Me tour of Banyo continued today,
in hiking boots,
not thongs
The previous DNF's didn't put me off searching,
and the cache was soon uncovered
All good with this one [^]
The new fence didn't affect the cache !!
The preform is still there,
within six inches of the new fence
So who archived it !! [:o]

Indeed it is a new fence - the whole area is unrecognisable now from what it was when it was an electrical substation completely of wooden electricity poles. No longer a viable Yobbo placement - stay tuned for a new Yobbo being born soon.

The goal for the day was to hit 100 caches
We started with the rose geoart, then worked out way through little areas of park and grabs on the way home! We made it although quite a few after dark! TFTC

Well, that was a bit of fun. We’d been looking for a few minutes, when the foreman of the building site came out to see if all was okay. Rather than tell a fib, we explained what we were up to and he was very curious. He told us of a friend who had gone geocaching in New Zealand for a week in order to find a particular geocache that had never been found before. He stayed with us until we had found the container and was very curious to see how it all worked.

No workers around made it much easier to locate! Right as the sun is setting, too. I must admit I was looking in the wrong place for a bit before ventalator spotted it! Last one needed to solve the mystery!! TFTC.
Quick park nearby before searching for this cache on a rather busy road...Lucky the fence sail was split as it allowed us to move it and locate the cache.
Had to drive my Daughter down to Brisbane Airport early this morning, So I thought I would take the long way home and try to find some caches along the way.
Nice little cache well done Pprime (P:)
This Day in History
Saturday, May 11, 1811. : The original Siamese Twins, Chang and Eng Bunker, are born.
Chang Bunker and Eng Bunker were the twin brothers whose condition and birthplace became the basis for the term Siamese twins, or conjoined twins. They were born on 11 May 1811 in Siam now Thailand, in the province of Samutsongkram. The Bunkers were joined at the sternum by a small piece of cartilage, and it has since been determined that they could have easily been separated, even with the limited surgical techniques of that time. Their livers were fused but independently complete.
In 1829, they were discovered in Siam by British merchant Robert Hunter and exhibited as a curiosity during a world tour. After their contract was fulfilled, they went into business for themselves. In 1839, while visiting Wilkesboro, North Carolina with P T Barnum, the twins were attracted to the town and settled there, becoming naturalised United States citizens, and adopting the surname of Bunker. On 13 April 1843 they married two sisters: Chang to Adelaide Yates and Eng to Sarah Anne Yates. Chang and his wife had ten children; Eng and his wife had twelve. The twins both died on 17 January 1874.

On a Yobbo day out - thought we may be thwarted by the works, but a quick look under the skirt meant all was okay.

We are taking the back streets back to our geo-beast on our geo-bikes so that we can pick up a few more geocaches. We remembered the excursion many years ago when we were back at school that brought us to the Cannery, who could forget the bubblers that didn’t contain water, they contained juice, this was the best thing ever.
Last night we went out for Thai in between ubering our muggle teens about and the waitress brought over the phenomenal cocktail menu but as we were designated drivers we could only dream of them so we ironically had pineapple juice and here we are right next to Golden Circle. They had jazzed it up for us and put on fancy slices of pineapple on the side to make us feel like it was a cocktail, but it wasn’t. We have a muggle daughter that needs to photo and post all her food so of course we took the p@#s out of her and sent a photo of our drinks to her while she was out to dinner with her friends.
We found the cache and added our name and took the clue before moving on, but not before we found the local pineapple seller…

Our second yobbo today, we pulled up in mcm726's car and made our way over. Thankfully by this stage the traffic seemed to be a little lighter at least, and as we wandered over to GZ I was even lucky enough to get to enjoy a little pork crackling he had in his lunch. Yummm. Crunching on that, I made the find and took note of the clue again.
Thanks for the cache Pprime (P`).

After the short drive. 1MinnieMoo and I got out of the car. At which point she stole some of my pork crackling from my lunch. It was like a kookaburra after a snag on the BBQ. LOL. After a short search the cache was in hand. Log signed and clue recorded. Then back to the car we went.
We decided to head out today to do the "Yobbo" series. Loved the various observations of yobbo lifestyle. We made a quick find with this one today and noted the clue. TNLNSL TFTC
Pulled up round the corner into an empty street. This small industrial area of Banyo is quite confusing. One street has no parking available with cars scattered everywhere. There isn't enough room to do a 3-point turn which becomes a 7-point turn (No reason to waste those points). The next street 100m further on has parking everywhere. It's clear the yobbo doesn't want to walk any further to work then they have to.
I did initially walk around GZ for a while trying to look cool (achieved!!). Nothing was appearing for me but I wasn't ready to give it away, I stuck with it. When there were cars going past I used my eyes to search. When the coast was clear I dug around a bit. Finally I saw the little demon and tried to grab it and walk away to sign it before I realised it was tethered in place. Oh no, I'm going to have to hunch down in place to get the clue and log out.
First part completed. I signed the log and noted the clue. I had to wait for a muggle (or yobbo?) to walk past but I sat on a fence post and had a conversation with my imaginary friend. The coast was clear and the log and clue were returned. tftc

