Needed to get a few things done in Ipswich, which left with me with some free time to cache ...Also, my geodog Scruffy wanted to do some caching as well Found cache but as I went to retrieve, it came alive with a green ant's nest round it.Only bitten once on knuckle of thumb, so not to bad.All Good .. TFTC ..
Made our way a little ways off track and began the search. it wasnt too long before DisSister made the find. TFTC
A short but pleasant walk along the trail towards GZ before going off the trail for a short distance. Looking about, I decided to check out a couple of options and were pleased to see the cache when we checked out the third option. Nicely crafted. Thanks a muggle no more
Anything with an Old Hag history send a shiver up my spine. No different today, a per usual jumpy GPS and having to think whether barking g would help or hinder my search. Eventually the ca he was located.
Set out with my Fiance for our very first ever geocaching adventure . Took us a little bit of time but we managed to find it .
Today I was in the area seeking a cache with very specific attributes for a challenge that I am working on. I was very close to this one and decided to revisit it. I had been here briefly before about 6 months ago but did not have much time to look that day and couldn't find it. I did go home and read through some logs after that so today I had a better idea of where to look and it didn't take too long to find the cache. Very clever hide a muggle no more!
After almost giving up on this one we finally found what was ‘out of place’. A GH!
Fifth find today! Pumpkin and I were headed home when we decided on one last stop.
Can definitely say that we were barking up the wrong tree.. peaceful area, lots of large metal pieces and glass around so be careful!
Things are not as they seem, so look carefully fellow geo seekers. 100% recommend, jump in your geomobiles and check it out when you get a chance.
Don’t be like us and almost give up, keep searching! We were already dirty from seeking trolls and taking strolls in the bush so don’t be afraid to get dirty in this small bush land. TFTC!

P.S bag has a few holes in it so it might need replacing unfortunately we didn’t have any bags with us. Also had to start a new log due to the other ones being wet. They are legible but we didn’t want to risk tearing them.
I decided to take advantage of the public holiday today and head out to Ipswich for a spot of caching rather than the usual Monday commute to work. I was after one cache in particular to meet the requirements of a challenge, but of course there were other caches to find, including this one.
Found a place to park in a side street and took a leisurely stroll off to GZ. No muggles around to worry about as I ducked off the path to begin my search. Sadly I failed to notice the GZ location for what it actually was, and instead searched a somewhat similar nearby object before eventually relocating back to the original object and locating the nicely hidden cache. On my second attempt searching this area, I have found it! Great hide by the CO.

I was barking up the wrong tree. Surprising find after I thought it might be ur typical sistema in a bush. Loutastic once again the one to make the find. This was find number 6 for today. TFTC.
Really awesome cache! Had to widen our search during our recent stay in Ipswich, but then we were able to sign the log.

It’s raining in Brisbane today, so my caching plans changed…. I thought about driving up the range chasing FTFs… but common sense won out…
I found a nice point of entry from Heritage Drive and was soon at GZ… I had a preconceived idea about what this would be… I was wrong…
A typically bespoke An Old Hag cache… a loss to the game as no longer plays…

Wasn’t barking up the wrong tree, GPS had me barking in the wrong area, and speaking to a muggle home owner, others had the same issue. Approach this cache from Heritage Drive, not Glasgow BLVD like I did first time. Unable to sign due pen not working.
If my GPS was correct, couldn’t get where I wanted to look, extremely overgrown at the moment, and just recovering from broken arm, so didn’t want to risk tripping
In the area for an event and some local caches with chamad. We were making our way towards the Ipswich area and stopped in here. I had always enjoyed caches by an old hag, so knew we were in for something different here.
After a lengthy search in all the wrong places, chamad made the call and the cache was found.
Thanks an old hag and a muggle no more for placing and maintaining the cache.

Out today with Willis007, it was going to be a short day of caching. We had an event and some caches to grab around the Ipswich and Fernvale areas. The plan was to first stop at the event and then work our way back to home via a few fun caches. We did have a fun day, first the event and then it was a drive around Ipswich and Brassall looking at caches.
We got a few good caches and got to chase a few butterflies along the way. A drive across the freeway and we were soon at this cache. We searched around and were looking for something very much different to what we found, lol. The ants had made a nice home in there. I guess we were barking up the wrong tree at first. We signed the log and replaced the cache as found, less the ants and then headed onto the next cache in the area. thanks for the cache and hide, all good with this one.

Finally managed a visit to QLD after 2 years of planning and 6 lockdowns. New LGA's for me and fav caches were the main caches of focus.
This was soon spotted at GC. Nicely done.
Thanks to a muggle no more. Placed by an old hag for the placement and fun.

