Unfortunately I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.
Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=56).

Accidently archived this location, am looking to check the location before giving it away in the next few weeks, meant to suspend the listing until repaired.

I appreciate the good intentions of TamikaM1997 in bringing the situation regarding this cache to the attention of the geocaching community.
Logging information regarding a cache is certainly to be encouraged and is a great way to alert the community to an issue with a cache. However, making direct contact with the CO via email/message and acquainting them of your observation AND/OR logging a 'Needs Maintenance" log on the cache page is the preferable first step. Please only use the 'Needs Archive' log when there are serious problems with the cache or its location, or if the CO has not responded to a 'Needs Maintenance' log.
Posting a 'Needs Maintenance' log on the cache page notifies both the geocaching community as well as the cache owner. This log adds an attribute to the page (looks like a colored cross) to alert other geocachers of the needed repairs. Needs Maintenance logs are not forwarded to reviewers, but they are the first step in the Archive process.
If the geocache has not been found for a reasonable amount of time and the cache owner has not reacted to a "Needs Maintenance" log, then that is the time to post a "Needs Archived" log on the listing. Please read the Help Centre article: [When a cache needs maintenance](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=107&pgid=434)
**A recent Needs Maintenance log has not actually been placed on this cache. so I am placing one with this log.**

Should have read previous logs before coming. But clearly not here. All searched and then read logs.
Came back today with a fellow geocacher who had previously found this cache. After a discreet search i was advised the cache appears missing

Had a quick look however after all of the DNFs we were not too enthusiastic. It would be good to have a note from the CO to say that it is in place or otherwise!
I had the place to meself at lunchtime today
How jammy is that !!! [:o]
Yet being free to search at will,
did not help me find any trace of this cache

This was another place that was just beautiful to stop at but we left empty- handed. Not through lack of trying either as there were very few muggles about who were paying us no attention at all so had plenty of time to look.
Couldn't find. May have been washed away in resent floods. But couldn't have a real good look, to many muggles
A couple of boating muggles were fishing just out from the jetty, but were too concerned with calling out to eachother across the water to take any notice of us. We had a quick look around before I spotted something that looked like a possibility. Ooh luck was on my side which made for a quick find. SL Thanks Chaplain Mike and Smart Sassy Siren.
Loved this one. Found in a reasonable time. Will call this one a group find with 97 doing the retrieval. The two muggles in their moored boat got a giggle and they did ask what we were doing so the newbie did the geo-explain quite well, the two muggles even threw in a suggestion or two on where to look before we found it, and it sure was how I thought it may be.. very in your face lol...
After finding a Multi cache I had a look for this one, without success, so went and had some dinner, and brought some along to eat while researching. Just one muggle went wondering by while I was increasing my circles, trying to find it.
When I went back to GZ I thought I would have a different look, and sure enough, there it was.

We looked high and low for this for a while before realising what we were looking at. While I have seen these before it is worth a fave point for the enjoyment it gave us in finally finding it, and 4maal who hadn't seen one before.

Returning from a quick trip to East Gippsland, I picked up this cache. Thanks for hiding it. I had to wait for a muggle to move on, so had my lunch and read through previous logs. After an extended search, I located and signed the log.
On our way to Lake Tyers to catch up with some relatives - thought we'd have a quick look for a couple of caches along the way.
Argh!! Muggles everywhere.
Another DNF on this one.
Maybe next lot of holidays on July when it's winter & cold there won't be as many people sitting on the jetty fishing.
Thanks anyway - we'll be back.

Totally busted by muggles who had been watching us from a nearby restaurant But they did give us a helping hand by pasding on a tip from the restaurant owner. Really liked this cache and I think it deserves a favourite point!

The Booo's found this cache, Well... That was familiar and oh so much more difficult than it should have been but thanks to Gabba2 we found the cache in the end

Quite a tricky one but eventually found! Not sure it would get wet if dropped! Good historical facts. Thanks!
The first day of a challenge trip to East Gippsland with BettyBoo3747.
Drove from Melbourne to Lakes Entrance via South Gippsland (needed a LGA for BB)
Grabbed random caches on the way.
A lovely spot down by the river today - green grass, slight breeze, and no muggles - perfect.
Just a question, how much do you write when you don't do a "Bit" of history?
Interesting description of the area, and its inhabitants.
A familiar hide, but still took us a while to locate.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 9772. After two tiring days spent at Melbourne's Mega Event Robmc and I are now on two weeks holiday and travelling to Lakes Entrance. A long day on the road picking up a few caches along the way. Hopefully a more relaxing time for a while......
A beautiful spot by the water and only a few people further along the shores left us in peace to search here. Took us a little longer than it should have before we spotted a hide that is familiar to us. I like these bold hides.
Our last one for the afternoon, now we really must continue on to our accommodation.
Thanks Chaplain Mike

