Looked in all the right places with Geopossum and Jezza_theGeokid - no luck. Will be back if there's a confirmed find!
Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Came from Games we play. What a nice way to cheer up this building. Our Airbnb was overlooking this part of the hill and I had this one on the list to find this cache immediately. TFTC

Made some repairs to this one, new container, log and zip log bag ... BEAUT location
Staying nearby for shopping, went on a damp early stroll and able to see the big picture this time relying less on the gps, tftc icp.
On my way up to castle hill I stopped here to have a rest, looking for the cache.
Thanks for the cache with a great view.
Thanks for the cache with a great view.
What a beautiful spot to come to at night. A lovely break from my hotel room. Clear sky, dog barking in the background and spectacular views over Townsville. Magical! While Molly (the TB) has kept me company on this work trip, including to a fantastic meeting to see coral and fish, it was time to part ways and leave her in a new 'stable'. Safe travels and thanks for the cache
When all seems hopeless sit down in the shade and you will almost put your hand on it! TNLN TFTC half way to the next one!
Finally got around to logging this one.
Great views and a picture I have looked at many times.

Second go, found it after 10mins, nice views from here, TNLN, many thanks for the cache )
Frullet Jr. came up with the find. Great views of the city. Thanks for bringing me here:-)
On a bit of a mission today and started early in the morning at this interesting location as the city woke up. Located a couple of likely spots but just not seeing the big picture!
Out and about today, moping up some of the last of the Townsville caches that I need to find.
Nice artwork on the tanks. Should be more of it.
Log signed. Took and left nothing. The cache container and log were found to be in good condition.
Finding this cache has now given me a total find count of 1422 .

Quite easy and the description says the view is nice. So better approach from the top.
A way point would be useful here as you need to access from southwest not northeast
Fast png. Will take the Bananas TB north to LA or Seattle where it can catch a flight to Manilla. TFTC!
Was out walking and thought I'ld climb up and get myself a cache in Townsville and check out the awesome views. I wasn't dissappointed. What a great spot for a lookout and to view the arts. TFTC Insane. LS. Left a TB to head further north on its journey.
Found at 2.43pm. I really appreciate caches like this because I had never been here and indeed the view is great! TFTC.
Spotted Sydney the Koala. Left in cache.
Dropped off (1) Lapu-Lapu geocoin and (2) Dobby.

Great way to spend New Years Day 2015. Cache in good condition & Sydney the Koala trackable still in situ (didn't take).
Out and about again today driving around Townsville looking for a cache or two.
I soon found myself over looking Townsville with a big parrot which was over looking my shoulder. This didn't discrat me to much whilst I was locating the cache. I signed the log and replaced it back in it's hide.
"Scrat" visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

Deciding to skip the RRPT for an afternoon geoD headed into the city to find a cache. Picking this one at random it was then time to try and find the closest parking location. A number of wrong turns and local traffic only roads later geoD was finally within 60m of GZ.
A short walk and a quick search soon had the cache located. Signed the log, enjoyed the art, and admired the view then ot was time to head home.

What can I say. The cache blindness was alive and well. I even checked the cache once!! Then the Reluctant Companion had a flash and the prize was ours!! TNLN TFTC
Great place and hide. Enjoyed my stop over in town from Sydney. Might get to do some more on Wednesday night before the return trip.
Met my first fellow geocacher today at this cache, Danzfox...together we found this cache, a nifty sneaky hide with great views!
Found the cache with the help of fellow cacher - "^dventurers", who I met at the scene. Great to talk to a person of similar interest.

On my way down from Caste Hill decided to go for this cache. The google maps image brought me to a place 10m away from gz first, but when looking for the more typical hides, the cache was a quick grab. SL, TNLN, TFTC!
North Qld 2013. Day 9 was my first full day in Townsville and today was the day to hit the Ross River Power trail. This was another cache where I had to override Tom Toms desire to have me walk straight up the cliff face. When I found the roads that connected to up here I found myself in a fantastic spot to view the surrounding area and grab a cache or two while I was here. Thanks.

What a wonderful picture to have overlooking your city. A quick find was made of this cache and the nearby GCA and then the camera got a bit of a workout. Thanks.
Spent the afternoon tidying up a few that we had missed around town.
Thanks for bring us here as the pictures were even better close up.
Cache in good condition.