We wandered around for quite a while and even overlooked the cache a few times. Eventually we looked closer and everything made sense, including the name of the cache. Thanks for the cache!
Out with Mr CuriousQuest, finding a few caches. Our phones refused to settle here, so our search took in quite a large area. Eventually, I spotted something and went to investigate. Sure enough, it was the cache. With our names added to the log and everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Out and about today with Selva Girls to pick up some caches today. Sneaky one we signed the log and returned as found. TFTC
Very cute cache we just found a little spot on the log to write our names. Log was full and a bit damp. TFTC
We haven’t been in this neck of the woods before. Always good to explore new ground.
Around GZ we started inspecting everything and before too long we found the cache.
All is well here. Thanks to all involved with placing and maintaining this cache.

We are Grey Nomads staying at Karrabin and discovering Ipswich via geocaching. No better way to find your way around. I really enjoyed this one. TFTC.
I thought too much tree, so I was stuck for a little while. But cache all good TFTC
I was out filling in time while my muggle partner worked nearby. A quick stroll in nature, and then a bit more strolling in circles while the gps settled here. Eventually I had a closer look at something I had passed a few times, and what do you know...a cache! Tftc a muggle no more and an old hag
We came upon your cache, a muggle no more. Placed by an old hag, while geocaching around Ipswich with Snickersallan, Entdeckerschildkröte and Patrol14
Red herrings didn't fool RoddyC. His smartphone led him straight to GZ.
Log signed and replaced at 10:40 am on 21 December 2017. TFTC.

Out on another adventure in the area with RoddyC, Entdeckerschildkrote and patrol14. There was no barking up the wrong tree here with RoddyC in fine form. A favorite point from me.

Hahaha gotta love an Old Hag cache! I am always nervously excited looking for her caches as you never quite know what to expect and this one was no different. Quick find with more than a little chuckle when found. Thank you Muggle No More for adopting.
**# 17092** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect warm Winter day for a drive around while staying in Ipswich.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly not too difficult hides.
I was surprised here, it was a quick easy find.
Thanks for the cache a muggle no more,

I was out at Haigslea this morning taking my birds for a training flight, and I had planned to drop by here on the way back and grab a couple of caches
This one strangely took me a little while (about fifteen minutes) before I spotted it, as my GPSr was taking ages to settle, and I was looking in the wrong spot lol
Eventually though I noticed something out of place and upon investigation I discovered that it was hiding the cache container! [^]
The log sheet was extracted and dutifully signed and dated. Then all was replaced as found in readiness for the next geocaching visitor to come and find it for themselves [8d]
Then I was off to see if I could find another nearby cache before calling it a day.

Awesome cache. As I just adopted this cache, I thought it best to go find it. Cool spot for a quaint cache container.
Don't bark up the wrong tree was transferred from an old hag to user a muggle no more
We found ourselves in this area today and with a bit of time to spare, we decided to find a few caches. We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name in the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you an old hag for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Ipswich, our last day here. Caching mainly around the town because of the wet weather.
Well we were definately on the wrong side of the creek to start with, hubby was left the job of ging to look for it.
He returned saying that it was worth a favourite point.
Thanks for placing this cache an old hag

Interesting cache. Took a young muggle to introduce him to the world of caching.
Out and about with Bennyboppers for an extra few. Bit of a search, but eventually embarked with this one
Tftc like previous comments stood back and looked and it then made sense toot toot

I think we started OFF 'barking up the wrong tree', or at least approaching from the wrong direction.
Got to within 30 metres & thought something wasn't right here.
That's when I saw the path ... over there!
Back into the Geo-beast & it wasn't long before I was approaching the cache along the easier path.
A quick find as the 'container' stood out from it's surroundings.
The name now has a different meaning for me!

Arriving at GZ I knew this being AOH to expected the unexpected. After searching for a while I stood back and looked around. Could it be? Yep - not what I expected. TFTC
Headed to Ipswich today to meet up with family. We decided to grab a cache on the way home and this one fitted what and where we were looking for. Arriving at GZ we were a little surprised as to what it was. TFTC old hag
Igotahunch was dragging us around the bush again....exercise he called, Geocaching I recon. TFTC and a walk in another hilly patch of bushy ipswich.
Ha ha, love the container. I stood there looking at it thinking, no way, then I remembered whose cache it was. I love that the clue is in the title. Nice work again an old hag.
A Whacky Wednesday out on the geocycles with IolantheK today. Some great highs for the day and one major low.
Really barked up the wrong tree here, well with the log anyway. All sorted now ;-P
We approached this one from the wrong direction at first. Only 30m away, but it looked too difficult. A quick back track and we soon found a much more pleasant path
A nice quick find at GZ. Another marvelous creation
