A DNF for me too... Found a rock and a small hole where it looks like it was, may need to be checked out.
First DNF for the day had a good look but not keen to dig too deep. We will be back after checking with owner.
2013-08-31 0244 Found with Plofessor. Cache was very exposed, so I covered it up once Plofessor and I had signed the log. Took zip, left zip. This was the first on a Kaleen excursion, where the weather just got better and better. Tks DRT!
A very windy day today...found parked close by and no one around at all. Quickly logged the find and moved on. TFTC
Nice easy grab after dinner tonight at the nearby Lime Thai Restaurant. Lovely food in the suburbs around here. There was no log book on-site, so I have dropped of a makeshift logbook for now. TFTC
Found after dropping kid off to soccer training, love the local cache that's easily grabbed
Checked in on this one as I came past to get some lunch at the nearby shops on my big bike adventure
Last cache for the day. Nice and easy find for the geokids. We decided to drop off our latest trackable "Buzzy". Let's hope it will fly fast and far.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Many thanks to Doppelfrog for removing the SHARPS container.
Cache is all good again
Cache is all good again
Out on a boys night of beer, pizza and caching! I had finished my day off work caching with 39 finds and so I thought that getting 11 more after dinner would be fun. This series helped me achieve that "objective" ha ha!
I will be in the area on the weekend hopefully so I might go check on the cache and I will also call the Rangers to get someone out to remove the Sharps box... for this reason I will remove the geocache until the sharps are gone as to keep cachers safe and to avoid having the cache it self removed to.
I'm pleased the sharps-box sitting on top of the cache wasn't it. TFTC.

Out on a post-beer and pizza caching evening with Jmanjezzza, Noikmeister and GeoJunkies.
Probably no need to offline this one. The Sharps container was unused (although did contain some needles, also unused and still sealed)
I disposed of the non-cache container in a nearby rubbish bin and went on to sign the cache log. All good!

Found with Dopplefrog, JmanJezza and Noikmeister while on a boys beer, dinner and caching night out.
Upon arriving at GZ I saw a sharps container right where we expected the cache to be. Thinking for a moment that the cache could potentially contain some hazardous swaps, we proceeded with caution using a pen to open the container and check the contents. To our relief the needles were in sealed packets and had not been used. Then we noted the actual cache container right under where the sharps container was.
Dopplefrog disposed of the sharps container at the local petrol station.

Sunday 7 July 2013 - a beautiful mild winter's day with the sun continuously dodging in and out of the clouds. Happy 58th B'day big sister. Quick and east find. TFTC.
292. It was lunch time at the nearby school as I approached GZ, so had to be sneaky. At GZ I thought "Oh no, not this" as I saw a yellow Sharps container right on the cache!! Thankfully the sharps container wasn't the cache and I kicked it aside and made the proper find in no time!

Headed down to Canberra with Hoojar today, we grabbed a plethora of caches of which this was one of them. The cold weather of Canberra took us a little by surprise so we made sure we were constantly on the move.
This was good reminder of the phonetic alphabet.
Apologies for the duplicate logs. It shouldn't detract from the fun we had finding these caches.
Thanks

Found on a Canberra Caching Spree with The Rats. The weather was cold and grey, the weatherman lied when he predicted 17 degrees and sunny. The thermometer only push over 10 degrees for about five minutes!
As a Scout Leader I always enjoy finding out where others meet.
Cheers

Came past today to check on this one... Cache is still there but I will raise the D Level as the shrubs that use to shield the GZ from view are gone.
Thanks for featuring your scout hall. You guys must be really looking forward to the rebuild. Stopped by on the way to pick up scouts from Gang Show practice so it seemed fitting to come here today. A quick search and grab, moved away and sat down to enjoy making the mark and then off. Last time I was here was for a combined Majura/Diamantina Joeys night and the fire ants were biting. All quiet here this afternoon.
Thanks Delta Response Team, love the Objective series, this our second (I think).
Cheers