Found at 4.00pm. Was initially worried that there were too many possible spots but then saw the cache. TFTC Pprime.
Today the three of us targeted this area so the teen could do some driving practice in a quieter urban area. We collected 9 before we were muggled out at the park, realising we would have to come back in the future the teen decided to call a stop to the days driving and we headed for home. All the clues were noted and hopefully we will be able to finish the series next week.

Some of these cache names puzzle me. Like this one. Along with the hint.
But it was a quick find.

This took me more searching than it should have... I blame slight delirium due to the heat. TFTC!
I spent a lovely hour yesterday morning finding 4 of the Ban Yobbo series, so I thought I might see if I could find the remaining caches today. It was really hot once again, but Monty the mini was up for the challenge and I was quite happy to drive around in the air conditioning.
This was cache#9 for the series and cache#5 for me today. First things first, I cannot believe it took me so long to find this one. I searched, poked, probed, prodded, hunted, all to no avail. There was one spot that I hadn't checked (it was getting harder to be surreptitious the longer I stayed in the area) and with a sigh and not feeling very hopeful, I had a peek...and there was the cache. Oh you *&$%@^ sneaky thing!!! How could I have not seen you! I quickly signed the log and started to head to the next cache - I was going to walk it wasn't far - when I realised I had forgotten to collect the clue information, arghhhhhhhh! [:(!] I was half way to the other cache, so I kept going, then came back to get the clue. How frustrating! My excuse was it was hot and I needed a drink. TFTC Pprime (P')

It's Australia Day so what better series to start than the Ban Yobbo series
Found a much better place to park this time and wondered over to the fence area, noting some men at "work" not far away with Energex generators and vehicles (the men were sitting in the shade on camping chairs - it is Australia Day after all lol)
This search was a little tricky and I saw nothing that looked likely on the first pass. I paused under the cool shade of the tree and saw from previous logs that coords were an issue here - maybe electricity playing funny buggers?!
Anyway, I abandoned the phone and used geo-senses, terrain rating and the clue and found the cache quickly, which I had first discounted as rubbish - it wasn't
I noticed on the way back to the car, the workers were still on their "smoko"

GPS was no help for this one. Cache was not what I was expecting either, but luckily my caching partner spotted it without too much difficulty. TFTC
Caching afternoon around Banyo after saying goodbye to Nadine1989 who has now returned home to Germany after a two-year stay in Australia. We are in the company of Nurseyjulie and Selva Girls,
Our last find for the day - there's a Christmas Event to attend over at Aspley. Thankfully a nice quick find.

It pays not to arrive at a cache location with a preconceived notion. Cache was not in the first two places I looked, but at the next effort there it was. A little hard to handle but we did manage to retrieve the log and sign it before replacing. Another good cache in this great series. Thanks for placing them all Pprime! [^][^]
Certainly getting through these Ban-Yobbo caches. Was a little tricky trying to get the log out but we succeeded. Thanks Pprime.
Was a bit of an overcast morning and I set out with Benny to try and knock over the last few caches i needed to get to three figures.
We stopped next to this one and spent way too long searching for it. Face palm ensued when we finally found it - log signed and replaced.
No# 98 for me.

1st find of the day out with wombles and co. This one we managed to snag quickly and without the nearby muggles on smoko seeing us. A nice quick find TFTC
Out caching with Rhobocacher picking up yobbos that were disabled last time we were here.

Replaced log, and container, and moved to a new (nearby) location. The hint will have to change, as it is now ON the fence.
Found the cache, suffering the effects of recent rain. No separate clue but documented last page of log. Tftc
Nice one to find on long weekend. Have driven past this cache so many times but too many muggles. This time it was muggle free. Im slowly gathering the clues to find banyobbo but clue was missing. Saw what I think is clue on back page of log book. I hope its what I need. Tftc.
How did we miss this first time around? thanks to the recent spoiler we had another go at this and found it straight away. TFTC
Went to do this one today but when j arrived it looked like an untidy homeless person was living at GZ. There was a doona, cigarettes and packets, batteries, clothes lying everywhere around there. Didn't want to start rummaging just incase it turned out to be something else. Will look again at a later date
