DNF Sneaky little suck has escaped my eyes today, completed the earth cache and headed for icecream
Sometimes these hidden in plain sight bisons are notoriously hard to find. The GPS was bouncing around a bit being under the trees- but looked all over but it eluded us today. TFTC
Visiting South East Queensland for a week from Port Macquarie. Today we ventured out towards Tamborine Mountain before finishing the afternoon around the Southport area. After a chilly morning, the afternoon warmth was very welcome and made for a rather pleasant day of caching. What a view! This lookout was definitely better than the rotary one, a simply stunning and epic outlook. It was quite busy around but still peaceful enough until a group of rather rowdy ladies came along celebrating a birthday. Rather tricky little hide. Thanks for the cache
Out and about on this beautiful Monday with karen rinora. We toured around, and of course found some smilies along the way. Thanks for adding to our great day! Went in too deep for this one. Spotted it on the way out. TFTC!
Out this morning to collect a few local government area specific caches to close out a challenge cache Ive been working on for sometime. After finding a safe place to park the car I quickly made my way to ground zero where it was too long before i had the cache in my sights.Log extracted and mark made and returned safely to its hiding spot. Now off to the next adventure. Nice hide.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by fellow cachers.
Perfectly good at hiding from me, Ill say! After completing the nearby Earthcache I manage the short wander to the cache location. Cast my curious eye about, wandered a little deeper in than required I gathered after reading logs. Looked some more, peered closer and shoved my face into some bushes all to no avail. With dread I rang the husband, who was sheltering from the cool wind and resting his feet from the ANZAC day march. Come and help me please. Up he wanders and I give a little explanation of what I was looking for and some insight I had gather from the logs and just as he started to look - BOOM! I see it!!There is such magical power in a PAF! The it was a matter of how to access it with the least impact. Hmmm, not the easiest of ways, but I was happy to finally undo it. Signing it with my caching moniker and then getting it back to its well hidden location was done with ease. Then it was a short hobble back to the car and onwards we go!!
A little bit damp but a nice fresh log with plenty of room and the cache not too hard to spot - TFTC
After having lunch at the St Bernards Hotel, we decided to stop here to search for a geo cache. What a beautiful spot to sit and admire the lovely views. At GZ it only took a few minutes to find the sneaky hide. TFTC
11/2/2024 Find #6821A day out and about with KezzBear and KBreeAHH on a bit of a maintenance check for KezzBear before she ups and leaves us for a new life of adventure. The day was filled with fun, food and memories but with a tinge of sadness too knowing this would definitely be our last adventure together for some time. I would say the cache was found in Perfectly good condition, however the log needed replacing, so KezzBear gave me a new one then headed back to the car. It was not quite a Perfectly good log tho as it was marginally too big for the container, so I had to take it back over to the CO who then had to use her Perfectly good scissors to reduce it to a Perfectly suitable size. Thanks for the cache KezzBear. P.S. I have no intention of jumping off a Perfectly good piece of land with not much more than a bit of fabric to keep me afloat in the air!
Took a shonky turn following the GPS whereas I should have turned the other way because the cache was right there at the top.
Last time we were visiting and wanted to attempt this cache, there was nowhere to park within 10 miles of the place. It was a different story today with the wind blowing the wrong way and parking aplenty. We crossed the road and followed the arrow, down a little trail down the slope. After not spotting anything, we read some previous logs where it was mentioned that there was no need to go down that trail at all so we headed back up to the path and surprisingly saw the cache straight away. Thanks SaintsMadHouse
It was just over 5 years ago that I logged a DNF on this cache. From memory it was closer to the toilet block and we had to wait and smell all the tourists that were pulling in.At the time I cached with my daughter and I think she was on her learners license at the time clocking up hours. I also think the cliff was full of hang-gliders ready to take off before they walked back up the hill carrying their sails. There werent any hang-gliders today but a couple of tourist buses had turned up for photo opportunities. Thankfully the cache is now away from the amenities.Having said that we had to use the amenities and Mrs Woodyrothwell can only stomach toilets that flush. She would rather let her bladder burst than use a long-drop loo. From afar it looks like the kind of toilets that are built over something she doesnt want to know about, so I always have to go in first to let her know if she is squeezing or can play on. I walked in and gave her the thumbs up. Its great to avenge an old DNF. tftc
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Saints Mad House [^]
Coords a little off so we spent longer than we should on this one. Amazing lookout!
found this one after a photoshoot by this beautiful lookout while waiting for the sunset!!
signed it with a smiley using eyeliner bc it’s all we had:)

Found it! Today we decided to drive to Mount Tambourine! We discovered it is a bit like the Dandenongs where we live but tropical and no hang gliders. Here we watched a couple of paraglides set off and then went and found this cache. It was a quick find at GZ. TFTC SL. All is good here!
Quick find with rite on a beautiful location. Pen didn't want to write on the paper though so see picture.