would have been an easier nab if i hadn't done this in the dark and without a gps, grr! thanking Shoobees for her patience as she waited for me in the car (she'd done this one before and pointed in the bunch of trees it was hiding near)
#322 - 19:40; Following a quick find for 'Wood Borer' (GC24J90) this one popped up as next nearest. Now on a roll and building the PB, despite the closing darkness, made a rapid find, although had to retreat to the Geomobile to complete the log. Cache returned safely to its hide and I was underway to see if there were any more easy pickings on the way home. TFTC DRT
We were over this side of town again, and there was time for a few finds after the day's proceedings finished. Thanks Delta Response Team.
Down from Sydney on business. Met Rapidlywild at Coffeecache earlier and teamed up to do some caches. Parked in the scout's car park area and thankful that there was no meeting in progress. RW made the find whilst I was looking elsewhere. Nice park and bike path. Wish we had more bike paths in Sydney. Thanks to RW for finding the cache and thanks DRT for another cache to find whilst down in Canberra. Cheers. RMS.
Found while on a run out this way. A nice quick find. The nearby hairdressers suits us cachers - it's called Acacia hair! TNLNSL. TFTC Delta Responce Team!
Found on the way home today. A busy area with muggles coming and going all over the place. Managed to grab the cache and put it away without being seen. TFTC Delta Response Team
Quick find late at night so no muggle s anywhere. Cute container. Still on target for one cache a day for January - to beat our pitiful 2012 effort. I see the hall has been demolished since I was last here - wonder if anything will replace it? TFTC
Found it really easily and no muggles in sight on this boiling hot day. Took army man, left duck lol . Thanks for the cache!
Found @ 11:39am, the 2nd of the 6 caches I needed to find to reach 400 for 2012.
A quick find of a larger cache than I was expecting to find, thanks Delta Responce Team

This was the last find for us on a super big day of caching – in most cases I found in a day yet! A big day but exhausting…
We were in the area feeding a client, decided to stop and collect as we were driving straight past.

It turned out to be a rare hot day for us in Canberra today, but our days living here are numbered, so we were determined to get a few more smiley faces on our map. This was a quick find for us - the cache was quite exposed so we covered it up a bit better. TNLNSL TFTC
There was really only one place that a small cache could be, and with a little bit of digging, there it was!
Thanks Delta Responce Team!

A nice easy find on our caching outing - and took the opportunity to grab a quick snack to keep us going. TFTC.

Out Today with Tealby for a moring of caching around Belconnen ,on afar better day than yesterday. I think this means I've completed the whole series now found quickly towards the end of our days caching just a couple more perhaps.

We once had our end of season, soccer knees-up at this scout hall; I didnt realise it was gone. Glad to hear they are rebuilding.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

I used to go to this Scout hall as well. I had no idea it had burnt down. Thanks for the cache!
5007 + 572 = 5579. Found in some spare time this afternoon waiting for a kids birthday party to end...
Waiting for the nearby Bowling Birthday Party to finish, so I had some time for a couple of caches. I decided to find the last (so far) of this series which I hadn't grabbed. Parked nearby and walked over for a quick find. I hope this one remains well covered so it doesn't get muggled ! Thanks again DRT - looking forward to Golf, Hotel, India, Juliet etc !!!!
TNLN - TFTC !!

I must have missed the fire, and was a bit surprised to see nothing here. Oh well, the cache was a bonus. Thanks.

Quick find on the way home from work before dark. Thanks DRT for the hunt. Glad to see that has been some progress on the scout hall. I wonder how long it will be before it is finished.
4th in this series today.....interesting container. I haven't seen one like that before.
No-one around the GZ area so it was quick find, log sign and then off towards home.
Thanks again DRT.

Had to go to Belconnen today and thought hey Kaleen isnt that far out of the way. Lets go on the way. So rode the bike to gz and found it quickly as it wasnt covered. Not going to last long like that. Covered it up and off to Belconnen via another cache TFTC
Grabbed the kids from school today and grabbed this cache on the way home. I helped to build the old scout hall as a scout and venturer so it was a really sad day when the arson attack happened. Thankfully we are on our way to re-building and I also have the knowledge that those responsible have paid the price. TFTC
1180. A nice quick find on a quiet afternoon. It was also nice to read jusojara's log re the location and events. Thanks DRT for the cache.
Its great of have a new series to take us around the Northside of Canberra. We had driven past here when the FTF rush was on but decided we would be better off saving this for our cache a day streak. We parked near GZ and narrowed in on the cache. An easy find, signed log and returned. Thanks DRT for the cache.
