Stopped the night in Rolleston and today we are winding our way back to Christchurch. A glorious day and ready for some quick and easy finds to boost numbers. We hoping to get to CHCH to do some Wherigos but having looked them us we decided they would eat up time too much on this trip. Gonna grab the Virtual in central CHCH though. Thanks to all who placed these caches along the way. Love the fact its easy to pull off and park. Surprised the country roads are as busy as they are. Wish we could have stay a couple of weeks and not just four days. We will return!
Couldn't find this one today.

Quick find but log has disintegrated. See photo. So logging instead of signing. Tftc.

Having an Easter "it's all about the numbers" weekend. Day 4.
Very quiet here on an Easter Sunday morning. Nearly had me stumped.

Cheers GPS was all over the place to start with. Soon came right and I made the find. Thanks
All quiet here today except I could hear some kids in the school pool. I have to admit I was a bit jealous! TFTC
Picked a good day to search for this cache. I can imagine it could be a bit difficult searching here during certain times of year and certain times of day. Thanks for the cache.
#8218. We'd tried searching from the grass without success, and then ventured into the undergrowth. I found the cache, and was kneeling doing the paperwork when a chap came by on a ride on, so close he could probably have reached out and touched me. TFTC.
Certainly one to look for in the school holidays or the weekend. Took a bit to track down. We were lurking in the undergrowth, signing the log book when a guy on a ride on mower came past, and couldn't help but see us. I thought I'd better explain what we were up to, and he seemed quite happy with our explanation. We showed him the cache as well. He said he's seen other people loitering around here and wondered what they were up to - know he knows. TFTC.
I have been wanting to find this cache for a long time now. But it always seems busy when I go past. However it was not so busy this time with the school holidays on.TFTC
Cool little cache thought is was something else for a minute and nearly dismissed it. Cheers for the hide
We had a great time looking for this cache. we had to go through stinging netal and barb wire, but over all we had a great time.
While all the others were in the land of nod I decided to go for a bit of a local tiki-tour and explore the area. TFTC, #5746
Found it while on my lunch break had the GZ to myself, although the school children were in the playgrounds they were too busy to notice what 1eyednbf (1 eyed and proud of it) was up to, quick easy find, TFTH
On our way out for the afternoon to do some caches. This was the first on the list. A quick and easy find. Nobody around on a non-school day. TNLN Thanks.
Found it very quickly and then dropped the thing. Due to its size and colour I doubted I'd ever find it again. A lot of leaf shifting later and I found it. Phew! TFTC.
A pungent aroma of composting grass nearby - Spring is here! A quiet spot today, would certainly be busy other times! TFTC
Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack scored that geocach....a great place, Cache was a little exposed so hid it closer to the GZ with debris around it to ensure it didn't get muggled. TFTC happy geocaching month
there was something on here today but despite a lot of cars road was deserted so easy find. TFTC.

So, since Cats & Dragons was down for a couple days, we arranged to meet up for a spout of caching! I said that I was cool to go anywhere, as long as it was outside the Chch sort of city limits, so that I could keep enough for one a day the rest of the time to keep my streak going!
Apparently I got to choose therefore, and I decided that Lincoln seemed like a good idea! I had never been caching out this way before!!
This was the 26th cache of the 26 we found today.
Well... after the last cache... "Score", (seriously, read the log... ) it was definitely nice to do something a little more easy and chilled... admitedly was expecting something a bit bigger, but hey, we were just glad we didn't drown at this cache!!
Seriously... you would have thought we would have given up after the last one... but nope. It was along the way!! Though we did double and triple check that this was on sealed road!!

Final Cache of the evening and after the last cache this was a pleasent change
Headed out here with Sonia26642 as we hadn't seen each other for a while (since Auckland), she was director of ceramonies while I was the driver, this was the start of a most memorable evening in the wind and rain before I headed north again tomorrow.
Between having the long and short of it I think we had pretty much all the height aspect of caching hides covered.

Had to wait for a muggle to move on. Being a mum certainly helps make you feel a lot less dodgy at time like these.
A quick easy find sufficiently far away from the school entrance and cars parked there. TFTC
Going past and this one popped up so had to grab it - it being 5pm also helped as any earlier would have been dodgy. Cheers
Was a little worried getting close to GZ. Never like lurking around schools especially when caching on my own. But true GZ was okay and with my wife I hope I looked a little less suspicious. Nice easy find for Chelzea in the end. TFTC
Thanks for bringing me down these country roads, I didn't know this place was even here!
Found a logsheet with the previous finders name on it, but container was missing. TFTC
