Wonderful walk along the beach with da Bush Family today. Awesome views, thanks! Even if no cacheFrom the time I prepared my target caches list and arriving in Caloundra a few weeks later, it seems this awesome cache came to an unfortunate end. I gave it a look anyway but I wasn't expecting it to be here. But I can imagine what the hide would have been from the nearby construction materials - wow, that would have been awesome! Oh well, maybe next time.

It's sad to say that after nearly 12 years and 144 favourite points, this one has gone missing once again, and I will not be replacing it again!! ????Unfortunately some cachers do not know how to be stealthy nor when to walk away and come back later to collect their find, because someone is sitting admiring the view.If anyone is anywhere near your GZ, keep walking and don't give away the hide, like so many do!!Happy cachingCherrs Wesso

Back again tonight with bunadoorian- looking all around, under and over. This one has us beaten. I even enjoyed a walk along the rocks tonight. TFTC and for bringing us here Wesso Family.

Well Grub62 and I have been here 3 times now. The first time it was too busy so we tried a couple of times in the dark. Even then we had to watch out for muggles. We checked everything we could think of and even had a hint from the CO but this one still has us beaten. Oh well the views are magnificent. Thanks for bringing us here.

Well bunadoorian and I have been here twice today. The first time there were so many muggles but we had what we thought was a good look. Tonight with torches we went back and had the place basically to ourselves. Again we had what we thought was a really good look but to no prize. Another night we will try again. We did enjoy watching the waves tonight and also looking up at the stars.

No luck today, good period of time spent jumping up and down between muggles too, have to come back for this one!

A very clever hide that took a minute to track down. TFTC!

Took a while to find this one. Had to time searches between passing muggles. Looked in all the regular hiding places multiple times with no success, even lifted the lid in one part and thought I was super clever only to be met with nothing. Looked up, left, right and then finally down when I spotted something, that whilst blending in well didn't quite seem to fit with the surrounds, but interestingly fit just right with the hiders account. With a realisation that x doesn't always mark the sort, a break in the traffic,a quick duck and reach, I finally had the cache in hand.

Couldn't find it, not sure if the heavy rain on Sunday might have moved it.

Glanced past this a few times before exhausting other possibilities and deciding to give it a goshould have gone with my first instincts! Came late in the day to avoid the likelihood of resting muggles and had Mrs and Ms LegoLads calling clear times between walkers/joggers to conduct the search. Worth a FP for the hide and beautiful location.

Took a while to find this tricky hide.Bad timing with the weather but good to get away.As previous cachers have noted this is a busy path and stealth is definitely required.Once I locate the hide signing duties on the new log sheet were completed and cache returned to its position.Good work with this one and its a hide in plain sight.

Probably the last cache in Australia for a very long time. It probably took a while, but Mini-PLOMM is tough. Easy find

After attending this afternoon's CITO on North Bribie Island, and completing the 5 x A/Ls around Caloundra, this cache was found along the way...Very windy today and plenty of muggles about, Mrs poolpool used her yoga skills to make the find, looks like the container has changed over the years TFTC wesso family, another FP added to the long well deserved list !!!

Found after a few minutes, didn’t have a pen to sign so here is a photo as proof. Tftc

Found after quite a bit of crouching down and taking one shoe off and pretending to bang out the sand and dust sand off my pants etc. (to avoid the gaze of curious muggles)! Hubby waited in car. He eventually got fed up waiting and came to find me. By the time he walked up, I’d phoned a friend and asked for a PAF (thanks Brissy Cat) - simply because I’d anticipated my semi-muggle hubby would get impatient soon and I didn’t want to log a DNF. So whilst I could have found it without assistance with some more perseverance, hubby didn’t have the same patience and now we won’t get home til 6:05pm (maybe later, given the traffic on Caloundra Road). Then the grocery shopping still needs to be done for dinner ingredients and cooking. At least I found it!

On another note, hasn’t this section between Bulcock Beach and Kings Beach changed SO much since the ocean broke through Bribie Island, connecting the ocean to Pumicestone Passage?! I have attached a picture of a nearby sign/map showing what it used to look like. TFTC.

Found it after an extensive look and yoga type manoeuvres.

Made a return visit here today with my brother and sis-in-law. We found the original container in 2017 and wanted to revisit.
This time, it involved me lying on my back like a grease monkey, and getting funny looks from passers by. LOL

Today Peppa and I are on our way to the Sunshine Coast to attend the event planned for today but have started early to grab caches before and after.

Arrived at gz after our meet up with the Canadian and tried to search inconspicuously with the passing parade is walkers. Had to PAF for help on locating it and then wondered why we didn't find it straight away in the first place. Great location and lucky l lovely view.

A day trip up from the Gold Coast mainly to attend an event and, of course, find a few local caches before heading back.
Was in the company of a previous finder who thought the cache was missing. We insisted on checking out the whole area and, soon enough, found the new hiding place.

Thanks wesso family for bringing us to this beautiful location, its such a pleasure to use this walkway and have a rest here.

Beautiful view for a cache this morning!

I’ve passed this beautiful spot a few times this week but today I was determined to get this one despite the busy path. I stopped and waited for some breaks in the constant flow of muggles. It took about 8 breaks and some burpee like manoeuvres before I finally spotted it.
Thanks for the cache wesso family, the challenge here was finding it without looking like a crazy person.

Yes, I found it with an extra clue from the CO.
Am sure I had looked at it, but it's colour blended in with the surroundings.
All is good with cache, signed and replaced in secure position.

Found this morning while out walking with my muggle sisters. Found on the grass with no logbook in sight. Messaged CO about replacing the logbook and got the green light. After a brief chat with the CO, it is back where it should be.

After the nearby virtual and earthcache I came by here to the King's view, and it certainly does live up to the name! Plenty of muggles around, but I was pleased to find the seat unoccupied. Plenty of gaps in the muggle traffic too, so I was able to have some opportunities to have a look under the seating, where my prize was well tucked away. Thanks for bringing me here wesso family!

I have recently added two new Adventure Labs in the NT with the theme based on the Royals, just had to go check this cache out. Absolutely did not disappoint. I can see how it has earned 141 favourites, it was a fun find. Out with family a great night out. TFTC happy caching 2023.

Dropped the wife off at a colleagues place in Caloundra and could see the top of the lighthouse from there - so what must I do.... Go find the cache of course.
Okay, parked the car close and walked to where I thought this might be. Lots of muggles walking past, and just as many on the beach today. Okay, will have to time this right.
Down and looked a coupe of times before getting back up with the find.

We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth.

Day 16 – While staying with family in Morayfield we decided to go for a drive to the Glasshouse mountains and Caloundra. Some lovely views and lots of happy snaps were taken today.

No problems with this one.

The kids loved this one. We relied on previous clues. Looked up, down, here and there. We forgot our pen. Got photo instead.
