I parked right near the cache but didn't see it. I then searched every tree within 15m until I eventually came back to the right place and spotted the cache. I wonder how I missed it when I first got there.
Thank dude that was a nice trek from Geordie it was a fun adventure for the whole family
Visiting From NZ.Staying in Fremantle and just had to visit the Island. We had great weather all week. Today was the worst day of that week, even though it was still fine and warm for us. The wind got up later in the day and made it trickier to ride the bike and a choppy ride home in the ferry.Got back to the village and wifey had definitely had enough cycling, so I ditched her and cycled out to this one. I couldnt leave two trads unfound! The wind was rather blowey by now and it made it difficult, especially after an already 35km ride, but as it was a slow paced ride today, I had plenty left in me to grab these last two trads. Just one more!TFTC
Awesome spot! So happy to find one on Wadjemup/Rotto. The items inside are such a cool collection! TFTC
Found on a windy day during my stay for the IRMMW-THz conference in Perth tftc, greetings from Austria
A quick find with Arandee on a stop off in WA, on our return to NZ from Africa. Tftc#10525
Tried to make hard work of this but it was pretty simple, thanks. We are on a biking tour on our way home to NZ from Botswana...a great place for safari, tftc.
Would it be worthwhile to visit Rottnest? Yes! Fell in love with the island instantly. Visited this geocache as a souvenir. Tftc!
Great view that we probably wouldnt have seen if it were not for the cache, tftc
Thanks. I've been to Rottnest countless times and never knew about this landmark until now
Got absolutely drenched on the way to find this one - left a little dinosaur surprise.
Was short on time and did not find it (. Had a look around the bushes along the road. A shame but we did manage to find another geocache.
GPS slightly off. Its not in any of the trees. This was cache number 7 on our bike ride. TFTC, #1514
Found it but no pen and pens in cache not working. Look photo to record the find. Great location and hiding spot. Thanks!
Found with socialspectrum! Thanks for the cache! I have throughly enjoyed exploring the island!
Completed a check on the cache to find it in good condition. Added more notebooks and pens. Enjoy.

We are from Switzerland...and we travel all states and Terrotories of Australia .We do housesitting all over the world and travel afterwards. Its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching Nggi2 and I decided today and to make out of that green ones Smilies .We travel now around WA before we leave for other countrys . I was looking forward to this trip to Rottnest Island very much . We were here 14 years ago .It looked more busyer this time .We went out on the rented bikes.around the Island to visit all Tradis. Everytime we stopped for a cache a Quokka turned up to my pleasure. Of course it was different from seeing them near the restaurants etc. We spoted all cache in good time just like the Quokkas .Thank you for this Dsli (which means in Swiss cache )oinkoinkText@camp
We had a great day on the island and cycled a few kilometers. Great bays and beaches invite you to swim. And of course we also saw the quokkas. Funny animals.
#7452Day 10 in WA involved a trip to Rottnest Island. We tried to pick the least windy day as we aimed to cycle around the island. After picking up our eBikes, we set off in a clockwise direction. While there was no wind to speak of, we did encounter intermittent drizzle until we got to the west end. From there on, it was beautiful sunshine and quite warm. After lunch, it was time to head out again and visit the norther part of the island. This one took ages to find as I had something quite different in mind for the hide. On reading a past log to suggest coords were quite good, I stumbled across the SPOR.TFTC RowstonianInstitute
Visiting from Brisbane with T-Tech. Today we are heading to Rottnest Island Tick that off the Bucket List! We hired electric bikes and spent 6 hours riding the length and breadth of the island, travelling 50kms, seeing the sights and gathering caches. With the long haul out to Bishop's Retreat completed we headed back to The Settlement for lunch, but of course there'll be a few more caches along the way. Another quiet little area and T-Tech made a quick find. TFTC, RowstonianInstitute.
