Logs
Found it - 2nd time lucky . Read the comments as the GPS coordinates are well off . Someone has out the correct coordinates in use these
Nice walk in a new place. If youre about to log a DNF, see Angelic_Kiwis helpful log!
Thanks to previous logger angelic-kiwi who put accurate coordinates, I was able to find easily. I wonder why the CO never updated it with accurate info?
Couldn't find it after searching all around the cliff and tree trunks. I wonder if it got covered by a land slide.
Found with the help of Simon Sunday's log (and others). I'll repost from his log here so others don't have to scroll back through 5 years of logs to find it. More accurate information for this cache is:
Coordinates: S 43°37.938 E 172°39.084
Difficulty: 1,5
Terrain: 2-2,5
Size: S
Hint: ffilC-kcoR tA kcoR dniheB
Dangerous area: Rocks can fall down the cliff
With this information it was a nice easy find on an enjoyable walk around the coast. Thanks!

Found today when out on a walk on a beautiful autumnal day with grandkids. Cache almost 50m from coordinates towards Governors Bay. Could be my phone or those listed. Anyway, nice to grab this one. Logs a little damp. Tftc
Loved our walk along here. Visited here years ago before I started caching, so nice to come back with a purpose. Tftc
While walking on this track I decided to find this geocache. it was a quick find and a good spot. TFTC
Found with Trifolia Argentea on a lovely little walk by the bay, this new year's afternoon! TFTC!
Found it... after a while.
Definitely off the track 50m from the marked location. Look for the cut pines above the rocks.

A bit of a slip has come down near the hiding place so we thought it might be buried. But as per previous coordinates in a log, found it! Tftc
Surprised that KR found it on the way home from work; must have had a dot day! All good here thanks to the hint. Sunny afternoon walk from Alandale after last night's brilliant thunderstorm. The jetty is looking wrecked. Tftc
A quick find using the alternate coordinates supplied by previous finder. The lid is broken but cache is very dry in its hide. Nice walk along from Allanvale. One dnf on a puzzle along the way. Thanks for placing a cache. Enjoyed the walk.

Read the other logs to help us and soon the cache was in our hands. TFTC
Waiting to hear the “locations of interest” for the latest Delta outbreak and wondering if this Head to Head walkway will be getting a whole lot busier in the next wee while. Thanks for bringing me to this idyllic spot.
Came looking for the geopark but settled for a couple of geocaches. A lovely day for a walk from Allandale to Governor's Bay. Mr7 insisted on climbing the nearby stairs to nowhere while mr11 proved his cache sense. We followed the alternative co-ordinates and the hint for an easy find. Re-hidden in the same spot but with a bit more camouflage. The rock formations just round the corner were even more interesting. Next stop Governor's Bay for refreshments. Tftc
Out enjoying the lovely Allandale Governors walkway. Looked for ages at GZ then clicked oops put in way point from Kiwi Moose log to try. Went there and found cache straight away. Thanks for the cache lucyj.
As mentioned not where the map says, but along the eroded wall under the cut down pines.
Our first find!
Our first find!
I could have continued around the waterfront from my last find to grab this one but decided to drive a bit closer and park at the end of Church Lane. The location was really nice and having read the cache page I was excited to find it. Unfortunately where my GPSr was pointing was no where near any big pine trees and with no other hint I poked and prodded a few areas but just could not find the cache.
A lovely area to visit only sorry I couldn't find the cache.

Thanks. As per all other comments don’t rely on coordinates. Easy find though. Tftc.
Found after quite a bit of searching. Pretty sure we disturbed another cacher. If that was you with your wee son, FOUND IT!!
Simon Sunday is spot on with his coords so trust them. Glad no climbing was involved as the rocks look pretty fragile here. The trees are now gone but stumps and roots still on the skyline. The cache is still all dry. TFTH
Don’t go by the co-ordinates. Just think where you would hide it in this general area
Tftc. Follow the activity clues. Nit me posted location. Bix smashed but contents all ok.
We used the coordinates supplied by other cachers given the warnings that the coordinates are way off. With the alternative coordinates it was quite a quick find. The sistema is cracked but nonetheless manages to stay dry. TFTC
This is one where the geocacher”s “now where would I hide it?” is more helpful than anything. TFTC
Coords were way off but the hint led us to the find. Lovely area for a walk TFTC. I have put the coords I found them at in the photo as current location
Another find (coordinates seemed a bit out on this?). Easy find with the clue though.
Had a blast with friends were about to go home when a local friend/geocacher gave as a tip
Found thanks to the clue and some helpful comments! Wouldn’t have found otherwise!
Nice hide, lovely spot, not at co-ords.
Read the clue to get on track
Travel Bug dropped.