Took the KG kids out (eldest is 12 today!) to do some caching now the 12yo has a caching bag of tricks. Took a while but she deciphered the clues and came up with the goods!
Probably the last one of the bay cause we’re drunk. Wineries for the girls weekend away. Ali made the the find. TFTC, found with Ali, Sarah, Casey and I.
Like everyone else seems to, walking from the launch area I reached a trail to left, turned and wrnt down it when I should have just turned to the rigjt and grabbed the cache.
TFTC and greetings from Tassie

All I can say is don't be a sheep / lemming. Found this to be about 8 m out (on our GPS that isn't always very accurate). After reading prior logs worked out where we needed to be and the cache came to hand. Sneaky indeed. TFTC.
The Esky family went to Tamborine for a short getaway. Today it was time to head to the Gold Coast for an appointment before returning home to Toowoomba. Having driven past this lookout a half dozen odd times over the last couple of days, we finally stopped on our way to have breakfast. The perfect time...no one else around...unlike sunset where the crowds descend with their chairs. We were sent down the garden path but after reading logs we readjusted our search and soon made the find. TFTC SaintsMadHouse.
Found while out exploring Mt Tamborine for the day.
Pen didn’t work, sent photo of cache in hand to owner.

Needing to keep my personal challenges kicking along, I planned to head out early to find my nearest Adventure lab at Mt. Tamborine and then be back to get ready for more work around the place.
Then during the night, I hear the sound of new caches being published. OMGoodness, there is one not far from where I plan to be tomorrow. A sudden rush of excitement, an urgency, then the thrill of a possible new cache to sign. I guess I will be leaving a little earlier than I thought.
I arrived near GZ and headed over to this one. The drizzle seemed to keep all the walkers away this morning. I signed the log and replaced all as found. I then headed off to grab a couple others in this area. Thanks for the hide and the cache.

Found after an early unfruitful search. Beaut spot to stop. One hang glider in the air. TFTC
This weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T), baby Cottontail and I had planned to spend a night in Tamborine Mountain. On Friday, we walked Palm Grove, The Knoll National Park, had a browse up-down Gallery Walk, and visited a winery. On Saturday, we participated in the local parkrun followed by a walk to Witches Falls Lookout. Overall, we had a terrific trip with great accommodation and excellent hospitality, so a return visit in the future is likely.
Today, upon arriving at Palm Grove, we targeted the [Palm Grove](https://coord.info/GC58GDA) Intercache and used that to walk a complete circuit of the area. We must have been lucky with the weather as it only started to rain after we returned back to the car. After having lunch at Gallery Walk, we scoped out our accommodation and while baby Cottontail had a nap, I visited a few geocaches. The afternoon was then spent visiting Witches Falls Winery (recommended!) followed by a walk in Knoll National Park to Cameron Falls Lookout. The day concluded with a fantastic pizza dinner and beer.
Great views nearby! This cache was reasonably quick to find, although it wasn't camouflaged as per the hint. Perfectly good nonetheless! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I did note that the last finders were not in the logbook. Thanks SaintsMadHouse for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

A classic, popular view but no hang gliders here this early afternoon.
Like the many before, I took the trail through the bush. Scared off a rat down the hill but spotted no cache. Read some logs within the trees, found 11 was the magic number and used this to get in sight of the cache.

Visiting Gold Coast from UK to see family and enjoying the view. Could not resist checking and made a quick find. TFTC.
It’s a perfect location for a cache.
Not at all busy here at the moment. A good chance to grab this cache.
All good here.
Thank you.

Quick find but only lid found hanging. Bison and log found on ground, soaked from recent rain. Signed but log will need replacing. We unfortunately don't carry paper for that size. The view from nearby look out is amazing. TFTC
After abit of wandering due to uncooperative GPS found this when ready to give up. Lovely day exploring My Tamborine.
Nice find in this beautiful place after a lovely lunch TFTC. A fav for the view
There were the usual hordes at the lookout but I made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
One of 27 found today. I was on a maintenance run with SaintsMadHouse as they had a few to check up on. Happy to help and make sure they could be found and see what needed to be checked.
Thanks for a quick find while out looking at the beautiful scenes of Mt. Tambourine today
Tftc SaintsMadHouse , we had a great day out today, driving around . After a big day yesterday. The scenery here is pretty special. Thanks for bringing us here.
Took a while to spot this little guy, T rating is spot on.

Bisons are shrinking these days. The terrain rating and gps were pushing me in slightly different directions; the terrain was right. TftC.
Nice little hide. We've just finished a Christmas present up here, a lovely puzzle picnic where you get clues to fiind the next addition to your basket. Fun! TFTC
Lovely shiny cache container, spotted when I was a couple of metres away, in a place out of sight of the many muggles that stop by here for the view. Completed the nearby earthcache and then headed over for this one. Nice quick find, log nice and dry. TFTC.

Found it walked right passed it because gps is off. thanks to another log I was able to find it. If it says you are 11m away then is right there.

A quick stop to check out the view and have a look at the nearby Earthsche. It was a bit windy and cool so we didn’t hang around long. Thank you.
A quick find on a quiet morning. Amazing views today with clear skies all around. TFTH
Managed to grab and replace during breaks in the traffic on a very busy market day Sunday. Perfect location. TFTC
Navigation took us into the bushes for a bit, looks like others have done the same. Finally found! TFTC
Eep! Watch the bull ants on this one. Could get more than you bargained for! Lovely views nearby! Tftc
When we got to ground GZ I thought how are we going to find a micro here, but luckily it caught my eye. TFTC
