Tftc - took a while along with two visits. Checked a dot away from listed GZ and found it not where I expected
Quick find just off the track. Returned to the main track with a muggle and her muggle dog nearby. TFTC!
One of the first caches my friend and I found on a spontaneous last minute geocache
Having found this I have no idea how we missed it a year ago! Geokid went straight to it. Beautiful spot to stop despite the technology looming overhead. A nice, easy and pleasant find. Thanks for the cache!
What an awesome location.
I arrived at just the right time, just on sunset it was beautiful.
This is my 3rd for the afternoon (2xGC, 1xGCA) had to end it here as the light is fading fast and I have a long walk back to the car.

I couldn't find the remains in the glad bag. If anyone finds the remains please place in the new cache which has been replaced and hidden in its original location. Please try and put cache back exactly as found. It will be less likely to be muggled that way.
Contents of cache and log book (which is a little damp) are there, but no container. I have put them in a glad bag. Hopefully they will be OK till a new container can be put in place
Mr T and I headed off for a walk to see if we could find this one today. Couldn't find cache where co-ords said. Mr T headed down under the cliff and looked down there. He couldn't find a container, but the contents were in a pile under the ledge. He brought them up to me. The log book was there although a little damp. I found an old glad bag in my pack, so put the log and a few of the knick knacks remaining in the bag, and Mr T put them back under the cliff. Hope this helps till a new container is added.
maybe my gps had issues with the rocks or the powerline's but we found the cache a bit further than we anticipated. we hunted around our gz for a fair while before resorting to reading past logs which gave us a few clues. Ian and I clambered down for another looksee in a different area while Penny waited for our positive call of "found it" Ian eventually came up with the prize in a place he had previously searched - not thoroughly enough first time round obviously the ladies commented quietly...
I enjoyed checking out the view here too, the clouds were breaking up and Ian insisted on a tourist shot which I wont bother sharing here. great area for a cache Bisygisy.
cheers

Hi there bisygisy. We found your cache "Surge of Power" at 11:10:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11860.
[Blue]
Today we joined up with Blissbaby for a fantastic day of caching, & as she knows the area much better than us she suggested our route. The day started off with a fine drizzle on the mountain but this cleared to a mainly fine but overcast day. We ended up logging 13 caches (and DNFing 0).
We searched around GZ for simply ages without success, then we decided to be a little more adventurous & eventually spotted the elusive cache when Ian eyeballed the location for the third time. We awarded this cache a favourite point for the adventure and its cunning hide.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 12m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Spent ages climbing around this beautiful spot but no luck. Enjoyable search though-we will be back!
Good, sneaky hiding spot! nice rocks and caves. Found with Jimmy and Joni. TFTC bisygisy!
After escaping from the Fortress of Solitude relatively intact, I stumbled upon this cache on my radar.
No buzzing at gz today. one issue though was that the coordinates led me to a spot further away from the ravine than where I eventually found it. Hints of playing in the caves led me true to the correct hiding spot.
Thanks for the cache.

Found it. Beautiful location. Kids had a blast playing in the surrounding caves. Thank you for an awesome find.
A quick walk down the path after grabbing Fortress of Solitude. Made the find quickly and continued down the path. TFTC.
The Sun was shining, the birds were chirping and with a bright blue sky there was no excuse to head out with WhiteMushroom and Yttam and nab a few caches!

Awesome for me $PoopaTroopa$ and a friend named Kyuss we did not have wifi or anything so we weren't lost but we did not know where to go so at first we saw a bike track which is Cool then we looked around and we saw what was in the description and it said something like Awesome view and we found the view and it looked like faulco point so we looked around and saw the magicical geocache, I know what surge of power is meant to mean! A return from a DNF on bikerbuddy's nearby cache, and the firetrail was tempting to say the least. An easy walk in a winter's sunshine to the power tower, a look at the Garmin indicating a missed turnoff, a direct line taken to the GZ lookout ... hmmm, I seemed to be 'over there' not long before ... and a quick and successful seek. TFTC
Great view

