Nice quick find this time (last time we gave up looking). The log is a little damp and musty but still can be signed. TFTC
24 June 2024 4:10pmMy GPS was quite bouncy on this one but a little bit cache-sense managed this was found pretty quickly. Whilst hiding from traffic and finding this cache I looked up and realised I was being watched - a good reminder that old trees and logs are safe havens for many of the little critters that are around.
With a couple of caches on the radar this afternoon to get me close to completing a challenge cache Im working on I headed west on an overcast day in South East Queensland.I dropped the wife off at QPAC and made my way to the parking spot and quickly arrived at ground zero. I worked my way to the caches location and soon had the log in hand. Signed and dated and returned safely for the next cacher to find. I was soon on my way to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by like minded individauls.Cheers
Not what I expected from the clue but found never the less! Picked up a few bottles here thrown in the bushes. TFTC
Im in town for a few days and having a look around my old stomping grounds - I lived in a few houses in the area until about 20 years ago. Brookfield has changed a lot since I first moved here, so many more people here now. This roundabout used to be just a bend in Rafting Ground Road; Winrock was a small side street to a few houses. Lindsey Way didnt exist and all the land ahead of you to the creek used to be Tucketts Farm (consisted of two grain silos and maybe a few cows occasionally).Ill have a good look for ticks tonight after having found this.TFTC Nurseyjulie
After a scary road crossing, got to GZ and started the search. Eventually sussed out where it could be due to experience of similar caches. Nice one, thanks for the cache!Coolabah OUT!!!
In Brookfield this afternoon for an errand, and this cache was conveniently along my route. I can see where this geocache's name comes from, and after looking at one initial spot, it was then a quick find after reading the recent [Owner maintenance](https://coord.info/GL1AGTHW7) note. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Nurseyjulie for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
This cache (and others) are close enough to home that I should have found them a long time ago. But today was the day - after dropping EJ off at cricket in Kenmore Hills and taking the dogs with me. Thanks for the cache. A few mozzies around today after last nights and this past weeks heavy rain. The one I just swotted spewed blood everywhere so it must have taken a nice drink from me! Still, there were loads of BIG scotch grey mozzies (way more) at the two Lota Creek caches I did yesterday! You think I would have learnt & bought mozzie repellent with me!
Out with the geo-teen. Shes enjoyed this one because of the high risk chances of being stabbed with branches or finding moving sticks, it certainly had our heart rate up. TFTC.
Driving home after a visit to the nursery I had to stop for a few park and grabs. Gps bounced about but a quick scan of the logs lead me directly to the cache. Log signed and replaced as found, TFTC
I was heading out to Anstead today and saw that this cache had been replaced so I took a little detour to have another look. Nice and easy to find it this time. Thanks Nurseyjulie!

Cache replaced and good to go, in the same tree its always been - under a rock . (Not in the rotten tree)
I believe it is in this tree area , but the tree had rotted out and is very dangerous atm could fall any secs, will return another day
Can’t see it anywhere. I’m not sure how far in to the bush I need to go but there are spiky vines everywhere and I’m not in a mood to fight them today.
Took trackable that we found here
We stopped to look for this cache as we were passing through.
All good here

This was a little scary with the road so close. My phone was showing 12m off GZ. TFTC
Yes, when we were having a run of DNF we found this one! Add a pineapple swap just for fun! Great hide.
Easy find once we got into the bush off the busy intersection without looking too suspicious. Dropping off a TB all the way from Rottnest Island. Tftc
After a short hunt around GZ I popped the GPS away and let geosenses take over. Headed over to a likely looking candidate where I quickly spotted the telltale hide.TFTC Nurseyjulie
After checking out a couple of places it was DisSister who came up trumps. All good with the cache . TFTC
My GPS wanted me about 6 m further away from where we found it, so I searched a number of objects before expanding the search and risking the very thorny vines. DisSister spotted this one, but not where we expected from the hint. The cache was in fine condition.

Co ordination took us a little way out. With instinct, the goods came to hand logging with
Hunting down a few cache's in the area today with Liz & Bruce and Chamad. This was a nice quick find due to multiple eyes at GZ.

Out today with Team Tyrrell and Liz and Bruce collecting puzzle caches and anything else in the area. This was one of today’s collections; while we were mainly concentrating on the sound series of caches it was hard not to collect others as we passed by. It was a fun day with lots of laughs and joking along the way, I’d be happy to cache any day with these people.
All good with this cache, thank you to the CO for placing this one here.

