Suddenly realised there was a geocache right near our home!! Had to log the smiley face.
We just happened to be passing right by this cache so we stopped on a whim and daughter-in-law and I jumped out to make a quick find. I'm glad we did, as I discovered later that this cache, "An Elementary Challenge" and "Mailbox of Terror" are all owned by the same CO, thus I have found three cache types by gaz 'n' kab for another challenge. Thanks gaz 'n' kab for a fun and quick find, nice hide!
Another fairly quick look around had this one found. LS TNLN
Thanks for the great coordinates here gaz'n'kab

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Recently completing a stretch of work for the GC2018 Games. Time to get back to normal.
Visiting the area while Mrs Felix was in the nearby Marta Hospital for knee surgery.
Welll... How many more roundabouts does one have to negotiate between caches.

Accurate coordinates made for an easy find this Xmas Eve . Ziplock will need replacing as it’s completely useless in its current state, but we didn’t have any to hand...Merry Christmas and TFTC
After a DNF nearby (as it was missing, confirmed by the CO) AndyCol95, I and the gang headed over to this one.
We parked at the top of the hill and the GeoSister and I headed down to find it.
AndyCol95 and the muggle child stayed behind to play on the playground.
Phew a nice easy find!
We waited for the other 2 to catch up, waited for them to spot it and then got them to retrieve it.

I've been thinking of Kab for a few days so this seemed to be almost a necessity to come and find this one when I was in the area today. A couple of families with children up above playing and riding their bikes, but no where near GZ so all was good. Found the cache safe and well and happily signed the log. Thanks Gaz'n'Kab for the cache hide here that I found today. Cheers and happy caching!
Third fond for the day. Great spot and clever container. Log needs some love. Very damp and not much space left to write.
Loved it! Was wondered where it could be in the open, read the clue and suddenly there it is! TFTC
What a nice day to go Caching.. put a call out last week that i wanted to go. had JACS team respond.. so we organised a day and swapped the digits.. Organised a meeting spot to start the adventure.. finally getting to the same meeting place... we put our heads together and came up with an action plan. started solving one multi but as shops where still closed made it harder. so we changed our plan and jumped in the car and set off on our adventure to find caches. had a great day out thanks JACS team. You've Been Bear'd
Nice one, got this one in the dark but couldn't get the log book out for the life of me so I'll come back during the day and see if I can't get it out with some better light to see what I'm doing TFTC.

Geocaching day at Springfield area: 20 cache target with 5 Mysteries , a Multi and a Letterbox. Can we do it? With such a great team (2 RoddyCs, Joojoo57, Nadine1989 at the start, then joined shortly after by KerriMG, and after lunch Patrol14 and Sewrainbow join in), who says we can't do it!
We had lunch in the park while waiting for Patrol14 and Sewrainbow join us as planned. In the meantime, the cache just HAD to be found.
Log signed by all & replaced again. Found at 12.55pm on 28th July 2016. TFTC

Most of our caching of late has been from Brisbane north to the Sunshine Coast or west to Esk & surrounds so we decided a trip to more southern parts was called for.
Not too far south but far enough to add a few more sunny smiles to that section of our map.
This was out third for the day.
Parked close by GZ, strolled over & spotted the cache IPS (in plain sight).
A quick park & grab here today.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Nice hide, found while on a day out today, hoping to find a few caches. Nice park, no muggles around today TFTC
quick easy find - like use of the creative cache container may have to consider for future hides
Well, this one certainly took a lot more effort than it should have! Found the park easily enough, and thought I'd take a wander around it first. I'm quite impressed with the number of parks with play equipment around this area - though I suppose it's needed cos most of the house blocks aren't huge.
First made sure that nobody was watching from the verandahs of the units over the road. Then wandered down to GZ…. just then a guy in the next house starts to wander around on his front lawn, talking on the phone. I moved back to safer ground. He eventually went back, so I went in for the grab. Had found the cache ok but couldn't get the log out! Ok, back to the car again to grab the handy tweezers. Still couldn't get the log out! Managed to take the cache container out of where it was, and take it back to the car to attack more easily. Took a bit of work, but managed it. Have tried to make sure the plastic is folded properly, and that the log is quite close to the opening end, for the next person to find this.
Other than that it's all in good condition Gaz'n'Kab.

After a great week at the Mega off to stay with my Daughter so a chance to grab a few local caches before heading home to NZ
Lucky I had my tall sister in law with me, or I would have had no luck in reaching it! Made it just in time to beat the rain. TFTC!
I was in the area looking for a nearby challenge cache and thought it would be rude not to check out Kab's Kreation.
The car started off the day with a flat battery and I got going it with the old "reverse roll-start down the driveway" trick. The drive to Springfield (with a stop along the way) helped charge it up but I really did not want to push my luck so I wandered over to this one to save starting the engine, driving a couple of hundred meters and stopping again.
The cache was soon in hand. Thanks for the cache Gaz'n'Kab. Cheers!
Now where did I park that car? (No reverse roll start required this time)

Today we have traveled here to finally find "The Sine of a Puzzled mind" ( I solved it last night after 4 odd years), we are doing a few others in the area as a warm up to it. we walked over to this one and I was a little worried it would be tricky to find, though once the GPS stopped spinning and decided where wew should be I spotted it straight away. Shane made the grab and we were on our way. I felt like I was in a familiar place today, pretty sure there used to ba a cache in the park a little further along the path over yonder, Shrug, Found it and we are off to another! Jet the Geodog is also enjoying the constant in and out of the car for these park and grabs today.
By this stage (the fourth cache for this morning), the kids stayed in the car with dad whilst Granny & I quickly found this cache. Great clues, easy to find & we could have really used Dad for his height. Cheers, Mel & Granny.
No obvious muggles around but I was still kind of looking over my shoulder. I began by trying to charge into the shrubbery but spotted nothing. I bet the neighbours would love a sudden appearance by a man on their fenceline!
After studying my phone a bit better, I worked out the real GZ: d'oh. A quick grab and all was good here today: nice and dry. TFTC Kab!

After doing another Gaz'n Kab cache nearby, my daughter and I decided to do this one. The park was quiet late this afternoon. Following the hint, it was a nice easy find. Cool cache!