Got a day pass so went out and about with Surevybase for another crack at some caches out around the bays. Had a few laughs and more than a few scrambles and generally a good time. Thanks to all the CO's for their time in placing these caches. Sorry about the cut and paste. TFTC.

After 20 minutes of trying everything, 3 of us gave up and decided to cut the loss, I think it's time to have its location re-calibrated. I'll be back again if it gets checked out
Like the others say, head for S 43 37.940 E 172 39.084 and you should have a lot more luck. Nicely hidden in a wee nook, took a bit of searching as there are quite a few nooks! Cheers
Caching day with the whanau, dragging the boys along also as we do not get many opportunities nowadays to cache as a team. The ambivalent morning turned into a nice mostly sunny day, and we managed to get to a few! TFTC!!

Yay!! A scheduled geocaching day off motherhood for me, a day of daddy bonding for hubby (Though baby is always so well behaved for him that it's totally not fair!!! ), and so mum & I were off to go find as much as time would allow!! (But mum thought it was a good idea to bring the boys also!! So it ended up being as much as time & the boys would allow before they started complaining too much about the fact that we were caching... ended up with 38 though if my calculations are right - and quite a few high T - so not too bad.
We signed all the logs as Team Polak for simplicity sake, and time sake, and save the trees sake. (Though neither of the two of us who will actually log these are Polaks anymore anway!
Took a walk here. Very very muddy - eventually found it using the other coords - S 43 37.940 E 172 39.084

Exploring with johgusta. Still needing maintenance, but sweet spot. Also the indicator trees are much shorter now...

Found with StreetWalker on a trip over the hill to look for a few solved puzzles, plus any trads that popped up as well.
A very pleasant waterfront wander - but only after we had first negotiated the muddy section. Luckily I had done some prior research and had noted the co-ords posted in an earlier log (S 43 37.940 E 172 39.084). These were spot on and SW soon espied a possible hidey hole. Container not in great condition, as the lid has cracked.
Unfortunately the guardians are now stumpified. TFTC.

#14085. We had to wade through long grass to get to GZ; luckily there was a track of sorts to follow. It didn't take long to spot a covering object. TFTC.
Second time this month trying to find this cache, but no luck. We used the coordinates from the logs, but no luck.
Love this walk! Coordinates out but looked at the hint and a relatively easy find from there. Thanks for the cache!
Check previous comments still under big pines but they now cut down but can see where they were
After our 2014 DNF we read the logs of people who had found and used a different set of coordinates as suggested in their log. A good location and an easy find with the new coordinates ... a shame that the CO does not update as the GC is MANY metres from those published.
We're back, and this time I read over previous logs and so was prepared for coordinates being out and not where we looked before back at the very end of 2014. Found just in time. The rain started just as we were walking away from the cache. The poor container has seen better days. The log book is now a mini post it note pad, which will do for now but is not 100% dry. Glad to have a smilie on this one.
Sunday evening stroll TFTC:-) thanks for prior hints from others as coordinates well out. Normally I don't worry about rocky faces, but must say I did think twice. Still I kept foraging!!
Had to resort to clue and other logs, the co-ords are way off! The cache could do with a bit of TLC also. Had a lovely walk and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. Some interesting geology in the rocks en route. Wish I knew more, it's asking for an earthcache. TFTC
Found with clue and other logs.
50m off co ords so suggest an edit of last digits. to .939 and .082. Thanks

Hmmm there's been a LOT of felling right about where the hint would have us look. This one might have been destroyed by "ttiiiiimbbbeeerrr".
I used the coordinates mentioned in an earlier log as the posted coordinates were quite a bit out. The hint also helped. After that it was a fairly easy find. Tftc.
We searched for it as the hint said, but nothing was found. It would help to check and change coordinates, for all the cachers coming here.
Thanks