Out with chamad and team tyrell today finding caches in the area. Thanks for hiding and giving us the opportunity to explore this area.
I’ve always enjoyed writing my found it logs over a few beers at the pub. The creative juices just seem to flow and you start losing your inhibitions and money.
One of the draw backs is when you overhear another drunken group trying to remember the names of movies or actors. You know the answer to their questions and want to scream it out to them but also don’t want to appear as the know it all wanker. Being a know it all is something I have never been accused of, the other part many times though.
It also gets in the way of penning your log because your train of thought is corrupted by those around you. Suddenly you find yourself in a drunken trivia contest when you should be describing the effort required in finding the cache. We found it, and the answer was Meryl Streep. tftc

Log was found today after reading previous find logs and using hint. Find was quick and easy and as stated by previous finders log is SOAKING wet and was not signable, hence photo of cache was taken (away from GZ) Water in cache was tipped out and cache replaced upside down as there is no lid on this cache. Maintenance is required for this and CO has been messaged. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
Cache owner maintenance required to replace broken cache container that is missing its lid, as per my find photo.
Caching in this lovely part of town.
Almost a park and grab, just the fact that I was on the wrong side of the road. Or was it the cache?
Thank you for this cache

After looking at the wrong tree, hubby found it. Cache is missing the lid. Placed it back upside down.
Avenged a former DNF here, it seems I was checking the wrong tree. The container is missing a lid and contents are soaked, so I popped it back upside down to try and keep the contents drier.
Will need a CO check.

Log signed at 13:55 and cache returned as found. Thanks for the smilie **Nurseyjulie**. This log is trackable.

Yaaay!! I'm off on my Brisbane trip. Sad to be leaving my lady and her kids. I shall have to cheer myself up with geocaching ...
I've done some pocket queries and some research on the results. I'm trying to meet lots of targets for Professor Rapidly Wild's UGC series at home, so I'm seeking :
Two caches placed in 2000 - none found so far
One cache placed in 2001 - none found so far
119 caches of size "Regular" - Thirty found so far
20 caches of size "Large" - One found so far
One letterbox in Qld - Two found, target met
One letterbox in NSW - none found so far
Any puzzles and multicaches I can reasonably find.
I've located enough caches to find on this trip on this trip to complete all but the last target. So we'll see how I go.
My lady and my family are getting along like a house on fire. It's great. We are on the way to visit my niece and her kids, and we've stopped here for an easy grab. The cache has lost its lid, and needs fixing
Day 1, Monday - 12 in total, including five "Regular" sized caches.
Day 2, Tuesday - 16 in total, including one "Large" and eight "Regular" sized caches
Day 3, Wednesday - 21 in total, including thirteen "Regular" sized caches and one Qld letterbox
Day 4, Thursday - 4 in total, comprising four "Regular" sized caches and one Qld letterbox
Day 5, Friday - one, to keep my streak going.
Day 6, Saturday - one, to keep my streak going.
Thanks, NurseyJulie

After parking nearby, we popped down to where the GPS was pointing this. A generous hint had us looking for a certain type of GZ which was quickly found smothered in a cloud of midgies! Made a quick grab and made our mark. Log a bit damp, but all in all cache is in pretty good nick. Returned to its hidey hole and snapped a quick pic of a most interesting sight on the way back. TFTC
Quick find but wet log. Hard to scratch our name with a pencil on wet paper, but got there in the end.
An easy find by the side of the road. Signed the log as a few cyclists whizzed by. Tftc
Found it on the ground. Placed it back where the hint suggested. Left a trackable
Nice and easy find just after sunset. Log is extremely wet, unfortunately I didn't have a spare paper with me to replace it. Signed as best as I could. Tftc
Coordinates are spot on, just not easy to search while wearing sandals TFTC, log wet...
Next up I made my way to four ways! On my way from the car I was thinking of all the types of 4 ways I could think of like or 4 pieces of pie . At GZ or there abouts I saw a sneaky barbed wire fence so I retreated and found what I was after yay! The cache was very exposed so after signing the log and popping back I covered with some natural camo. The contents were a bit damp but the log could be signed no worries . I swapped a DC keyring for an emoji rubber . I love this type of container. Tftc
Easy find, very little traffic. I was far enough out of sight when the couple of cars went by. TFTC
Drove pat this one 100s times. Today I stopped and signed the log.

This was my last find in this area for today.
I spent a minute looking in the wrong spot, definitely barking up the wrong tree.
I changed my search area and found the cache uncovered but still partially hidden.
Added my name to the log and replaced as found, adding some camouflage before leaving the area.
Signed and returned. Tftc