Visiting my slightly mad aunt at the underground round punt. Went down early to beat the fisherman, a nice easy find after exhausting the more obvious spots.. thanks..!!
Found this one today on my caching adventure from Lakes Entrance to Phillip Island. The caches on this route were chosen because they were higher difficulty or that they were isolated. This was the third cache found and it caused me problems. I looked in all the wrong places and think I may have attracted the attention of the people in 2 boats nearby as a council worker did a sweep after I had found the cache (maybe just a normal sweep!). Eventually found in and a quick sign had me on my way.
Thanks for the cache Chaplin Mike.
Thanks for the cache Chaplin Mike.
An instruction like don't drop it turns all my fingers to thumbs and the cache was lucky to stay on dry land. Liked the hide and the peaceful place - thanks.
After the muggle left we had the place to ourselves and a peaceful place it was. Managed to keep the cache dry from both the rain and the river so all was well. TFTC
Took a while, and we had to leave to clear our heads and come back for a fresh look. TNLN TFTC
When we were here yesterday there were a few muggles fishing nearby. We went for a bit of a walk around and they were still fishing when we came back. Today we were coming past again and decided to have another look. After spending some time on hands and knees we decided to widen our search area a little. It was soon after this that Mrs Jacko discovered the cache.

Found with ahomburg on a caching adventure. Pulled up at the nearby carpark to begin a hunt. A yacht arrived at the jetty and the sailors got out and moored it. I thought our caching exploits here were dashed until I spied something suspicious near to Adriaan. Quietly I whispered a clue to Adriaan who silently removed the cache, signed the log and replaced it whilst exquisite knots were tied on the jetty below.

Find #4473
I had been looking forward to this long weekend for some time. Day1976 and I had planned to get the cache at the top of Australia as his #1000 find late last year, but the weather was against us and the walk to the top of Kosciusko was not to be. A look at the weather leading into the weekend looked good so it was decided to head up Friday, finding somewhere to camp towards Cooma. It turned out the spot we chose also had a Folk Music festival on the same weekend, so a very full campsite when we arrived. I also had a few maps to fill for the Victoria Country Road Atlas Challenge.
Its great to stop and find caches along the way and it's great to break up the drive and this one was no different. It took some time to locate this one and when we did and had signed a boat pulled in, so had to wait for the occupants to turn their back before a sneaky return of the cache.
Thanks to Chaplain Mike and Smart Sassy Siren for placing this cache. TNLN

Being the only male in my house, and dealing with teen and preteen females you can understand my need to get some 'man time' and luckily I have a very understanding wife who two days ago said 'you've got a free week why dont you go away fishing'....."?"..what was that whooshing noise going out the door??.....I ended up in Lakes Entrance yesterday as I figured 4hrs was enough space between Me , Miss 'you dont understand me' and Miss ' me me me'..but I digress. .tried a spot of fishing around the islands etc..but to no avail, had a bit of a drive and got talking to a couple of locals as I was fueling up and they put me onto here..this is what I needed, not a soul about and some beautiful scenery, as a matter of chance I had a look to see if there may be any caches about because it looked the perfect spot for one and 'walla'..I went looking for the cache and had it in hands in a couple of minutes once I started using my caching head instead of the logical one, clever hides these I've come across a couple similar ones before, I have had to sign just my initials MT scratched onto the logbook with bark because for the life of me I could not find a pen or pencil..you can confirm with your own eyes or via the next logger, I'm cool with that ..so..SL TFTC..this one gets a favourite point from me just for being in a beautiful part of the world, thanks for bringing me here..and the rant..oh just as a matter of interest I did watch and follow a seal for quite a while as it chased down these huge golden perch, tossing them through the air and devouring them..was brilliant to watch..
In high winds the gps was throwing us all over the place - but at least the poor weather meant no muggles!! Tftc - awesome one!! Funny Christmas tree nearby!
Found with draw four. Travelling around with draw four whilst he was working in the area and I was on school holidays. I came down here by myself during the day but was muggled out. Looked in a few spots. Came back later with draw four and we found just before we were going to leave. tftc.
Found with Wild Josh. Been here a couple of times but always muggled out. Took a while but finally found. Tftc
What a beautiful place. We loved it here. Bit frustrated trying to find the cache then one simple comment gave me the ah ha moment. Happy to find and log our first for the day. TFTC

First cache on our 11th wedding anniversary. Be careful when getting this one its not all one piece.
What a great hide! Tricky but found with neighbours encouraging us to not give up. The geo kids started to get frustrated so I stepped in to help make the find. Signed and replaced.
This one had us scratching our heads for awhile, the tricky hide earns a favorite from us TFTC
What a great hide! Had to do it at night due to 5 attempts during the day but too many muggles. Found with Tbelf. Adding as favorite.
Found this one on the way back from up the creek
Great cache!!!
Thanks Mike and Maree
Great cache!!!
Thanks Mike and Maree
A few muggles about but managed a look around anyway.
No luck tho.
Will try again next time we're up this way.

