GeoLorikeet, GeoGooseAU and I solved a puzzle and then saw on our geocaching widget that bicentennial park was nearby so we decided to stop over and go geocaching.-end copy paste-Second time round. Took a sec but found. Nice views. TFTC
#15367 16:00A few hours of geocaching with Martin Cousins around SOP before attending the GeoBanQuest at the Silverwater hotel.A good find today in the presence of the CO. Some nice views from up the tower!TFTC Martin Cousins.
Came here last night but the tower was closed. I was not going to have to illegally do this one so just left it.
I have distant memories of climbing this tower on a school excursion years ago and feel it must have been the last time I was at GZ. The troops raced ahead to climb the steps and I could hear them yelling down to me as I was admiring the sculptures near by. They are not stealthy. They descended not realising there was a cache up there so I ascended with them again followed the hints and signed the fresh log. TFTC. Peaceful hedged garden with lovely words nearby.
Has a decent look around, but alas, I could not find it today. Perhaps I was on the wrong level. Had to keep cycling as I couldn't afford to lose too much daylight. I'll be back to avenge this DNF another day.
It was out of position, thus returned and a new log sheet added. Cache on again
Spent the day skating around Olympic bark and Bicentennial Park picking up caches. Initially searched in the correct area but after no luck starting looking elsewhere. Hint put be back on the right track thanfully. TFTC
Found this cache before the nearby Rhodes Parkrun, a nice and easy find using the hint. thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Martin cousins.
Beautiful day for a wander; fabulous views; no muggles; sneaky little sucker; tftc (log is very full)
Out and about with the extended family in this nearby park, and was so pleased young eyes found this one. Great views here. Thanks for having a physical cache to show the young and older members of the family what a cache maybe to actually find.
Gotcha this time round, was a relatively easy find too. Maybe the hint made more sense or maybe I was just had a different searching brain today. Either way it's a good start to my day. Tftc
I found it but we forgot to bring a pen to write, the good thing is we had fun!
Took us a while to get our directions sorted . We didnt bring a pen so didnt sign. Tftc
A lady was doing some stretching right next to the cache. It did not seem like she would be done soon, so I asked if I could take a moment to search. She agreed and was very interested in our favourite hobby. Cache was quickly found, tftc!
Spotted it instantly but geogirlfriend wanted to try one without any help - she struggled a bit with this one! Never mind, we got there in the end.Nice views, was here a year ago for a mates wedding, we took photos all around the park.Tftc!
Very tricky hide! Spending the day around Sydney Olympic Park and thought we would have lunch in Bicentennial Park, which was the perfect excuse to climb up the tower. Thanks for this clever cache.
My very first cache. After a bit of searching, finally found it. It has been moved but a good first find. Love the view!
Performed a cache check and its here. Has moved slightly but within a foot.
Ill have a cache check in the morning with a replacement if its unavailable
Unfortunately the viewing platform is closed of a night. Only got to the 1st flight of stairs.Next time
One of the Tribe was here for course at the Waterview... Early finish meant time for caching, and introducing a good friend to caching too! After a bit of time spent searching, and putting our heads together about where specifically to look from the hint, it was quickly found!Something else super special was this was a spot for a first date for the tribe parents back in the early 2000's.Thank you for a great cache, and a lovely trip down memory lane
I’m back in Sydney for a few days, visiting from Brisbane. Today’s plan was to find some old caches at Sydney Olympic Park. I came by ferry and walked about 18km.
I walked up the tower and had the place to myself so didn’t take long to find the familiar container. Tftc

On an early morning cache run on the way back home and stopped off to find several caches in the area. This was number one on the list and the trip up was like Pitt Street with about a dozen early-morning joggers using the stairs for their workout. Having dodged the line we continued to admire the views as we circled the deck. In a classic shoelace maneuver, we grabbed the cache from its hide location. With the cache in hand, we signed the log, then replaced as found. Thanks for the cache Martin cousins