This was actually my first cache...found it with Dad and Brother Lachnic62 many months ago.
Our very first. This is the beginning of a great deal of fun for my kids and I. And in our own street.
Heading off to Arbors Above, I side tracked to this cache. It was an easy find. Thanks bisygisy, great views.
I needed an after work caching fix and this firetrail in springwood seemed the most fun. When I looked down into the creek from the lookout near GZ it made me glad to live in the mountains but sad there was not enough daylight to really explore the area. tnlnsl. Thanks for the hide bisygisy.
Parking almost on top of this one, I admired the views before making the easy find, something strange about this place, could not help the feeling I was being watched and judged.... A most unsettling feeling.
Took the hard way into the look out but an easy find once I got there. Great view, and that sure is a long span of wire without a pylon! Thanks for the cache.
A nice easy walk to a great view. Soon had the cache in hand. thanks for bringing us here.
Nice peaceful walk out to GZ this morning to a very cool lookout. Cache container found in good nick, maybe a little light on goodies though .
Thanks bisygisy
Thanks bisygisy
As seems to be the standard, attempted this as part of the three along the general ridge line. Stellar views and a nice little hide. TFTC.
Returning to the fire trail after visiting the nearby Fortress we made the short stroll in the warming day to the next target. Looks like a bit of an unofficial BMX course hereabouts, certainly a bit of effort has been put into some of the obstacles. Reaching GZ we were upon another nice rock platform with similar views to the previous cache, albeit a tad closer to the power lines. Nice spot. Picked up the "NationalSteel on a Journey to Jackson" TB.
Parked at the start of the trail to make a quick walk to GZ where the cache was found quickly. Nice hide and nice views. TNLN SL TFTC.
#1,069 and day 110 (100 days + GST ).
I actually got home before dark, collected my kidlets & suggested a nice little stroll through the bush for a local cache today. We like local caches, for local cachers .
One child had my GPS and another had my iPhone. I walked on ahead and had to be called back by the two of them when I went too far. We had to wait at GZ for a little bit, as a muggle was sitting there enjoying the view. And possibly the peace & quiet - he left once he realised he was sharing the space with 3 young children . After he left, we made a quick find & soon had the cache out and the log signed.
Thanks bisgisy . I left a TB in the cache.

Two hours of free time and a full tank of petrol . . . so off I went down the Great Western Highway!
Entering a wrong digit off the end of Davies Avenue in Faulconbridge didn't help at first, and I almost ended up in serious 'Fortress of Solitude' territory, banging my knee in the process.
However, I noticed the 'Power Above' and this put me right, allowing a quick and easy find in a place with a very nice view, not far from the fire trail.
All was in good order with the geocache and the published coordinates were accurate.
Took the 'shell' TB for transport up to Leura. LNSL.
Many thanks to bisygisy for another Blue Mountains geocache!

This was back to a familiar spot for me in the late afternoon. I'd explored around here when looking for a place for one of my caches. I was checking in a spot I would have put the cache when the WaywardWoman, who is far more sensible and better looking than me, found it.
Another day in the streak, also, which I still haven't managed to finish, since those around me have still been completing their one hundred days. Day 112, and limping aong. Thanks

Due to a change of plan I had the afternoon free and well what else could I do but look for a couple caches.
Surprisingly this still had not been found since Team Canary FTF 2 days ago. I was fully expecting to run into pjmpjm but he was tied up at home as I found out later.
No problem getting to GZ after a nice walk from Springwood Station. The hiding spot was soon apparent and the cache retrieved, log signed and everything returned to its proper place.
Thanks for a nice cache in a lovely location, the view is amazing only slightly spoiled by the power line.

#1420 and Day 98- I'm very thankful that this and another one by our friends, bisygisy and azazzlenic came up in the past few days. It has made the trip to the end, sooooo much easier. After work, bikerbuddy and I strolled down to this pretty spot with great views. It reminded me of a spot up near Eurama at Faulconbridge which we had looked at several times before- even with the same power theme. I know know that I should make Thursday! Next two days are planned. Thanks for a good little spot and a bigger than expected cache there.
FTF!
After a lovely walk past a bike track where the local kids have spent many, many hours.
At GZ it was quick find, but the views are fantastic. The echoes even better!
