I really enjoyed this park with so much space and so much to do. There is even things to do besides Geocaching. The find took a few loops around, but eventually 'It Bit Me'. TFTC.
Day 14 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and we say farewell to Dunedin and head to Invercargill so the fellas can visit the motorcycle museums. Most of the morning was just driving the scenic route with intermittent rain, time constraints and some closures meaning we skipped quite a few caches. After we arrived and the fellas had their fill we toured around town and headed to Bluff for the afternoon until hunger and cold sent us back indoors. Found on our wander around the gardens - coords were spot on.Thanks for contributing to the fun
Kids had to look up a bit but found it no worries. Would recommend long sleeves to avoid spiky leaves.
I started geocaching in Canada in 2008 and the majority of my finds have been over there. This turns out to be my 1000th find in New Zealand. Thanks for the many memories and a fav point given
Finishing outer walk through Queens Park and had to stop. The Ostrich didnt come any closer but llamas were having a grand ole time!! tFTC
A little hunt around but found it. A little damp but good hide. No one was bitten in the finding of this cache TFTC
This was a quick we find which was lucky because the boys wanted to spend more time with the animals... T.G.I.F
TFTC. I have no pen with me, sorry. Love the ostrich next to the cache. The first time in my life to see it. Impressive
Came to look at the ostrich and realized there was a cache nearby. Big T spotted it first. TFTH!
Managed to be neither bit nor scratched - but did manage to sign the recently replaced log. Thanks for looking after this cache.
Having never been to Invercargill before we have decided to come and stay a few days. Lovely weather today helped make our walks around Queens Park a great introduction for us. Cache is all good. TFTC
We are in Invercargill for just one day before heading to Stewart Island with friends and family tomorrow so we grabbed a cheap rental and hit the adlabs and any trads we found along the way. Great weather and lots of fun exploring Invercargill today. Thanks to all the COs.Mrs NZT took off in one direction while Mr NZT headed in another. Luckily the tree wasnt biting today and it was a quick find. TFTC!
Ive come to Invercargill to watch the Burt Munroe challange and spend sone time with my son. My son brought me to this park to walk his beagles and show me round the park. I especially loved the stump garden. I discovered there was a cache hidden here and naturally had to hunt for it and it wasnt too long before we found its hiding place. Mystery at the museum, the voodoo tramp and Marks frog visited this cache.
Still have to work on my knowledge of NZ flora names. Was confused at first but eventually found it, tftc!
Day 3 in Windvercargill today on foot exploring Queens Park and the CBD grabbing caches and Adventure Labs.Found the cache and signed the log. Many thanks for placing and maintaining this cache!
The three of us together ?? found this in lovely Invercargill which has been home for [Cle] for almost half a year and will be for another half a year. We enjoyed Queens Park a lot. -- TFTC
A few days in Invercargill with P&Vee and hubbies, took time to go on a geocache hunt. Tftc
I found the geocache after searching around a few totara. It contained a plastic bag and no log so I added a new log slip (on waterproof paper) and signed my name. TFTC
I couldn’t see any sign of the old log on the ground.

Not sure what for and where the previous cacher was actually looking but be assured the cache is as it should be.
