf, just after Lorne.
I thought this was initially going to be on the army vehicle which was surrounded by school children. Fortunately it wasn’t and it was a quick find next to this great piece of art.
Thanks suss vulture for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

So thought I'd get out of Melbourne over Easter and find a few caches, I'd just hit my 1000th cache so thought I can't stop there.
For this trip I visited Aireys Inlet and had a beautiful cottage for 5 days, took some long walks along the waters edge and even ventured into Lorne for an Adventure Cache.
The wife tagged long with me to this wonderful spot. Lots of caches nearby and a great adventure cache as well.
What a great spot to go find some caches.
Thanks for the cache and the hide
The log book has been signed and returned

# 3 Mosaics at Swampy Creek – Flora and Fauna. was transferred from Bushfire to user suss vulture
Visiting the area for the week with Bogonghazy. Quick find. Lovely mosaic. Thanks for placing the geocache
Youngest member of the family found it, we probably over thought this. Beautiful mosaic and nice to learn some botanical names.

Mrs SKI had cache blindness when sh3 tried to find this one. Luckily Mr SKI had his caching glasses on. Cache in good condition
Another day, another time we have teamed up with Rebel Acts to explore the scenic Bellarine Peninsula. Once again we are signing our logs as either SKI Pair, Rebel Acts or RASH. We have been in the area for well over a week now and still have a lot of unfound caches on our map. We’ve had a great time in the area with Rebel, his experience with caching is much larger than ours so we are learning as well as having a great time. Lots of trash talk about “amateur’s” versus “professionals” has caused quite a bit of laughter.
Thanks to all the local cache owners for giving us so many great caches, and showcasing this lovely area. We won’t manage to clean the area out this time, so we will need to come back another time. And we will be looking forward to it.

We decided to take a day off today and head down the coast for some rest and relaxation. We packed the geodogs into the geomobile and headed towards the Great Ocean Road. Another beautiful mosaic, as you can see from the photo. Also, a well-camouflaged cache was missed by both of us a couple of times. A TOTT helped us to see it as the light was fading. The logbook was slightly damp, but otherwise, the cache was in good condition. Thank you for this cache, Bushfire.
No luck with this one unfortunately. Lots of muggles nearby while I tried to look.
Tftc, beautiful walk to get some geocaches. Loved the taxidermy animals in the window, very interesting
Am over from Adelaide to help celebrate my sister's 70th and with some time to kill in Anglesea before meeting up managed to find a nice series by Bushfire and then had only time for a couple more.
Thanks for the cache Bushfire

Second time back here and found it this time. Not sure how we got to miss it the first time. Fortunately quiet enough around here with no muggles around. TFTC.
**Find #2743**
Covert operation at night. Lots of fauna keeping a watch over this cache. After a brief search the cache was in hand. Replaced as found. Nice mosaic.
Thanks **Bushfire**

With today being a rather warm one the Sims_family and Neville_devil ended up at our favourite beach Point Roadnight for an evening swim before having chip sandwiches for dinner at a play ground in Anglesea. Afterwards Neville was in need of a cache to help fill his calendar so we headed over to help him out.
At GZ the whole family where helping out as the GPS was jumping around all over the place. It was Sims_family mum that was the one that made the find in the end.
Thank you Bushfire for the hide

Pit stop in Anglesea on the way to Lorne for a much needed camping getaway with friends. Hoping to find plenty of caches up the great ocean road the next few days and hopefully hide one myself. Thanks for the cache bushfire. A nice easy find to start the weekend. I look forward to coming back to Anglesea to see the rest of the mosaics another time
Did not find this one today, gps was wandering all over the place. better luck next time hopefully.
Out doing a few caches while camping at Anglesea. Thanks bushfire for taking me to another spot that I would not have visited. TFTC
Down in the area to check on a number of my caches before Christmas, all good with this guy as nothing requires anything doing so should be good until after the Christmas hoards have passed.