Thanks for this cache and bringing us here to Johnsonville, its a beautiful place. The sun was shining and making the water sparkle today. We searched for a little while for this one, but found it when looking from the right angle. Thanks again, Chaplain Mike.
Don't know how but I walked up and spotted this one within 30 seconds. Good hide. Tftc
Too many muggles in the immediate area today so was unable to mount any sort of realistic search. A quick look round revealed nothing obvious. Thanks for the cache anyway.
Great hide. This type of cache was one of the first type I ever found. So picked it out very quickly. TFTC and for taking me to this great place
Had a great day caching and enjoying the outdoors as usual. Many kilometres put on the geoPatrol to add to the numbers. Now it is a waiting game for the next opportunity to get out again.
Many thanks Chaplain Mike for placing this cache.
Many thanks Chaplain Mike for placing this cache.
Pulled up near GZ and noticed a few muggles around but not on the jetty. Found quite quickly after a short look at a boat moored at the jetty to make sure noone was on board. Thanks Mike and Maree for placing this cache.
Looked for this cache hide 12 months ago with no luck. On this occasion we found this cache in no time and could not understand why it alluded us the first time around. TFTC Chaplain Mike
It wasn't exactly in plain site, nor was it over water, but it certainly was a good hide!!
Lots of fun.

I should have seen it last time i tried to find this cache.
I have found other hidden in this way.
I must not had my caching eyes on last time!

Found on the way back to Melbourne after a lovely trip to Lakes Entrance with QinNai.
Was approached by the owner of the restaurant across the road, wondering how we got to that spot as Google maps had been sending her customers to the other side of the river! Hopefully she can harness some awesome GPS powers!
TFTC, nice hide!

Had to take 3 and a half tonne of floor tiles to a job in Lakes Entrance from Warragul, after dropping them off I swung past this one,I got to gz it took some time to locate the cache but I stood back and saw something that just didn't look right and what do you know there was the cache. Sl thanks Chaplain Mike for the cache.
Had my caching brain working today and found this really quickly. Excellent hide. TFTC peeps
Sorry to the people who have recently logged a DNF but on a check to the area about 2 weeks ago, we discovered that some maintenance works had been undertaken on the jetty which included new hand rails (not a clue by the way).
We thank those who have logged a DNF for this cache, as it shows the difficulty of finding this cache for some people. We thank those who have found it for not photographing it as well.
The recent works saw the cache untouched and still hided in it's intended fashion, to the point that the workmen from Gippsland Ports did not disturb the hide location either.
Regards

Had a good search at the Jetty but failed to locate a cache. Some work had recently been done on the jetty in preparation for the Bream Classic - fishing competition. May be the cache was disturbed during the works!
Find #785 logged at GZ at 09:24, will update shortly.... T4TC Chaplain Mike and Smart Sassy Siren!
It was unseasonably warm, so my week up at Hotham did not involve skiing. I left early, visiting friends in Lakes Entrance and Metung, before heading back home to Melbourne. But before leaving, I did a bit of caching, as you do.
I loved this one!! Had me going for a short while, then I spotted something that made no sense at all. Having ruled everything else out, it had to be the cache. Yessirree! A fave for sure!

Yay - found it while on a quick visit to East Gippsland. Very peaceful here today. Lots of cars and trailers parked nearby but not one muggle near GZ to annoy me on my quest to find this cache. Thanks Chaplain Mike and Smart Sassy Siren for the this hide. Very clever indeed.
We had an idea of what we were looking for but couldn't see it for looking. Guess yo e just got to be in the right spot. Clever cache. Tftc
Thanks for the history of Johnsonville in your notes. Thanks also for the hint! Found with taurus1955. TFTC
Nice quick fond even with muggles about a quick distraction by moo and myself and Mat had it in hand log signed sneakily put it back an away to the next one. Tfth
After searching for a good 20 minutes, the 7 of us were ready to give up as darkness ascended, when geo-tween found the treasure. Beaut hide. Tftc.
Had us lost for a few minutes but concentration and attention to what the GPS was telling us lead us to this clever little hide. Well done and thanks.
