bunadoorian, Smrff78 and myself were on an adventure today and we have found all the caches I had planned to find. We found caches in new LGA's, a new state (NSW), 5 different types in a day - all for Smrff78 including her 500th find milestone. This was our last cache for the day and the 5th type. TFTC and for bringing us here tigersden.
10/10 Hoo Rah !! Thanks for an AMAZING DAY Bundoorian & Grubb62 .. Had an AWESOME day !! SL,TFTC
Out and about with Smrff78 and Grub62 for a day of geocaching. On our way home now and this is our last cache. Nice puzzle and a good sized cache. Thanks for the entertainment and TFTC.
Gathered the information and calculated the coordinates so all that was left was to make the find. The cache was found in good condition.
It's time for the Great Victorian Cache Crawl 2024!! Accommodation booked, bags packed, supplies stocked, RoamingHowies geovehicle (Tex) filled, caches selected and downloaded, all set for a weekend jam-packed with adventure, conversation, laughs, food and coffee!Did this multi in reverse. RoamingHowie had previously found it, so led me to gz where I added my name to the logbook. We then stopped at the posted coords, where I took photo of the sign.Once home and catching up on logging, I made the required calculations to update my personal notes. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, tigersden ~~
A great way to find a couple of caches in Colbinabbin before the weekend Cache Crawl event. Nice and easy as we entered town.
Found by Mary and David at 16:15. D had solved this at home, but had omitted saving them to the GPSrs, so a quick calculation on the spot fixed it all. Glad to find the cache still in place. Our thanks to tigersden.
Im not sure Ive found any of this series before, but I certainly found others of similar series in the Bendigo district. The required numbers were manipulated to find GZ not far away. Several other teams were at GZ to make a quick find in a great location. Thanks for the fun.
Came upon this one as another couple were retrieving from its hiding hole. Had a quick chat then headed off into town to the event. Stayed in Girgarre overnight before heading to Colbinabbin and Echuca for the Great Victorian Cache Crawl events. Dodging rain as we gather some smilies along the way. Thanks for hiding and maintaining this cache.
Crunched the numbers and got to GZ.needed to be a contortionist to grab the cache. Teamwork meant we eventually had the cache in hand. Clue noted. Thanks for the cache tigersden.
We are making our way slowly to Canbera for the mega spending a few days in each area to look around and see what there is to see as a tourist. All is good with this cache. SL TFTC
Found on our way back to SA after attending the Mega Event in Rutherglen, searching for caches along the way. Today we spent a few hours around Shepparton and Tatura, before heading further afield. Made the observations, did the calculations and located the hide! Thanks for the cache tigersden!
Found as I made my way back to Adelaide after attending the Mega Event at Rutherglen over Easter.
The required information was collected, final coordinates determined, then it was off to GZ for the find.
Thanks tigersden for the cache.

I was on a road trip with sushilord heading to Bendigo for a few days and finding caches far and wide. We weren't after numbers just out of the way places and caches with lots of favourite points. We had an enjoyable and fun time, but I was stuffed by the time we got home.
I love a good wine but we were on a mission today and no time to stop for wine...maybe next time.[?]
We found the required number, did the sums and headed off to GZ for a quick find.

JJ52 and myself had a fun and productive three days traveling to visit Bendigo and finding some caches along the way. Any excuse to stretch the car's legs. Today's goal was some cache maintenance in Mitiamo then some caches NE of Bendigo.
It's always nice when the cache is located further along the road in the direction of your travel, no need to back track.
Thanks for the cache tigersden.

I just love multis, probably because I find them slightly easier than the puzzles which I must say I'm useless at.

A nice quick multi. Doing the winery tours always makes me want to finish the day with a glass or two, i think i will again tonight.
Apologies for late log. Another beauty of a multi undertaken to fill gaps in a grid. I thank you tigersden for again providing quality caches still in action. Container does need a little tlc though .
Nice quick multi and the perfect hiding place for a cache. I look forward to completing the series. TFTC

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.
Loved the eagle at posted coords.

Heading back south after a fantastic getaway in Swan Hill and Echuca we made our way in an unorthodox route to pick up unfounds along the way.
We scrambled in behind the vegetation to find this cache sitting nicely in a logical position.

I had come for the mystery puzzle final (again) and couldnt find it (again).
I wasn't walking away totally empty handed though.
I trecked a little further down the road and seen me a great big eagle then soon found me a clever little multi.
TFTC tigersden.
Maybe not finding the associated Mystery cache is just my penance for not finding this one first.

Day #12 and nearing the end of the holiday.
I’ve just realised why I hadn’t found clues in some of these caches and why it doesn’t even matter! I had separately solved the puzzle linked to these caches without even putting the two together. I had come here to find the puzzle but unfortunately no luck but nabbed the trads/multi linked to it instead.
Thanks tigersden for placing the hide!

Many times I have tried to solve this but for some reason I never got the right answers. So I came back a few weeks ago to grab details & try again & came up with what looked like reasonable GZ. So today we ventured out to see & I was definitely on the money. Cache in good order. Beautiful eagle. Love this road and the views. TFTC!
Finally grabbed this cache, for two reasons really. My geosister informed me that she collected this cache, and I thought good for her, then I looked and realised I haven’t got a cache on this day on my calendar...so I thought, it’s time to get it. Having solved in months ago it didn’t take me long to get to GZ and soon had cache in hand. I’ve driven past and admired this carved eagle for years...it’s awesome. Thanks for being me here tigersden
Logged the wrong date (28 instead of 27). Loved the eagle and the cache. It is strange to see no geotracks at some of these cache sites.