Went for a walk up castle hill. Decided to do cache. Was in the first spot we looked!
Nice easy find after an afternoon of catching up with a friend in the city. The person who painted this mural works with me and I have been promising to do this cache for a while to get a close up of the mural. Wonderful views from here also. Thanks insane.cache.posse

Last one for the day. Great spot. Looks like they've repainted the big picture too. TFTC
My second find of five on and around Castle hill today.
I made the trip down from 'Games we play' and quickly made the find.
I do remember a multi that ended here not too long ago and thought I may have found that one again but it looks like that one is no longer active.
Now it's time to head back up the hill and tackle the goat track.
Cheers and happy caching.

I took the T4 route to this cache by walking up Blackwood Street, scrambling over rocks, and climbing through the prickles until I reached the path which lead me to the west towards GZ.
This climb rekindled memories of my early twenties when with a group of friends we would do crazy stuff like ride our MTB's down the goat track. I still have a scar on my elbow from where I went over the handlebars on some slick rock at the top of Blackwood Street.
Once at GZ, some cache blindness set in. I got there eventually. Love the new improved grafitti on the tank.
This find - number 750 - is a mini milestone. TFTC and the memories insane.cache.posse

I had visited here previously when this was the final GZ for a multi. Nice to see that the mural has had a touch up since then. TFTC.
Great views here late at night, We could hear the music blasting away down at the pub!
Took much much longer than it should have to find the access road to this cache!!!

I have seen this mural many times in my short stay here in Towns and it is even more impressive up close, thanks
On a walk around the hill and came down here to check this out. Thought I better sign it and get it off the list. After the long walk and thinking I had got them all I see another of yours.
Damn you. Damn you all to hell. (Planet of the Apes reference not a slight intended on your character at all.)
Thanks for the cache.

At high school I had a friend who was terrified of frogs and was NOT a fan of the water tank . It always makes me giggle driving past now. Another brilliant vantage point over the city on our way down from the hill this morning and the cache was soon found at 0841h. Conveniently, there is a gca cache just 40m away - 2 for 1 . Thanks insane.cache.posse
Certainly a great view and lovely artwork. Another fantastic spot that caching has taken us to TFTC

2nd find for the day.
Grabbed the newly published Tango Charlie and I was a little to early to go to work. So I decided to see where the decoder coin was and decided to grab this cache and coin with it.
It's a lovely place and will take bear here next time.
I was lucky that I found the cache in the first place I looked.
Thanks for placing this cache again ICP as I haven't been to this loc yet
Took Decoder Coin !!

We had commented on the artwork when we were driving around town over the last few days. It was great to drive up to the site and enjoy the views from up here. Spent more time soaking up the scenery than finding the cache. A nice hide thanks, SL, took TB, TFTC
We had visited this area looking for another cache hidden a little further up the slope.
We did spend a lot of time admiring and photgraphing the colourful artwork.
We eventually located the cache and signed the log. We took nothing and left nothing.

This one was an easy find for me, since I had found the multi cache before.
Love the vibrant colours of the 'picture', you can still smell the fresh paint.

Well I knew where this was supposed to be from the description - I had almost completed the previous version of the cache but due to the painting going on here I couldn't access GZ. Thanks to the CO I was able to claim a find. I returned today and made the find rather quickly. Signed log and took the GC while dropping off a couple of TBs. Grabbed the PT for the geoboy's collection too!
Thanks!
Thanks!
# 587 I think Ministro is testing us. The last cache published was so late at night that I could not justify going out with work the next morning. This one was published mid afternoon while still at work. By knockoff, there had still not been a FTF claim log, so I raced home to pick up the Monkeys.
Unfortunatly, by the time everyone was ready to go, Psilonikes log appeared and all urgancy dropped away. Stopped and ran some errands before heading up the hill. Knew exactly where to go to claim the find as we had been here before and claimed the FTF on this spot last time.
At GZ, was surprised to see how good the Big Art looked. Has it been redone?
SL Took PT and GC, Left nothing TFTC

Saw the notify pop up. Alarm went off and I hastily donned my gear and ran out the door. Then I realised that I have no credit left... So I wrote the coordinates on my arm instead, hahaha! I knew I'd still have a very good chance of FTF on this one, because this close and you'd have to be on Sturt Street to beat me there
Anyway... This is a spot I've wanted to visit since I first came to Townsville. So thankyou for giving me a reason to see this up close! P&P had wanted to place a hide up here a long time ago; I didn't realise this was a GZ then, but it makes sense there would be one here.
This one would make a great beginner cache: any cacher /should/ spot it in an instant, FANTASTIC views, a bit of a trek up, in a place out of the way. It's now on my 'top hides for initiates' list.
I couldn't resist kneeling like Spiderman on one of the concrete pillars and looking down at all the people below: if you're like me, that alone is worth the trip.
FTF number 9! Took 1 PT, left 2 GC. TFTC ICP! Favourite!