After enjoying a fantastic weekend away at the St Arnaud mega event, it was time to head home to Newcastle, with a few select cache stops along the way.
Well wine isn’t my thing, but wine related caches will do just fine! Enjoyed visiting both WP’s, and the cache was found without any issues.

TFTC. We are camped at Greens Lake for a few days with members of our Motorhome Club. Decided that we should go out and attempt the Winery trail and the multi in Colbinabbin. They were all straightforward finds and in good condition.
Quicker find than we expected.
Quicker find than we expected.
I had a job interview in Ballarat and so Rex and I headed off for a 3 day trip which gave us the chance to spend some time in the bush around Bendigo on the way Harry gets into some amazing places and a couple of motorbike riders couldn't believe their eyes when they saw us
I didn't get the job (although now I have a much nicer one![^]) and we did get to cache some great spots and views! [^]
I got to see Kryal Castle (well the outside at least) which I had visited about 34 years ago when my daughter was only 2 years old , I saw the fog and cloud from Mt Warrenheip as we cached in drizzly rain , I found what I thought might have been a puzzle cache GZ but it sure wasn't [xx(][xx(] although it was a plastic container in a hole in a tree [xx(] and on the way home, we had memories of Adelaide as we found a cache in the Mount Lofty Reserve
All up we DNFd 3 caches and we found 34 caches.
As I have been about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

Mrs. Suscoe headed out today with the good folks of the Phetlern team for a day's caching south of Echuca. Mr. S decided to have a day back at our accommodation to take things quietly.

Found by edmil & Maddie @ 3:20 on 14/10/2016. This was one of a number of caches in this series that we located. We were hoping to log them once we found the final cache however we haven't got back to finish. As the classic geocaching app is about to be retired thought i had better upload all the pending logs.
Today we headed out for further caching fun and as always a huge day of fun followed.

A good simple multi which is all the brain power we need first thing of a morning. Thought this cache had some amazingly realistic swaps till we realised they ARE real, they were accessing their fab little weatherproof home by a hole they'd chewed in the bottom. Mrs G? . . . not so excited to see cockroaches! TFTC tigersden.
Took a geo-adventure with Bogonghazy, SorceySal and the geodogs for Father's Day. Fantastic adventure with lots of caching along the way. Big thanks to SS who drove. Had a wonderful adventure with friends. Thanks for adding to our adventure. Managed to solve a couple of these myself, but I think I was a hinderance on this one, lol.
On the way to Echuca in the company of bogonghazy, leetalicious and the 2 geo dogs. We decided to go the long way as none of had cached this area. Loved the statue of the eagle. Got the required numbers and off to gz where another quick find was made. Thanks tigersden for a tour of this area
A generous offer from Sorceysal to put some more K's on her new Rav4, had Leetalicious, myself and the 2 geodogs heading to Heathcote for the event, and then onto some great caches.
We once again did the numbers here, and it was LL who made the find at GZ

Today, we did a loop from Shepparton to Corop, Colbinabbin, Whroo & a few towns in between.
The weather was great - not too hot, and the roads dry and dusty.
We found a good variety of traditional, multi caches and a few puzzles.

# 3149. Robmc and I were travelling north to Moama to spend a few days before the Anzac day event. We zig-zagged there following some caches along the way.
We came to a roaring halt when we saw the large eagle looming at the gateway before even looking for a cache. It was extremely difficult getting a good photo because of the angle of the sun, unfortunately. We sat in the car and worked out what was required at WP1 before heading back down the road to begin the search for the real deal. We prodded and fossicked our way around for a while before I was lucky enough to have the cache in hand. TFTC Tigersden.

Lesson to learn at this cache was to not always trust your geomates! PaddyJak had found this one previously and had come along for the drive, I gathered required information and PaddyJak was sure she had found it in nearby cluster of trees, so I headed there and had a look around before actually working out final coordinates and headed to gz in opposite direction of where PaddyJak thought she had found it! Oh Bacchus !!! Give me a sign as to where this cache is hiding !!!
I got one in the form of a very menacing looking eagle ready to swoop down and carry me back to it's eyrie where hungry eaglets would peck my eyeballs out [:o]
I don't know if I like this NEBWT trail [:o]
With the eagle eying me off, I made it back to the safety of the geomobile wth the magic numbers
Now to find the cache
A safe distance away I pulled over and had a longish search for the cache.
10 minutes I think it was before I realised that there was a hidey hole my eagle eyes couldn't spot

#3697 We're quite enjoying the drive through the area on a beautiful summers day, although being mid morning it was starting to warm up quite a bit. We were a little lazy and jotted down the numbers from the comfort of the air-conditioning before working out where GZ would lead us. Found the cache in good condition and well hidden. Noted the clues before heading off once again. Our thanks to tigersden for the cache, series and views of the district [^]

Found at 12.15pm. All the tigersden caches that I've found on this series have had accurate coords, as did this one. However, I don't think the Checksum on this one is accurate. I was concerned that my figures didn't add up, but not to worry, they were aspot on for cache finding. TFTC. TNLN.
Sorry tigersden for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks tigersden for placing this cache.
Leaving Bendigo and going home via a more scenic route we don't often travel on we hoped to pick up a few caches on the way and this series was the main attraction. Once at wpt 1 we were soon converting letters to numbers and then had a quick double check as we can be quite good at messing these things up and then off to gz. Here we again began to doubt our workings but after about ten minutes of searching Diane spotted the hide that we made a lot harder than it had to be and our name is now in the log.
